Swizzler Crispy Chicken + Smash Burgers

A must: Add this spot to your list during your next visit to DC or just out and about! Very small but aesthetically pleasing. My family has been Twice the first time we found a seat to sit inside the restaurant to eat. The second visit we took to go which is 40 minutes away. The food was just as delicious with the travel and wait. We look forward to going back and hope to see one near me in the near future (Fairfax, VA). We also didn't skip a chance at purchasing the French fries from whole foods (fraozen) they are delicious cooked home also!

This is a pretty solid burger spot! For the price, the portion is really good. The fries are my fave kind, and I love that sauce that comes with. I got the signature burger and that was also good! The only reason it's not 5 stars and there are better smash burgers out there, but it's still good!The staff is nice and service is fast, overall a great little spot.

Swizzler has been on our list for a while. We got two different burgers: swizzler signature and bacon jalapeño. The meal included drinks and fries. The burgers were so delicious - each came with two patties; and the fries were crisp to perfection. Loved the service as well. This is definitely more of a casual fast food joint - but delivers on quality food. Would definitely come back to alternate between our favorite burger spots in the city!

Solid and reliable smash burger. I really have no complaints about their burger. I got the bacon and candied jalapeño burger but really didn't care for the jalapeño. It was like the texture of a fine relish and didn't mesh really well with the burger. But that's a personal preference. The rest of the burger was great. The fries were great. The staff were nice, and the room and bathroom were clean.

We were super impressed with Swizzler! The service was fast and super helpful. The burgers and fries were way bigger than we expected, actually making them a great value for the price. The burgers were juicy and the fries were crispy. It wasn't too busy or loud which was nice. Definitely recommend stopping in!

Service was perfect attentive and quick. The place was clean and bright. The swizzler signature cheeseburger with added bacon was top tier. One of the best burgers i ever had. The fries was perfect i asked for light salt and they executed just that. The Arnold Palmer was a great amount of sweetness. Definitely gonna return because of that burger alone. The sauce and taste was great.

My first night in DC this place was close by so I tried the bacon jalapeño burger, and it was delicious!!! I ended up going back the next night to try the spicy chicken sandwich and each of their sauces and all the sauces were good and the chicken sandwich was amazing!!! The lady that worked there the first time I went was really nice! And the gentleman that was at the counter when I ordered the second time I went was also very pleasant. I'd say overall customer service was good! It's a very casual laid-back burger spot. Definitely would go back!

Something that always irks me a little is when people try restaurants and say stuff like, "this might be the best [insert food] I've had in [small city or region]." It sounds impressive but it doesn't really mean anything. Olive Garden might have my favorite pasta...Anyways, Swizzler's serves the best burger in DC (see, that wasn't so hard!). I would take them over Duke's and Eat Brgz. I had the American Standard, which is a true classic: two patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. All of the ingredients are high-quality, and the toppings really spotlight the smashburger patty, which is excellent. I washed it all down with a refreshing lemonade.The bacon jalapeño burger is also excellent. And they have a whole other section of the menu devoted to fried chicken sandwiches, which looked amazing. Next time!

Their bacon burger is a standout. The smoky, crispy bacon pairs beautifully with the juicy patty and melted cheese. The bun was a bit soft, but it didn't take away from the overall experience.

I went here after work because I wanted a fast and casual meal. I got the swizzler signature, which was about $9.5 for the burger itself. Now, I could have gone to shake shack but I wanted to try out this place. The food seemed a bit more substantial. I did like the food. The burger had two patties and a cheesy/mayo sauce that was kind of like an improved big mac sauce. The onions were similar to the big mac, as well as the pickles. But the smashing of the burger make the patty taste very nice and not dry at all. Food came out very fast, within a few minutes. That is faster than shake shack. The vibes: It's pretty quiet when there isn't a game. And there isn't that much seating. But this is a great place to go if you live in the neighborhood. I will have to come back to try the chicken sandwiches.
