Sushi Rock

Sushi Rock is a go-to spot in the Courthouse area, and for good reason! I've ordered from here multiple times, and they rarely disappoint.On my most recent to-go order, I got a classic California Roll, Spicy Shrimp Roll, and the Wagyu Beef Sliders--all of which were fantastic. The sliders, in particular, were a standout. They're cooked perfectly, so the meat stays juicy, and the special sauce takes them to the next level.While I'm not the biggest sushi fan, I appreciate that this place offers a great selection of classic sushi dishes while also catering to those who aren't into raw fish. It makes it a great spot for mixed groups where everyone can find something they'll enjoy.The ambiance leans on the darker side, especially at night, which adds a bit of a moody vibe. Whenever I've dined in, the service has been excellent--the staff is always attentive and welcoming.

Food: Sushi was so fresh, we did AYCE for New Years and everything was made to order and was so fresh, not to mention a nice variety for the menu choices. Ambiance & service : always a nice clean environment, friendly waitstaff and support staff (cleaning crew). Bathrooms were nice and clean and stocked well with extra toilet paper and napkins.

This place is overhyped. They sat us at high tops without sharing that other people would also be seated at the table, which was awkward as you can imagine. Food didn't make up for it either. Crab roll was disgusting and we had to send it back. Avocado + Salmon roll was really mid. The Shrimp tempura was the only thing I slightly enjoyed. Service was slow and inattentive. I will say the happy hour prices are a good deal, but honestly not worth it.At several points staff would walk past us with food that smelled so raw it felt like we are at a fish market. Would not recommend this place and do not plan on coming back.

Spontaneously hopped in for happy hour (which is only at the bar, by the way) with a couple friends. Had a sushi craving, but know that I did not go in with the expectation of having authentic or fresh sushi. That being said, I scarfed down the eel & avocado roll and tempura roll with sweet miso and my friends enjoyed their crispy rice spicy tuna dynamite rolls.Service left something to be desired, as the bartenders were not proactive and didn't crack a smile. We never got served waters either, which I'd imagine is standard at a food establishment.

Nice ceviche (with thin crispy wonton skins) on a hot summer day. Lovely sashimi over rice (it's chirashi). Enjoyed their simple pork ramen (thin noodle) if a bit expensive for what it is.Sushi Rock remains fashionable (beautiful patio outside, see my photo); tall ceiling and modern and arty inside. I ordered on UberEats for self pick up but had to wait for a long time even after arrival (and after the app says "your food should be ready"). That's the estimate Sushi Rock itself gave. Not busy at all (not meal time) here. So what took so long? They were not proactive either even after I arrived. I was there and no one bothered checking on my order or coming to give me any update. I had to go up there to tell them I have been waiting for a long time which is when they finally finished packing up my order.

Best happy hour in Arlington for the price, hours (with both early and late night hours), drink and food quality. The times I've visited with different family in town during the weekday early dinner (5pm ish), the service has been responsive, the food has been hot, prompt and delicious and the sake strong. The ambiance is typical for seats at the bar.

Dropped in here for a late lunch with my sister and we had an overall positive experience. The feel you get being inside is kind of a modern take on what you would expect from your typical sushi restaurant look like. They had delicious cocktails and the sushi rolls and sashimi we ordered were all fantastic. Towards the end of our meal the restaurant really started to get packed in the early hours of dinner service, so that's always a good sign. Especially for the size of the dinning room. My only real complaint is how floppy the menu was. It's pretty large and impossible to hold with one hand. A minor inconvenience, but still not very ideal.

One of the best Sushi restaurants in NOVA, makes sure you get a reservation if you're going on a weekend night. Their drinks are awesome, their sushi is awesome, you cannot go wrong with this place for date night.

Daye night find! Good ambiance, awesome sushi it was really quiet, the day we went so parking and wait were good as well. Will definitely return!

Sushi rock is incredible for the pricing and happy hour pricing. The rolls are great, the $14 pork miso ramen is amazing for the price. Always great music
