Lunch sushi buffets here are quite a good deal I'd say. $22 and you can order special rolls, nigiris and any appetizer on the list and any amount you want. If you want sashimi though, the price goes up to $33. The quality of the fish is amazing. However, the rice is not quite there. It was a little too dry. I didn't notice it at first but after consuming a bunch, I could not bear that dryness anymore. So I went rogue and had to disrespect the sushi chefs by eating just the fish leaving all the rice. Rude, I know, but let me explain. The wait was incredibly long. We got a seat right away but we were given fair warning that it's going to be a long wait to get our nigiris and that we need to place our order in as much as we can as early as we can. So we DID! The appetizers came fairly quickly. The nigiris came almost like an hour later. By that time we were munching on so much appetizers and we're not that hungry anymore. On top of that everything came all at once! We freaking realized it was all too much wayyyy too late. By the way, the waiter came again before we got the nigiris that it's last call and they were closing lunch, we put even more orders in! Yeesh. My advice: if you don't mind waiting, keep your own count and don't order so much appetizers. Go for sashimi to skip the dry rice. The place is packed for sure during lunch. The staff is friendly and attentive. The decor and presentation of the place itself is more than average but nothing fancy. Note the parking spaces are very limited. There are like 8 spots in the front and 8 in the back. If you drove in the back with a big truck, you'd have to back out. The parking spaces next door divided by a barrier can be used but do not park on the spaces marked with a towing signs.

Sushi Oishii is a fun time if you like the idea of eating as much sushi in 90 minutes. Pretty much anything on the sushi menu is fair game.. you pick how many you want and what kind of sushi you want.. nigiri, sashimi, and speciality rolls that they feature there. Service may vary depending on how busy it is. For me I went on a sunday night that was busy when I came in but the crowd was less prevalent after I was done paying for my bill.Service was nice, plates were taken away, water was refilled. If you ordered a lot expect a bit of a wait because there's other orders waiting to be fulfilled. Not everything comes out first but if you were to order nigiri or sashimi that seems to come out first. Maybe something like salad, soup, appetizers too.If there's anything to say, parking can be a challenge since it's limited to the front and the back. Some have parked across the street or at the store next door; you would put yourself in risk of getting towed just fyi.

Good service, checked on us to make sure we had everything we wanted.Dessert is always iffy... they never have everything listed for some reason. It's ok we're not really there for dessert anyway.

Updated to a solid 4 stars! The service we received on Monday was amazing. I feel like the speed and quality of the food actually increased. I still love the tuna tataki and jalapeño appetizer. The rainbow roll was also very nice. I will definitely be back.

Great AYCE buffet in Northern VA! Parking is very limited with some spots in the front and back of the building. You can park in the back by the dumpster too as long as you aren't blocking other parked cars. I've seen customers park at nearby parking spaces of surrounding businesses, but I'm not sure how strict the other businesses are with parking. I came here with some friends for dinner, partially because this was one of the few buffets open late in the area. There was a good amount of seating, including seating by their open kitchen. Service was good and the food was good too. They have a lot more food options than the typical sushi buffets around there area.

I usually avoid AYCE spots, but one of our family friends recommended Sushi Oishii, so we decided to check it out.For an AYCE restaurant, the sashimi and nigiri were pretty solid - comparable to mid-tier Japanese restaurants in the area, if not better. My favorite was their scallop nigiri. The salmon and tuna sashimi were good, though a few slices of tuna were a little fibrous. Rolls were okay. For dessert, I recommend their fried cheesecake. It was fluffy and creamy with a light crispy exterior. All things considered, their sushi exceeded my expectations for AYCE. I hope the food stays this way

My husband and I went for dinner for his birthday. *if you go on your actual birthday, you can get 50% off your order!!*We were a little weary of an AYCE sushi, but our friends went and said it was good. We started off with getting 2 special rolls, couple sashimis, and nigiri. It was very good! The miso soup, seaweed salad, and the nigiris were all delicious. Some of the descriptions aren't fully descriptive of what the rolls are filled with. The volcano roll had cream cheese, if we knew we wouldn't have ordered. Our favorites were: golden dragon roll, salmon nigiri, and hamachi nigiri. Service was pretty quick. We ordered 3 full rounds of food and we were stuffed. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. We went for an earlier dinner, so luckily it wasn't too busy. But we did make a reservation just in case. As we were leaving, it was getting busier. Definitely worth trying!!

I came here exactly at 12pm on a Sunday when they opened. The lot was small and filled up fast. Please have reservations if you can. There was so many sushi roll options with sashimi and Nigri as well. Many appetizers and soups with 3 desserts to choose from. Waiter was very good. However because they were so busy the food did take some time to get to us. So know what you want is best and order all at once and keep track of what wasnt delivered yet.

I came here on a Saturday night around 6:30pm in a party of two and was seated immediately without any wait. As the night went on, there was a line forming at the door. Ambiance was casual, but the decor and lights elevated the restaurant a bit.Appetizers 3/5: Fried calamari was too chewy and lacked flavor. The pepper tuna and yellowtail jalapeño had the same sauce, so they both tasted the same pretty much. The rock shrimp was covered in a light spicy mayo sauce. The baked mussels were large and covered in a spicy mayo sauce as well. Sushi 4/5: The sashimi pieces were thick and the nigiri had a small amount of rice for each piece (which is a good thing imo). The salmon was our favorite; soft, fatty, and melted in our mouths! I also liked the white tuna nigiri. The tuna was hit or miss. Scallop and eel nigiris were just ok. The red snapper and yellowtail nigiris were good. Rolls 3/5: The spicy girl roll had shrimp tempura inside and spicy yellowtail on top. We didn't like this roll enough to order any other rolls.Dessert 5/5: Fried cheesecake was pretty good imo, but I've never had fried cheesecake before FYI.Service 5/5: Our server was Colin and he was great! Super friendly and attentive even though it was a busy night. He always made sure we had the next order put in! Small parking lot in front and back. I saw some other people park in the parking lot next door, but not sure if that's actually allowed.

Service was sooo slow! The food quality was not the best, either, even for all you can eat standards. The sauce for the pad thai was odd and tasted very ketchup-y. The steak hibachi was tough and dry. The specialty rolls were pretty good, though. The restaurant ambiance was nice, but the servers forgot orders, or it would take 20 min for something like sashimi to come out. Parking is tight and hard to get in and out of. I don't recommend this place.
