Why are you reading this? Hurry up and go eat!The service was excellent and the food was delish!I had the salmon sushi combo and my mom had the hibachi chicken bento box. My mom had so much food in the bento box, she had to take it to go.The server was delightful and helped keep my baby entertained while I wolfed down my food. They also brought out a miso soup for my baby to try and she loved it! Baby approved, mom approved, and ambiance was calm. Hurry and go!

The highlight of the new Sushi Jip (in the location of the old Endo Suhi) remains the hamachi kama, grilled yellowtail jaw. Thumb up! Take out bag was well packaged with carton layers to keep food stable and upright.However, very very slow! No one dining in. No other online orders. We ordered on their website (redirected to Clover) for self pickup. Sushi chef was idle. Basically nothing going on and yet they made us wait for a long time (website lied, saying food will be ready in 10 minutes). Shoyu ramen was sad: just one very thin slice of chashu pork! Compared to nearby Hanabi Ramen in Clarendon, this is a rip off. Not much else in there. Not as flavorful honestly as average ramen. Poke bowl too greasy with too much sauce; fresh avocado was nice though. Hibachi steak and shrimp was a hearty portion and nice. Sad, bare bone interior design and no more plants.

We had a great dinner here tonight! For newcomers or long-time fans of the prior restaurant here, I recommend giving Sushi Jip a try. We live in the neighborhood and were regulars of Endo Sushi (the restaurant in this space before the owner retired). We were quite sad to see Endo go! This is our second time to Sushi Jip and enjoyed it quite a bit. The waiter was very friendly and good. The opening salad and soup were tasty. Our salmon avocado roll was fresh and well made. It came out quickly. My wife had bulgogi and fried rice. Terrific flavor and tender meat. Large helping, and she took the extra home. I had the shrimp hibachi--not my usual order but felt right. Generous serving of shrimp, vegetables, and fried rice. Great flavor and beautiful presentation. We talked about missing the homey experience of Endo, where we ate dozens of times over the last few years. But things change, and I'm very glad Sushi Jip is here as a local restaurant with a dedicated chef/owner rather than an expensive chain coffee shop or something. On the way out, my wife asked how to pronounce "Jip" (it's close to "jeep"). In the process, we got to meet the owner Young and learn that Jip both means "home" and is his family name. Here's to making new memories at a new local community restaurant. We're rooting for Young and Sushi Jip!Bonus - my wife loved the chop sticks holders.

Brand new Japanese spot that replaced Endo Sushi in the bottom floor of the apartment building that I live inEven though this place is replacing another Japanese/sushi spot, I am overjoyed that it is here as it is 1000X better than the restaurant it is replacingThe menu is comprehensive and has a wide variety of both sushi and non-sushi options, the food is all presented beautifully, and it is all very tasty as wellIt is a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it IMO People are very friendly as wellMenu is on a QR codeBoth indoor and outdoor seating

Uber Eats pick up experience: food was ready and prepared on time, and the packaging is not only in a sturdy box but one of the most beautiful take-out box I have ever seen! Chopsticks came double-sided which was also very unique. Sushi was delicious!

Truly the best sushi restaurant in the area, hands down. The eating area is clean, well designed, and inviting. The staff is above and beyond friendly and hospitable. The food is high-quality, it's fresh, tasty, and exciting with excellent presentation. I asked our waitress what "Jip" meant and she revealed to us that she was the owner and Jip means "home" and that it is their goal to "make every customer feel welcome in their home and never leave hungry or dissatisfied". I will be returning regularly!

Really loved my experience here! I happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to pop in to see what was up. Apparently they just took over this restaurant space and are in the process of making the restaurant their own. The owner came and chatted with me a bit and was super friendly! He said they're about to overhaul the menu so I won't go into too much detail about the rolls I ate, but the fish was super fresh and the presentation was adorable.

I can't say enough how much I love this place. Julia who runs the front and Young the chef always treat me like family. And the sushi is really fantastic - definitely the best around. Try the spicy tuna crispy rice for a treat! Seriously, Julia and Young always go out of their way to make me feel welcome and now I'll never go to another local sushi place. I tell everyone in my office to give their restaurant a try! Sushi Jip is really special. I hope you love it as much as I do. It's a good thing they don't sell onigiri because I'd probably come every day if they did hahaha.

This has become my go to sushi spot since they opened. The quality of the fish for the price is unmatched. The owner is incredibly kind and its a family run business. The food and the service I receive every time is amazing. 10/10 every single time. My family now orders solely from Sushi Jip when we want sushi.
