Solid burrito. Love how they serve it with a salad....a tasty salad at that. Both their shrimp and steak burritos have so much flavor. This is just a clutch late night meal when you have to find something quick. Update on the rice: The rice in the burrito is nice and soft and seasoned.

This place has ALWAYS been fire! The NEVER miss! Everything I get is always fresh! The staff is always super nice! They're open 24/7 so that's a VIBE on a late night! Definitely recommend. This is where a lot of locals go!

I was in the area for a Yelp Elite event and was craving a quesadilla so I had to pull up. Surfside has always done right, except this one time (the rice). It tasted a bit stale which is pretty unusual for them. I ordered the steak quesadilla, street corn, a side of yellow rice and guacamole. Aside from the ride, everything tasted great! The steak quesadilla was flavorful and had just the right amount of ingredients. I tried one of the sauces they had at the condiment station and am hooked. It was a pineapple hot sauce? Sooo good. Though the menu prices are a bit high, you definitely get a nice portion size for the main items (ie quesadillas). I definitely recommend checking this spot out if you haven't done so already!

This was highly recommended and 24hr operating, but I was far from satisfied. I thought it was a place you could sit in but I sadly had to eat in the car. Sure, it was cooked well, served hot, and nice servers, but the quesadillas were a bit bland and nothing at all special for the $18 cost. Not worth it imo.

I visited Surfside for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered the Nevis (2 shrimp, pineapple, guacamole tacos with rice) and a Montevideo Bay Punch, which tasted solid. The service, location ambiance, and wait times were fine, as the stand is located near the DuPont area with a few tables set up on the sidewalk to eat. I would give it three stars primarily because of the price (about $28 after tax and tip), which feels like an overpay for tacos and a drink. There were also a lot of bees in the area while I was eating, which might not be the fault of Surfside, but still made the eating experience less than ideal. The tacos did fill me up, so if the items were cheaper, I'd give it a higher rating.

*DOORDASH REVIEW*Loved! First of all, I ordered @3am lol. But was surprisingly impressed by the quality of the food. Carne asada was quality beef cut in large chunks. The street corn is *chefs kiss*

Good Mexican food is hard to find on the east coast. The menu felt like it was made by someone who had been to Mexico on vacation once and tried to recreate the food with their own taste influence. Overall it was a good burrito, but nothing to write home about. If I weren't a West coaster used to great quality Mexican food, this place probably gets 4 stars. I wish the sauce that was poured on my salad would've been drizzled onto the burrito, because that was delicious. Quick service and nice outdoor spot to eat and relax for a bit.

Not my first time here but definitely my first review. This place is a neighborhood staple and great late night pick-me-upper. Service was within time and I never really have to wait more than 20 minutes for my order to be completed and they always get it right. Food: yesterday I ordered the Bonaire burrito ($13) which contained grilled chicken, pico de gallo, lime crema, jack cheese, yellow rice. The burrito lacked flavor and wasn't my favorite item. I normally order their quesadillas-which are always tasty-but the burrito wasn't doing anything to satisfy my appetite. Dessert: I decided to order a tres leche cake ($8) and let me say this, it was SO delicious and addictive lol if I'm not careful, I might end up eating tons of this because it was absolutely tasty from start to finish. Now while this place is a late night must try, I would say that the menu selections are a bit pricey and oftentimes, it does not come with the guarantee that the meal would be tasty. But hey, given where it's located, I get that the pricing makes sense. Overall, I enjoy having this place in the area because it helps when you're simply up cramming the books and need a quick bite or coming home from a party and that hunger hits. Whatever your dilemma, I would recommend giving them a try.

It's a cool late night spot. You walk up to the window It's just extremely packed after the club is over all the time long wait/lines so be prepared on weekends. The Jerk Chicken quesadillas are my favorite though. I also add rice.
