Super Grill Pollo

Just your average Peruvian chicken place. Nothing special. Whole yard bird $18 was on the smaller side. Overcooked. Dry. It was grab and go. Could be that it was a wintery Saturday; cold; rainy; mid-afternoon. I would give it another chance, if in the area. Come during rush hour for fresh inventory. Hopefully, it's a one off, as I like supporting small businesses. Walked in and no yard birds were cooking. That should have been a sign. Must have gotten an old bird sitting under a heat lamp. Sauces were good. Yellow mayo-based. Green hot pepper. Will return and update.

A halal greasy spoon with gyro, Peruvian-style chicken, burgers, cheesesteaks, etc. I had the 1/4 chicken dark with salad and fries. The fries are good (thin and over fried, nice), the chicken was a bit over cooked (it had been sitting in the warmer), but also tasty.

Joseph is the best! Delicious fresh prepared food and always tasty and spicy just the way I like it!

I really don't like leaving negative reviews on a restaurant but I just had to express my opinions on this place after trying it. I was looking forward to having a cheat meal right after some exercise and decided to try this place out as I was pretty close to it at the time. I have been to several Peruvian chicken restaurants and am always satisfied but not this time. I ordered a quarter chicken with yucca. Both the chicken and the yucca could've used a bit more seasoning. The service could've been a bit better, too. I might as well have eaten at the Popeyes next door.

Great food - must have the Chicken PhillySandwich with the green chutney - best sandwich in the local. DMV!

First time ordering through their website (via ChowNow) and I ordered a family meal #1. When I added the meal it didn't give me an option so I thought I would choose when I get there.As soon as I stepped through the door the gentleman at the counter, in a passive aggressive tone, asks why I didn't add my sides. I told him that I didn't have the option to on the website and if I could just order there. He then proceeds to tell me that I'm wrong and he gets online orders all day. There was no convincing him so I opened the website back up and showed him and instead of just accepting it and moving on he continues to say I was still wrong. At this point I'm just over it so I simply asks for my sides.To make things worse the gentleman half cooks my fries and Yuka and then proceeds to grab a chopped up chicken from the warmer. The chicken definitely tasted like it was sitting out for quite some time and the fries and yuka were obviously soggy. The sauce was mediocre and the coleslaw was bland (imagine large size portions of cabbage with a watery dressing).I'll never order from this place again and will stick to other local places like Max's chicken. Think twice and read the other reviews before ordering unless you're looking for God awful service and warmed up chicken.

The half or whole chicken is off the chain but the black beens and rice steal the show. Excellent flavor and excellent value. I go there 3 - 4 times a month.

Super grill is a super place!Come hungry because the portion sizes are huge, delicious, and most are under $10. The staff here are nice and get you your food quick. If you like Peruvian food definitely check this place out they even have inca cola. They also do delivery.

As a Peruvian I've tried many Peruvian chicken places, however this place looks dirty, staff is not friendly at all, and the chicken taste and smells just exactly like cheap Costco or supermarket rotisserie chicken, definitely do not recommend and I won't be going back.

Nastiest food ever. The Yuca was spoiled & inedible. The Steak & Cheese had NO cheese & the lettuce was fried (BLECH) - the sandwich was so soggy o the bread - it looked like a snotty mucus mess by the time I got to my house 15 min later. The tomatoes on the sandwich? SPOILED! My landscapers were mowing the lawn when I arrived & I asked them to come over to see it. It smelled spoiled. I took one taste of the yuca & was completely disgusted. The place is just nasty & no one should try to eat that spoiled food. The meat smelled bad, the tomatoes were spoiled, the yuca spoiled - the bread is like a big fat mucus with spoiled meat, tomatoes (no onions, no mushrooms as advertised) and definitely ZERO mayonnaise. Honestly that would have only made it more revolting. The owner was sitting YELLING on his phone in his Indian language. The whole thing was just revolting. Take your conversation to the back for Pete's sake! AND STOP SELLING SPOILED FOOD!
