Suny Sushi

Everything tasted fresh and delicious and the staff was very nice Got two rolls (because I'm pregnant) and they were both generous portions and delicious

Suny Sushi is the best sushi my wife and I have found in Annandale to date. We've tried the sushi deluxe and unagi don many times and we're never disappointed. They are located in a food court by K Market International, so you're not going to get much ambiance, but we don't care because it's great sushi, so we pick it up and bring it home. Happy campers here!

One of my favorite sushi spots in Annandale. They are located in the K market food court. The food court is pretty empty at lunch during weekdays. I like their vast options of sushi, bento box, katsu don etc Lunch ends at 2:30 so if you plan on a late lunch it will be at dinner price.

I'm sorry, but Suny Sushi is just not good. I'm surprised with their high ratings and just how many people are such fans of this place!Located in K Market's food court, their menu is quite extensive, offering various appetizers (gyoza, edamame, yakitori, fried peppers, etc.), tempura, udon, teriyaki, bento boxes, donburis, sashimi, maki, rolls, and temaki.I was craving for maki rolls, so I decided to give Suny another try. I ordered a Spicy Tuna and a Salmon Avocado maki - the Spicy Tuna was minced and there was hardly any 'spiciness' to it; the salmon had a fishy odor/taste, meaning it wasn't fresh; and, the avocado wasn't even ripened, but they still used this in the roll.In addition, the rice was extremely mushy - improperly made.Service was friendly and sweet, but the items that were served was pretty appalling. Not sure how these deemed to be okay to actually send out.No dice, Suny.+not fresh fish+improperly made rice+unripened avocado used+lack of quality control

Some of the most delicious sushi I've had and it's also from a restaurant in a food court within K-Market. The service here was great as it was crowded. I would suggest not to expect too much on the ambiance as it's a food court within an Asian supermarket.

Excellent quality, value, and service. Suny sushi is a small food court stall but it is well worth a visit. The sushi is so fresh and clean, it melts in your mouth. The place itself has friendly staff and shared seating at the food court

I've been here a number of times and finally tried the negitoro hand roll. It's a winner! Hands down the best low-key sushi joint in the area. The fish is consistently fresh and nothing deters you from trying the more intricate or elaborate options.

Ordered delivery and they first got the order wrong and the driver texted us to tell us they were going to remake it. It was finally delivered and the gyoza was missing. We called the restaurant and they said they couldn't deliver the missing item so we had to deal with Grub Hub to get a refund. The sashimi and everything was not fresh it was like end of the day been sitting out for a while. I would not recommend this place at all. Food not great and service responsiveness not good. Definitely a fail.

Went to get quick sushi to go and ordered 2 salmon skins roll and man I'm extremely disappointed.. roll look like it was a 7/11 gas station sushi.It's so embarrassing eating this, sushi rice's bland no flavor and the salmon skins not crispy 0/10Where's Gordon Ramsay at to fix this kitchen nightmares Embarrassing, disgusting, awful, and utterly disappointing

First time I went there the owner was supper outgoing and on top on advertising their food and recommending. He first approached to us while we were trying to read the menu while the other restaurants sat there on their phone. He recommended we get the BENTO boxes for lunch. The price was reasonable for such skilled crafted delicious fresh sushi. We ordered sushi bento and salmon bento. The guest We took really loved their food that they decided to take their friends there too . Every bite I took of the sushi was super MELTING and FRESH ! At first I wasn't sure how it worked and he even brought the food to us while I missed a bag( I thought both bento was in there) I was surprised at how well bagged it was ( he used separate boxes for hot food) !Today was the second time I went to get the sushi bento box! Again he was soo kind and the food was FRESH and delicious! I would personally recommend sushi bento to anyone ! the 5 pc they had were THICK FRESH CHEWY MOUTH WATERING ! I almost cried every bite from its flavor! SUSHI BENTO! comes with variety food. Sushi- Chewy, fresh, thick, small amount of rice Tempura- fresh veggie inside with right amount of crunchiness Salad with sauce- SALAD WAS SOOO FRESH sauce was a little too sweet for me but great. Rolls - Fresh!
