Sunrise Deli

We just wanted a quick breakfast that we could pick up at the end of our morning walk around DC and this place sounded perfect based on the Yelp ratings. This was another instance where I was very grateful for my fellow Yelpers - this place is tucked inside an office building with no visible signage, so I never would have found it without those tips!It's a tiny little place with a just a couple of people working there. We saw all of the locals there, many of who seemed to be regulars, so we knew we made a good choice. I went for the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on a English muffin while my wife got the bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. These sandwiches definitely lived up to the hype...they were great...and the price was shockingly inexpensive!

The deli is small but the orders moves quickly and Mom working the grill. The food is delicious

Found this spot on Yelp while in town for a college parents weekend. Had to ask several locals as it's VERY hidden. Building faces 13th& L intersection. Literally a mom & pop operation. Cooked to order, affordable, and tasty.

Thanks to other reviews, I found this place fairly easily. What a great little mom and pop spot! The prices are beyond reasonable! I had a sausage egg and cheese on a bagel and home fries. Both were delicious and my total was under $10! Definitely try it out if you're in the area!

This place is really good. I'm in town for a work trip and I've been here before and I didn't know it was here. And it's on k Street which is a little bit confusing cuz the numbers shift up on you but if you can find it get there. It's small. No more than three people can fit in the front waiting area but they have really good food and I had a burrito and it was delicious. I can't recommend it enough.

best breakfast sandwiches!! Love the croissant. It's super affordable at ~$3 for a bec. This place is reminiscent of bodega sandwiches in New York. :) highly recommend

Good and cheap deli that you wouldn't notice on first glance. The sort of neighborhood place that is all over NYC but I don't see much of in DC. Had pastrami, turkey, swiss and coleslaw on rye. All came out to $8.50, and they didn't skimp on the sandwich fillings either. Is it gourmet or top tier juicy pastrami? Of course not. Is it a rock solid lunchtime sandwich at a great price? Absolutely.

Delicious sandwiches with great prices and friendly staff. A great little deli semi-hidden behind a large pillared office building courtyard but they have their own entrance. Highly recommend!

The best little hidden gem with some of the cheapest food I've found in DC. Breakfast for $5 and under? Yes please!
