Sub Stop

I was in the area for an appointment and decided to look on Yelp for a sandwich place. The Sub Stop was a great local place. Three friendly ladies were working. The food was freshly made and good.

The food is delicious!! The best place I ever went, I really recommend! Their sandwiches are good

This was a pleasant sandwich shop slash greasy spoon, and they made me a yummy turkey club sandwich with fries. I plan on coming back for a breakfast sandwich (probably on a day when I visit Home Depot down the block some morning).

1/17/23Second time here and there will be more. I was introduced to this restaurant last Saturday on January 7th. The first thing I ended up trying were the delicious Cheese Danishes. Something I loved eating as a kid.I noticed on the first experience the staff spoken Spanish and some English. The owner spoke English and possibly a few other languages too. I got the idea this is the restaurant of choice for a lot of Contractors coming or going to working.For years I years I have driven by this shop and I always thought it wasn't busy, because it looked empty. I also never saw anyone go inside the building when I drove by, However, looks can be deceiving. I am glad I was wrong about this place. I enjoyed speaking Spanish, but I definitely have a ways to go on my Spanish. As of right now, the ladies are too much for me as far as speaking their native language.I ordered the hotcakes with bacon and hotcakes with eggs for my wife. I found the food delicious. I also bought two Cheese Danishes and two Cherry Danishes. I am not sure when I will be back here, but it will be soon.

Yum Yum and Yummier! Being from NY, it's often hard to find NY Deli style sandwiches outside of the city but BABY... this is the Korean version of the NY Chopped Cheese. The bulgogi hero goes super hard! They lightly toast the bread and dress it ever so lightly with a spicy aioli. It even tastes good when it's not piping hot. Think of it as a Korean Philly Cheese steak. Just yum! Oh, and put some obay on those fries!

This place is a great affordable and delicious option if your in merrifield and need a quick bite. The food comes out quick and it is so good. The service is amazing as well! Everyone who works here is so friendly.Unfortunately, I couldn't take pictures of the food because we gobbled it up as soon as it came, but everything was great. We also always get the danishes. I don't know where they got these from but they're so good they're very moist and have lots of flavor. They don't skimp on that cheese and filling. For breakfast I always get the breakfast burrito and I sub the sausage for turkey bacon. My husband always picks one of the omelette options and also subs with turkey bacon. The omelettes come with potatoes that are cooked perfectly.They have so many snack options lots of milk, options for coffee, and several fridges full of numerous options for drinks.

Went and got a steak and cheese with fries. I would say that the Steak and cheese was not terrible. The bread was nice but for 12 dollars plus it was a small sammich. There wasn't a lot of meat at all. The steak was good enough but needed a lot more for 12 bucks. It desperately needed some crushed red peppers. Why places don't have crush red doesn't make sense. The fries were pretty good. Again, portion was small. For 16.00 plus it wasn't worth it and I doubt I would go back. AL'S steakhouse in Alexandria Va is wildly better. It costs more but the truth is that you can split an Al's Philly steak in half with someone and your good. I could have eaten 2 of substops. The people were nice and all but again. I doubt I would go back

Not a lot of places do chopped cheese and it was on point. I haven't been there that much, but so far food is on point. Price is more than reasonable for the area. Services have been great. Nice little hidden gem around the Merrifield area.

Sandwiches are delicious and quick. They have every soft drink you can imagine, and some extra snacks

The Sub shop is a cute lil mom and pop deli would decent customer service, good food and it's worth a try for lunch. I got the chop cheese with fries and a Italian cold cut. Both were delicious.
