Came here with a reservation for dinner but still waited ~15 min before being seated. Service was great! The server was able to answer questions and give recommendations. Everything we ordered was very good, and I ordered some more bread and tiramisu to take home. Will definitely be back.

Everyone I know raves about this pizza place and I finally was able to try it out!! This is a small space so I see why it is constantly booked. Expect a wait before being seated. If you made a reservation (only for parties of 5-6), then everyone needs to be there first. You get a physical menu but you order everything through a QR code on the table. It is super convenient and the food comes out pretty quickly whenever you add items to your tab. We started off with the rosemary foccacia and the house salad. The salad was flavorful with peaches and blue cheese. The rosemary focaccia was pretty small but enough for 4 people. They do not give you olive oil, so you have to add that to your tab for extra if you need it. Now for the main reason we were here, the pizzas! We got the stracci and stracci Bianca. Stracci Bianca was a white pizza with no sauce but had the homemade stracciatella cheese. The Stracci had delicious tomato base with basil and the same straciatella cheese. We ended up getting a third pizza, the stracci with added hot honey and Calabrian chili, and boy that hit the spot!! Perfection!! I see why this place has such a prominent reputation. I will be back again and this time only try the pizzas with the tomato base because that was a real winner in my opinion.Oh, I almost forgot, I also tried the tiramisu! YUMM. You cannot go wrong with it but there are so many desserts on the menu that I have no doubt that they are all delish.

A bunch of our friends and neighbors continuously raved about Stracci pizza so I was totally intrigued. We went in on a week night and the place was surprisingly packed, both indoors and on the patio. But once we started eating, we understood why. Their buratta salad is one of the best I've ever tasted. I can tell each pizza is made with a lot of care because every bite was perfect. There was just the perfect amount of sauce and toppings on the pizzas. I am now one of those neighbors who tell others to go to Stracci Pizza.

This is an amazing pizza spot and very unique in the area! We have been several times and have never been disappointed by any of our visits. The pizzas kind of look small but they definitely creep up on you. The dough is SO fresh and soft and the toppings are always great. I love that they have seasonal and weekly specials too. During some of their summer months they have this crazy chocolate dessert with the best cherries. It's not always on the menu but if you see it, definitely order it! Service is always fast and friendly too even if there's a wait.

We came here on one of the hottest days of this last summer. We had heard that they have great pizza. So we got there before it opened to wait in line for a table because we heard the tables get filled quickly. When we got there, there was already a sizable line. We waited in the heat hoping we'd make it to a table. By the time we got to the front, they were already out of tables inside. They offered a table outside in front of the restaurant. Since we went there with our daughter, and we had waited in line, we accepted the table. The space was small with only a few tables. It looked like a makeshift area to accommodate a few more people. I was so hot, i was uncomfortable during the entire meal. We ordered a few items to share before the pizza: the salad, the chicken liver mousse and the meatballs. The meatballs were nice and tender. The salad had a lot going on with blue cheese, lots of nuts and some strawberries tossed in. I usually don't like a lot of cheese or nuts on my salad, but there was only one salad on the menu. It was lightly dressed, which I liked. We liked the chicken liver mousse the best. It was tasty, and it's an item we'd order again. We ordered The Johnny 'Za 'Za pizza. It was on the smaller side. The crust was crispy, but we didn't think it or the pizza overall was that flavorful. Thus we didn't think it worthwhile to order more. Nothing really stood out about the pizza, and it left us wondering why this place is so popular. As for the service, honestly, I was so focused on how hot I was the entire time, I'm not so sure how it was. I'm sure the pizza couldn't come out fast enough for me. I did think the tables were a bit close together. You could hear everyone's conversations as if they were sitting at your table. I do remember seeing the server out there at least once, but I can't remember if she came to our table to check on us or if she was just at the table next to us. When I asked my husband his opinions of the place, his reaction was pretty much like mine. It was so hot, he couldn't remember a lot of details. Most likely we will not be returning. There are many better pizza places to go, even in VA. Not even considering the heat, the outside tables out front didn't give a pleasant vibe. They felt like an after thought.

Every time I come here it's a great experience! I try to get here by 5:30, because otherwise spots fill up inside quick, especially with it being colder now. I typically order a cocktail and a specialty pizza right away. QR codes available but servers are around to introduce the menu, clear your table, and answer any questions. Lovely place and honestly one of my favorites that I discovered in 2024. Can't wait to be back!

The hype about this place is pretty real. All the stuff about being the best in Northern Virginia might be true. We've been twice and each time its been worth it. Parking is kind of tough, probably better to stick to street if you can.Their online ordering system is a little different than most. They limit the amount of orders per time slot so you have to order earlier sometimes. We had tried a little bit of everything. We got the crudo (amberjack at the time), the focaccia, The Erminia, The Johnny 'Za 'Za, and the Tiramisu. They put finishing touches on your pizza when you check in which is a nice touch. Not a lot of waiting space inside but the staff are super nice. Both of our pizzas were very good. Not too heavy but topped well. The crusts were just how i like them. Crisp but fluffy. The Johnny 'Za 'Za was our favorite because of the sausage and a good amount of stracciatella. The focaccia was some of the best I've had anywhere in the area. The crudo tasted bright and fresh. The Tiramisu was a decent size and not too sweet. Our next visit I made sure to get a lot more focaccia and we also tried the Brooklyner that had Calabrian Chili, Honey and Pepperoni which was also really good.Definitely worth a trek out and it also looks like it would be a great date night spot too. Great vibe inside the restaurant.

As a self-proclaimed pizza aficionado (transplant from NJ), I'm incredibly picky about my pizza. Stracci Pizza is a gem that truly impressed me! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked Roman-style pizza. Their crust is the perfect combination of crispy and delightfully chewy, toppings are always fresh, and their sauce is well balanced. But what really sets Stracci Pizza apart is their weekly special...the chef creates an incredible pizza using seasonal ingredients, and it's always a culinary delight. Each week's special showcases unique, fresh flavors that elevate the entire pizza experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Plus, their selection of local craft beers pairs beautifully with their pizzas. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Stracci Pizza delivers a top-notch experience. It's clear that a lot of care and passion go into every dish. As someone who's very particular about pizza, I can't wait to come back!

Stracci's amazed me. They're only open for about 3 to 4 hours every day except for two days out of the week and every time I go past there they're always packed. So I had to try them and it did not disappoint at all. The small house on the corner they turned into a very cozy and comforting pizza spot. The staff was very friendly and nice and even recommended some good picks from the menu. I will say they do not seat unless your whole party is there and they do fill up fast. Don't park across the street because you will be towed. Try to find parking a block over.

January dry cocktail menu was exactly what I want all restaurants to do for their mocktail program. It was empowering to have mocktails that tasted complex instead of like sugar. Pizza and appetizers were phenomenal.
