Cute little butcher/deli/market nestled between beautiful homes in Georgetown.Small, but really high quality goods. Grabbed a turkey sandwich, chips and some local ice cream sandwiches. Great place to grab a picnic on a warm day and take to the park.

Obviously the best quality meat and product. Nothing beats their ingredient quality. I greatly enjoyed my roast beef sandwich and the portion is incredible. Lovely shop as well. They are a corner shop with a nice layout. Inside, they sell top notch products and shop-curated foods. Service was very friendly and quick. Will definitely keep visiting!

Was dying to try this place since I saw it on Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix. While on a trip to DC, went into the cool Georgetown area. This is a corner shop in a pretty neighborhood. The young guy at the counter was friendly, service is really important to me. I ordered the grinder sandwich. It's huge, a great value and delicious! Its on really good bread, loaded with meat, cheese and veggies. It took me two meals to finish it. Can't find anything like this back home in Honolulu.Bonus: Jamie, the owner that was on Feed Phil, walked in and took a pic w me at my request. He was really nice and made the visit all the more memorable.

Stachowski's Market is a great neighborhood shop with a wide meat, sandwich and ingredient selection. It's a small but mighty deli. The sandwich prices are skyrocket high but, I guess, it's Georgetown and the portions are ginormous. Just check out the grinder size compared to my hand... It's big enough for three people! We grabbed duck sausages to try the next morning, too. I was pleasantly surprised - tasty and unique. The people seemed friendly. I wish there were seats or somewhere to eat inside. Otherwise, solid spot.

Their sub sandwich is bomb. It's been awhile since I had it, but I think it was a turkey and cheese , and it was great. My Cousin referred me to them. They are pricey, but very good authentic delicatessen vibe.

Pastrami heaven! Omg you have to order the pastrami sandwich here. This market was featured on the DC episode of, " Somebody Feed Phil", so I personally flagged it and put it on my list while vacationing in DC. It was located in beautiful Georgetown, on the corner of a block. Street parking was available up to 2 hours. The market had a small produce selection, refreshments, deli items/snacks, a butcher, and fresh made specials of the day, sandwiches, and soups. We immediately ordered the pastrami sandwiches, $23.99 each. Each sandwich was wrapped in butcher paper x2. The sandwich was a masterpiece- THICK cuts of pastrami (not fatty or overly salty) on double sliced pumpernickel, and mustard. Simple!!! But sooooo good. Mind you, we had not eaten all day because of our busy schedule, and this one sandwich was enough for 2 meals, or easily could be shared amongst 2 people. We ate a half for dinner and the other half for lunch the next day. It also came with a pickle, but I didn't care for this one too much. Check them out! You won't regret it.

I have been searching for a hot pastrami sandwich in the DMV for a while. After a Google search, I found Stachowski's. After reading the reviews and seeing a pictures of their pastrami sandwich, I made the 40 minute drive from my house to give it a try. It was phenomenal! I don't think I could put into words how good it was. Not only massive, enough for 3 half sandwiches. Tender and so flavorful, with just the right amount of fatty pieces. The spicy mustard was just right and the pickles were great. Shared this with my partner who was equally impressed and she doesn't even eat pastrami. Customer service was great. Will definitely be back.

If you're looking for a good Deli in DC, this is the spot! They have a big variety of different meat, cheeses, and more! Their menu is very delicious and big portion sized. Highly recommend sharing. I got a grinder sandwich. I do recommend asking for the bread to be toasted and maybe adding a bit of mayo. But besides that it's delicious! Customer service is great. Also heard great things about the pastrami sandwich! Will have to try that next time!

Stachowski's is a cute little Italian style deli tucked away in Georgetown. The place itself is very small, and there is no option to dine in, so you order and go. Which I personally really liked that we could just go in and shop around a little bit and then take our sandwiches to go picnic. No one tells you the sandwich is the size of a small child. I got the signature 4 meat grinder and it was HEAVY. Heavily delicious! The sandwich was absolutely amazing despite the need to unhinge your jar in order to take a full bite. They even included this little cup of vinaigrette to add! Overall I'd go back and try the entire menu! Everything about this sandwich & experience was a 10/10!

Of comparable Deli, Grocery, and Butchers, Georgetown's Stachowski's Market is the best in its class. I'll speak now to the pastrami fans that I believe Stachowski's hot pastrami sandwich is better than those of NYC's famed Katz Delicatessen (hot take?!). Thick sliced pastrami, deli mustard, and firm but flavorful pumpernickel. The simple decadence of the sandwich is aided by its sturdy construction - packing it with a third slice of pumpernickel keeps the sandwich from becoming soggy while you find a local bench, table, or park to eat at. A few blocks off of Georgetown's main street, menu items from Stachowski's Market fill the quiet air with loud flavor. Expect quick service with multiple ordering stations, as all butchers seem to double as cashiers. I appreciate that Stachowki's doesn't allow you to alter menu items - no substitutions or half sizes - trust them! Although this review focuses most on their signature hot pastrami, all of their butcher's meat selections look fresh and the market provides a lot of locally sourced items and unique options.
