Visited SPS Cuisine at their new location at Hideaway in Clinton, MD. You order your food at the bar from the SPS staff. While you wait you can enjoy your time at hideaway. They have a full bar, juke box and pool tables. I ordered the SPS basket with Zerk(sweet jerk) wings, steak and cheese egg rolls and fries. The food came out fresh and full of flavor. The egg rolls were my favorite, seasoned well and provolone instead of American! I will def return to check out more items!

I want to preface this by saying it is never my intention to tear down any business, especially a small business (I have only left one yelp before - ever. *because I only do so when warranted). But I feel OBLIGATED to share my experience because it was just that bad. This catering "business" was an absolute NIGHTMARE to work with. Hands down, the WORST catering food ever in both presentation and taste. It was literally like we were being punk'd aka this has to be a joke when we opened the pans and saw the food given to us. Most dishes were not even put out to our guests because they were down right inedible. Imagine our surprise when we found out the week of our event, essentially we were catfished and getting a different chef's food (not Shaun) that was nowhere remotely close to the pictures that have been advertised. We booked with "SP's Cuisine" for a milestone birthday party that was executed perfectly -- aside from the food! It is very clear that they did not have the capacity to service us as the "chef" who prepared this food advised he had a wedding and additional event to do, he said he was doing the person who messed up on scheduling a "favor" by squeezing us in. After the 'chef' found out the food was an absolute disaster, he admitted that he didn't check the food before dropping it off to us at all - he delegated everything to his staff to do and said himself out of his own mouth when he saw the pictures that it was "disgusting" and claims to have fired his staffers. I told them I would have rather they just been honest with us and canceled the booking because they did not have time even if it was 1 day before and we could have made other arrangements instead of being served disgusting rushed frozen foods. For reference, we requested (*paid for*) steak and cheese egg rolls (see picture -- the 'chef' admitted they were frozen and baked, clearly these are not handmade egg rolls based on the size, we didn't bother to serve to our guests as they were soggy & tasteless -- there was another pan of 'egg rolls' which had a mystery meat), crab egg rolls (which we were notified the week of they "couldn't do" although that's a menu item that they said they could initially) - they replaced our requested crab egg rolls with mini crab cakes that were falling apart, some sort of bland, garlic shrimp that we didn't ask for (which was a half pan although we ordered full pans), meatballs (that were clearly store bought frozen and just slapped with bbq sauce -- they were also massive in size), fried chicken (chef advised he decided to "bake some" due to time constraints, fried chicken was over salted and soggy, it was 3 different types of chicken threw into a pan which I wouldn't be surprised were just ordered from different places and called it a day), a fruit tray with no presentation at all (hence the green leaves of the strawberries still on). There are not enough words to describe how infuriating it has been going back and forth with this company. We told them the night of our event that it was unacceptable and inedible what was provided, more than half the food ended up in the TRASH. A complete waste of money. We spoke with Josh throughout this entire interaction which is the person who scheduled us and invoiced us - quick to process a payment but has been beating a dead horse trying to get a refund from. I spoke with Josh on several occasions via text and phone calls and he put on a facade that he is "dedicated to making this right" "truly apologetic" etc. just to send $150 via Zelle then ghost us after (mind you - we discussed a 50% refund of $432.50 because we paid this company $865). I have never heard of a business having to send a refund in installments. I requested for Josh to provide me contact information for Shaun who I assume is the owner or anyone else above him - which never happened. I believe this was an error he made which he was trying to hide or brush under the rug without whoever the real owner of this business is finding out, because I'm confused as to why the $150 was processed via Zelle vs the original payment method on Square. I have never heard of a legitimate business processing a refund through a different channel. Josh told me that this has caused them a "hardship" - if you do not as a business have adequate funds to refund customers in scenarios such as this it is time to revisit your planning as a business. I have been kind enough to try to give them time to rectify before posting a review but seeing as now we have been gaslit and ghosted, I have been left with no choice. I'm disgusted with the way this entire encounter was handled and rest assured will not recommend them to anyone I know.To sum this up, if you'd like to spend nearly $900 on frozen food you can heat in an oven yourself, help yourself! Do yourself a favor and do not book with them.
