Talk about lit! If you're looking for somewhere to watch your favorite team, look no further. DMV teams are usually on the big screen but other games are on the other tvs throughout the bar. Wings are great! Drinks are strong. And the music is dance worthy! You definitely won't want to leave honestly.

Football season, means venturing to bar venues that have T.V's. We ventured to NW DC to Sports & Social DC. We walk in and it's super empty. Cool deal for us! Well, maybe not. The host asks if we have a reservation, we say no, she states that all the tables are reserved but the bar is open. Score! I like sitting at the bar anyway. We walk to the bar and the chairs are so close together, a cute little reminder that COVID days are over. They packed way too many chairs at the bar, super uncomfortable. We squeeze into the bar and get greeted by our bartender. She was super sweet, friendly and kind.Brunch menu was limited.DJ was loud, loud.Commanders game wasn't a focus (yes I know they haven't been good in 30 years but they were good this past season) which was odd considering this place is in DC. No Commanders love but as soon as we asked them to change the channel, they did. Our whole entire visit, the reserved tables stayed empty. Sigh. Let's get Into it! Chicken and waffle with a side of scrambled eggs. Yummy but did not meet expectations, the chicken could have used more seasoning. Wings were good but pricey.Drinks were good! Wouldn't return because of the weird reservation situation and super loud DJ.We came, we tried. We conquered.

In short, Sports & Social is an upscale sports bar with a bunch of tv's and a Dj. Always down for a new experience, I picked this spot after a few Yelp buds checked-in and it looked cool.Traveling to U Street from Brandywine to watch football is a commitment to say the least. We walked in around 12:40 and the place was relatively empty. The hostess advised that all the tables were reserved and that we could sit at one of the two empty bars.. Lol! We chose the back empty bar because it had the larger TV. Our server was great but the menu was extremely limited when comparing it to similar establishments like TOM'S Watch Bar. It was Sunday Brunch time so at least they had a few additional items. My girl chose the chicken and waffles which was really good while I just ordered the six piece wings for $14. When in the hell did wings get so damn expensive.. Sheesh! The Cinnamon Smoked Old Fashions were very good so two thumbs up to the bartender! In conclusion, we were a bit underwhelmed so we made a break at halftime and headed to another location to finish the 2nd half. I will say the crowd did pick up and looked to be close to capacity by the time we left. If I lived closer I'd probably return but since I don't, I'll let the locals have this one!

I have visited this location multiple times - the restaurant staff are great, the food is consistently delicious and the interior in fresh, clean and perfect for joining friends to watch a game. Out table loved the cheese curds and a custom cocktail to reminisce over.

I came here to watch the March Madness games and of course It was packed! I was able to snag 2 seats at the bar after 15 min. The bartender who tended to us first was Shaun. I didn't like the attitude she gave me when I asked her a question. The sarcastic tone and what she said threw me off and I almost called her out of her name. She fixed our first drinks which were bad. Also, she never asked if I was ok or needed anything but she continually checked on the guy who I came with. We ended up talking to the other bartender on duty and she was pleasant, very helpful and her drinks were way better. The food was subpar. I didn't really expect much from a sports bar. The flatbread was sweet like they drizzled honey or something on It. The garlic wings were pretty decent. I ordered a whiskey sidecar which was great from the second bartender. The ambiance is chill. You can go with a group of friends and just vibe out on a regular day.

We went here for DC Cocktail Week. What a time we had! The food was excellent, the staff was very courteous, and the general manager was very attentive and made sure that the experience was one to bring us back. Even on busy U Street, the place had an intimate feel to it. Great ambiance!

Came here for a friend who had VIP section in the back by the bar. We were able to watch the Olympics and baseball. 2 of my favorite things. The tenders were amazing! The wings were good but next time I will try a different flavor as the zesty garlic was strong but good. The drinks were sweet just how I like them but with a good amount of tequila. The staff was friendly. I would go back again.

This was my first Sports & Social visit. We made reservations with 4 adults + 2 kids for the Euro Final Spain vs England. Our server started off very strong, but then disappeared for 20 minutes at a time even before it got super busy. However, she was very kind and sweet, and we loved her personality. The food was what you would expect bar food wise, and a bit overpriced as expected. We enjoyed the cheese curds, the soft pretzel with cheese, and the cauliflower bites were A-OK. This is not a great spot if you're vegetarian, you'll have a few snack items you can enjoy, and nothing if you're vegan except for fries, mixed greens, rice, green beans. The ambiance for the game is what I give the highest praise. I think this is a lovely spot to watch a game, and the energy was great!

I haven't been to a Sports & Social since I moved away from home. This is a place I frequented as a college student. While on U street, my date and I decided to stop here. The only seats open at the bar were in the front door and as far left as you could go. In short, we had AMAZING services and good food, but the temperature in the building may have been 1 degree short of hell.We actually would have stayed longer that day, but it was actually hotter inside, than it was outside in the direct sun. I actually felt bad for the employees and the working conditions. Several other patrons at the bar also commented on how hot it was. We stayed maybe a total of 20 minutes and packed our food to-go. Our bartender (so sad I can't remember his name), was super cute, personable and friendly. We realized happy hour was ending soon and not only did he ensure we got our order in before, but also upsold us on several items I'm not sure we really even wanted or needed. He was working hard to make us happy and Sports & Social. He was in no way pushy on the upselling, just super informative and complementary of items. We got wings, drinks, and nachos. I would only ever go back if the temperature was adjusted. It was unbearable as a guest and unimaginable for employees.
