A fairly small grocery and limited supply store, but if you come here, you already know what you're coming here for. I was specifically coming here to get some rolls and fish cutlets. I can't get enough of them and when I get the cravings, I just go all out and buy a bunch. They only have food available to buy from Friday to Sunday. They have a buffet type offering on Saturday lunch too. Not too much seating, but I cannot think of another Sri Lankan place to visit in the immediate area so this place does supply a niche audience. The parking lot is pretty empty most of the day so I doubt you will have problems finding a spot. The people here are nice and friendly and I have not had any issues.

With lots of hard to find, Sri Lankan goodies and treats this is a unique grocery and caterer of Sri Lankan cuisine right here in Montgomery County Maryland!Hot, crispy meat or veggie patties, cutlets and rolls. Cooked to order and if you're early enough, fresh from the kitchen to the warmer on the counter.Try it, you'll like it!

Not a bad store when you need to find something. The bulk of the businesses catering but they do have appetizers on the ready during the day I recommend going in the afternoon.

Excellent food especially their Patties (chicken, fish)! Beef rotti and other specials available over weekends really hit the spot. Always stock up on Patties, mutton and chicken lamprais, mutton or fish rolls and unique Sri Lankan groceries. Make sure to get cans of Ginger beer to pair with the yummy food.

Ate the lunch box of spicy chicken with sri lankan fried rice (with bits of scrambled eggs in the fried basmati rice). So damn GOOD!!!!! Also, ate another fish roll the last one of the six that we got and it it was just as good cold as it was hot and that's a huge compliment! My wife and I have been talking about this place daily since we tried it on Sunday. We are planning to go back and get more of the rice packs wrapped in banana leaves. They were so amazing as beyond belief. Also, another note we bought some Swiss roll chocolate cake type Swiss roll from them and they were really good too. My wife didn't like as much as me but I'm a chocolate person.

When I was in Maryland this month I bought a bag of curry powder and a bag of chili powder here, because I had been wanting to try something from a Sri Lankan cookbook and we in Boston can't get the real spices here. (Though if anyone _does_ know where the real stuff is here, please let me know). Wow. Both may be the hottest spices I've ever tasted. And so much flavor. I cannot wait to start using them. They also have take out. I had a dinner engagement later that day so I couldn't get a full meal, but I did have a chicken roll. Delicious. The store has all the standard Indian subcontinent rice, beans, flour, et cetera. Not a big grocery, a small store in a strip mall, but they have what you need. The next time I'm anywhere near Washington I'm going there again, and this time will have everything from the hot table.

If you're looking for a unique new cuisine to try, this lovely local Sri Lankan grocer will let you call in advance and order an authentic staple dish called Kottu Roti for carry out. We called on a Friday and asked for 5 chicken kottu rotis for dinner the next night and sure enough, they made them hot just for us. It's like a better version of fried rice, but with chopped buttery roti bread instead of rice (because "kottu" literally means "chopped"). I don't think you can get this dish anywhere else in the area. You can thank me later. Very grateful to the owners for accommodating our craving for a delicious Sri Lankan meal!

Can't get better Sri Lankan food in the area. As close to Ceylon home cooking as you can get at a store or restaurant.
