I've gotten the Hang Lay curry with sticky rice twice, and I've had the Khao Soi here.I love this place. The ambiance is modern and nice. Service is fine. Prices are average for the area. I'm glad this place is here because the other food establishments around Foggy Bottom are uninspiring.

We met our nephew here for dinner since this was his recommendation for us visitors. It is a very nice space and it was pretty quiet on a Tuesday evening - not sure we needed the reservation.We started with their tropical drinks - the painkiller was very good but small for the price (no surprise for DC). We started with the Goon Pro, grilled shrimp which was nice with a small bit of heat. Two of us ordered the Gang Hang Lay - roasted pork belly in a a curry sauce it was tasty and reasonably priced. The third member of our party got the Pad Thai and liked the different preparation. A solid review.The presentation on all of the dishes was great - not your typical Asian restaurant.The service was a bit odd - at the beginning pushing us to order then pretty much disappearing beyond delivering food. When we were done eating she cleared the plates and then dropped the bill on the table without asking if we wanted dessert or coffee.Plenty to recommend here.

As we prepared for a weekend in DC, this was the first stop upon arrival. We made a reservation to be safe. The time we entered was not busy, but as we started to wrap up more people were coming. It was also a holiday weekend so I would suggest making a reservation. The interior is very grown and relaxed. Perfect for a date night, wink wink! Service was excellent as well. We were seated and cared for quickly. Now the food.... WOW! So flavorful. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and there's care and love in the cooking. While it was all delicious the dipping sauce with the peanuts ! Definitely going back!

Went back to grab a quick meal before a play at a nearby theater. The food has always been consistent every visit. This visit we had the pad Thai, ground chicken kra prow, Tom yum soup and ginger chicken. Service was quick and friendly. It was super busy but not overly busy considering the weekend.

This is the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand! The flavors are amazing and the food is soooo good. The decor just adds to the experience with giant golden designs painted on the walls both in the dining room and the bathrooms. The service was very attentive and receptive to changes in the spice level. There's a reason this restaurant is recommended by Michelin... and it's well earned!

When we visited this restaurant for dinner, we were promptly greeted and seated by attentive staff. The venue had a warm, relaxing vibe with some class. The food was delicious and nicely prepared/presented. I definitely would recommend this place if you're in the mood for some great Thai cuisine.

I had a really nice meal here with a friend. She's gluten-free and I'm vegan and they had options for both of us. The ambience is nice. It's quiet. It's a little bit darker with a nice mood. The menu is pretty extensive and worked for both of us. The service was very kind and questions were all answered. The food was delicious with a nice presentation. We spent some time visiting after the meal and did not feel rushed. Water was always filled which was a nice tough. I look forward to coming again when I'm visiting DC.

Sometimes you wonder what some other Yelpers are thinking. Because this place is a five star place. I stopped in for lunch. Cool vibe and sat near the bar area. Service was quick and friendly with water glasses refilled quickly. I just ordered the Kai prow and it came just as I love this dish with just enough spice to make the minced chicken shine. And not too heavy on the sauce too. A winner.

Food quality and service are awesome! Beautiful restaurant, nice seating! I ordered the grilled half chicken and it was amazing. I can't find any other Thai restaurant that have the same quality.
