So Gong Dong Tofu is my go-to spot when I'm craving Korean food, especially on a cold day. Their tofu soup is incredibly flavorful - I usually get the seafood option, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh, likely sourced straight from the H Mart seafood section. The meal typically comes with three side dishes: cucumber kimchi, cabbage kimchi, and bean sprouts. All three are well-seasoned, and complement the soup perfectly. If you're looking for comforting, authentic Korean food, this spot never disappoints!

Offer variety of selections. A bit pricier than other food courts in the area but the portion is very generous.

We got the LA Galbi with rice , soup, and banchan( kimchi and jangajji)). So good! Loved the scallions on top of the Galbi ! Located in the food court in HMART!The meal was pretty well balanced as the side dishes fresh, crispness, and pickle flavor was complimentary to the fatty/ buttery Galbi. Galbi also came off the bone pretty easily. It's cafeteria style sit in the food court or take it to go.Service was quick and the cashier was very friendly!Would recommend for a quick bite and will be back again!

I've been craving silken tofu soup (soondubu jjigae) since I've moved to DC several months ago and finally got my fix. Simple but tasty. My boyfriend friend ordered the tofu soup with noodles and it was humongous. I'll stick to my bowl of rice, thank you.Great flavors and super friendly young dude working the register. Props to the tasty free banchan they give you (pickled cucumbers and bean sprouts).

2nd time trying this place. I have been to the Super H but did not realise there are some restaurants (food court) on one side if the store. We had the Seafood pancake (my favorite type). We had the Bibimbab with mixed rice, assorted vegtables, and a sunny side egg ($16.95. Comes with several sides. Was very delicious. I had the kalbi (marinated short ribs) absolutely loved them. Comes with rice, kimchi, bean sprouts. Overall one of my favorite places

My husband ordered this for dinner. It was a really big portion. He had it for two meals. They definitely gave you a lot of noodles! The soup was a little too salty for me though...

3/3/20This past Friday we went to check out the Korean Market and get something to eat here. I have a feeling we will be making this a weekly thing. The young lady who took our orders was very informative about the various dishes. Since I despise spicy food, she told me about the foods to stay away from or things could go badly for me.The food I ordered was delicious, but I can't remember the name of the dish I got right now. Hopefully the photos will tell you what it is.During our meal, we got the pleasure of hearing a Ms. Rozee who is a singer and song writer and creative director. She looked familiar to me, but can't remember where we have met before. Her information is in the pictures I have provided. Eating and watching live entertainment is a great experience. I hope to see this again next Friday.

I've eaten here several times now, finishing each meal with a happy belly. I tend to go for the kimchi soondubu which comes with beef. If you have it with ramen, the broth seems to be a little thinner than the traditional style in the pot without ramen. That version is a little heartier, and served with rice so it just depends what kind of mood you're in. The seafood pancake and kimchi pancake is delicious. Perfect crisp. I also enjoy the banchan served with the dishes. This past time I was enjoying my meal, the older gentleman working at the counter yelled across to ask if I needed or wanted anymore banchan. So sweet of him! I did not resist, and had some extra pickled chayote and cucumbers. Hope you enjoy it too!

a.k.a. So Gong Dong Tofu & BBQWe tried 3 Tofu noodle soups ($11.99) of various spice levels & 3 different types of Hot Stone Bibimbop ($14.99). Tofu Noodle Soups need a bit more flavor than just red chili pepper flakes. Perhaps we should've just ordered the Tofu Soups which were cheaper. Bibimbop is on the pricey side. However, presentations were nice & can't complain about the taste. The restaurant needs to work on getting it organized. Whoever does the last minute thing, each of us had a side dish missing or someone had sprinkles of sesame seeds vs none. The reasons I can't give perfect score aren't really in their control. I didn't like that we had hard time finding a parking spot, a table & chairs to eat at, and it's very noisy.

Pay extra 4 dollars for seafood and get two small shrimps and two tiny clams. Cost of seafood is the least expensive among all protein now a day. The cost of two shrimps and clams is not even more than two dimes, that's 5 percent of food cost at best. The cost of food in a Michelin star restaurant is about 10 to 15 percent. I always think you charge what you should charge, earn what you should earn, but definitely not this restaurant and its owner, very disappointed.
