4.5 stars.I had the chance to visit while at a team event at Robin Hill Farm & Vineyards. Despite the reports that this business is closed, it clearly is not.As this was an all day event, I started with a side of fries before the wine tasting. The fries were fresh, hot and crispy, but could have benefited from some salt and pepper if available. They were also $10, but other dishes were not ready yet, so not much choice.Later in the day, I got a smoked brisket combo with mac & cheese, and BBQ baked beans. It was a sunny summer day, so the outside temperature was in the low 90s...so inside the trailer (not a traditional food truck as in DC/VA as trailers are permitted in MD), the temperature had to be well over 100. Definitely feel for the staff, but they served orders with a smile. The combo itself was good - with promise of greatness - but not quite there. First, the mac & cheese - cheesy with soft macaroni pasta as you should expect . It had the right consistency and flavor balance without too much salt of cheese flavor. Second, the beans - a medley of beans, peppers, onions and homemade BBQ sauce...sweet, mildly spicy with a vinegar base. Finally, the brisket - cooked to perfection, but lacking any flavor from the dry rub. Paired with the homemade BBQ sauce, it was damn good...but just okay without. The disappointing aspect being that the meat was not even warm. With an outside temperature in the 90s, I would have expected something above room temperature...but okay.Anyway, solid...but has room for improvement!

Not sure why this page says closed, perhaps this business was closed at some point, but they're very much open now! Given the pandemic, one can certainly understand.Had this delicious BBQ today while visiting the Robin Hill Winery in Brandywine. My friend and I really enjoyed our meals from here. I got the chicken (soooo good) with two sides: mac n cheese (amazing) and string beans (was ok). My friend had the brisket with mac n cheese and baked beans! He loved it!Customer service was great. Very friendly and engaging employees. I'm not sure if this business has a brick and motar but I'm following their IG page so I can know where they'll be next because I want more!!!

I came to talk about the fish. Had food from this vendor out of their food truck at the sandlot earlier this week and when I say this was the best whiting I've ever had... first, the pieces were huge and very meaty. They cook it fresh to order so my fish was so fresh and hot I couldn't even pick it up for a long period of time. It was perfectly tender and flavorful, but the skin was still perfectly crispy. On top of all that I didn't get a bone until I got to my third piece. I will 100% be trying this place for the BBQ soon. Service was also great, quick, and pleasant.

Their food truck came to my employer earlier this week. I ordered a lunch combo of beef brisket which came with two sides ( baked beans and mac & cheese) for $10. While waiting for my order apparently there was a mix up. Not sure if someone else got my order so I had to wait a bit longer for them to prepare it. The beef brisket was outta this world. It was so tender and moist. The edges had a slight layer of fat which was just the perfect amount. This is by far the best brisket I have ever had. I am having a hankering for it as I write this. The mac & cheese was creamy and was piping hot. I had to blow on it to cool it. Unfortunately they got my beans wrong. They gave me green beans instead of baked beans. The beans were just average. I was disappointed I didn't get the baked beans but it wasn't worth going back in long especially since I had to get back to work.If it wasn't for the two mistakes I would have given them a five as the food is phenomenal.

So the rain finally went away at least for today on this very nice hot Sunday! I have been wanting these ribs allllll this week.It's been 3 years, or will be Thursday of next week, but anywho 3 YEARS! And I'm still a fan. You can never go wrong when the food is great and the customer service is excellent.Smoke stack is now conveniently located across the street from the #Census Bureau.... Lunch anyone? Right down the street from the Suitland Metro Station. They are in the old Rite Aid parking lot as if you weren't able to follow the delicious smell. A great location to pick up dinner on your way home.There is ample parking as there's an entire private parking lot. Easily Metro accessible.New loyalty program where your food could be free! Stop by, have a great meal and enjoy!

Hands down, best BBQ I've had on the east coast since moving here from Texas in 2007. They do brisket so right. Dat bark doh. The beans... WHAT?!?!?! They're full of black pepper and sweet vinegary bbq sauce that punches your saliva glands right in the face. And smoke on everything!!! The cabbage, the beans, the ribs, and the chicken. I'll be hunting these guys down wherever they're setup. Also had the pulled pork sandwich. Ahh-freakin-mazing too.

My apt complex has been having food trucks come to our apt for the past few weeks and this was one of them. My husband loves bbq, so we had to order. I got the catfish with baked beans and the green beans. My husband had a rib dinner with baked beans and mac 'n cheese. As soon as I got the food into the apt and opened the box, the apt was immediately filled with the most delicious smell!! Everything was wonderful. Catfish seasoned and fried to perfection. And the baked beans were AMAZING! I usually don't eat baked beans because I find most to be too sweet (I know, I know, that's the point of them, right lol). But these were amazing. They had a good amount of sweetness, but also a bit of vinegar to cut through. Loved them! My husband enjoyed his ribs and the mac. I don't eat dairy (I know), but I sampled the mac and the smoke flavor was divine! They were perfectly cheesy for me. My husband said he wished they were cheesier, but still enjoyed them. Oh! And my husband ordered a pulled pork sandwich, which he ate the following day. Again, it smelled delicious and he said it was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches he'd ever had out here. I sampled a bit and I can concur. Delicious! Definitely hope they come back to VA for a visit! Would love to order again!

Wings were delicious took about 10mins, few things that bother me in their food truck they didn't keep their masks on, weren't wearing gloves, drinking wine...

I had this door dashed, it was the first time having bbq from here. OMG when I say that this was some of the best bbq.. you will not regret. Also make sure you get the collards, green beans and Mac & cheese
