I was walking, exercise, headed to go get some Doubles and or try Pholourie for the first time when I noticed Sing Long. I had passed Sing Long before and it never called my attention. Thinking that I have had Doubles before, I would prefer Pholourie while not rolling sol and Sing Long accepts cards, I dipped in.With the limit for card usage being 6 dollars I order 4 wings with fries and mumbo sauce. That came up to $6.60 or $6.50 and I sat down to wait. As I was waiting, a man came from the back to mop the floor. Points for that because that is not a common sight in a carryout.After about 3 minutes I came back in and it seemed like just as I was sitting down my order was ready. The last two Carryouts I visited, Jacky Chan and George's took longer with my orders with one less wing. I think they had the wings done and just dropped them again. I couldn't see in the back for the bulletproof glass, not that I'd want to. It is what it is.I must say, my food was fairly decent. The lady who took my order listened to what I said to a T. I say this because I forgot to ask for the mumbo sauce on everything and it was only on the wings only. I guess I should have checked my order before I left but I was hungry. Cool.I give Sing Long 3 stars. I enjoyed it more than George's but I am not in a rush to return. I wasn't wowed.

I wouldn't recommend eating here except for the fried chicken wings. And even then those are just average. The rice is sadly overcooked, the broccoli is overcooked and soggy, and the shrimp seems dry, dry, dry. I also think the condiments like soy sauce is past expiration. I wouldn't eat here. Also, I think the health department or maybe even GORDON RAMSAY himself should take a look at all the problems at this place. Very bad place to eat.

I can't in good faith give 5 stars even though I want to. The chicken teriyaki was awful. Literally a brick. I could stir a drink with it. The. Egg rolls have like nothing in them... I didn't know people could be cheap with cabbage... And, the delivery person was so rude. Other than that, they took my picky order down perfectly, the food was nice, and I don't have a tummy issue the next day... So, great.

I highly recommend this carryout. First of all the lady is very nice. I bring my mother here at least once a month because she likes their combination chow mein amongst other foods. On top of the food being good, you can ask them for whatever over and over and over and over again and they will do so without hesitation. Unlike many other carry outs that charge extra for mamba sauce, they will give you as much as you want without question and with a smile. As a Washington native and have experienced many carryout through this city and surrounding area who charge extra and have a bad attitude. Makes me feel good to come here where someone appreciates my money and gives great customer service.

Granted, I shouldn't be ordering Chinese at 10:30pm. But Scandal was on, and it was a weeknight of indulgences. So there I was, ordering via Seamless. Scandal ends at 11, and I call to check on my food. "15 more minutes," he says.And then comes 11:45. I call. "He's on Park Road." Which, mind you, is in Columbia Heights and I'm way up at Van Ness. So, not close. Nonetheless, food arrives at midnight. Everything I ordered is in the bag (1st star). It's hot (2nd star).But the Kung Pao Shrimp was really like 3 tiny shrimp in a sea of sauce, carrots, and chopped celery. And mostly celery - which no one likes. Then, the pork fried rice came in a thimble-sized carry out container. And there were these random short ribs thrown in the bag.Did they think the free ingredient-less egg roll was going to make up for it? Maybe. And maybe Sing gets 2 stars.

This review is specifically for delivery. It was Christmas night and I definitely didn't want to keep eating leftovers since I'll probably be eating that all week. I pulled up the yelp Eat24 app and lo and behold Sing Long is one of maybe 5(?) places open around me at 9 pm. I order some shrimp lo mein (delicious) and only $5.50 with a big enough portion that I still managed to have enough for lunch today. I also ordered a drink and fried dumplings to meet the minimum order amount and I've got to say the dumplings were pretty good. Also good on the Eat24 driver, since despite the quoted time being an hour my driver arrived about 25 minutes later. Overall a good experience, I'll try my best to stop in soon.

I have never heard of this place nor seen it, but for some odd reason when I step out and come back to my house there is a menu in my door. Sooo speaking on that I decided to give it a try, and Boy ole boy did I regret it. I ordered a 4 piece Chicken wing with fried rice and the chicken looked like I had been sitting out for more then 30 minutes and dipped back in the grease to give it a fresh look. The fried rice was yellow and tasted like some foreign chemical. So with all that my order had me focusing on my girlfriend food which wasn't no better. My girlfriend had rib tips that was chewy with a stale taste, and her friend had 4 piece chicken wings as well but her chicken looked so fresh and well cooked and I wasn't understanding why my chicken looked and tasted so dried out. I had a bad experience but you can test your hand on this one, I'll just keep ordered from Apples carry out.

Today I order two shrimp egg foo young with shrimp fired rice! It's was horrible it was 34$ for both it was not worth it! I am very pist! The patty was extra small and the rice was hard either old rice that's hard or uncooked rice! I believe it was old rice. I will never order here again, and I live behind this place! Support businesses that care about us and the community!
