Silvestre Chicken

I like the food from here order almost all the time, i would really recommend, friendly staff and the food is always fresh, sometimes the place might get crowded and orders might take a bit longer than the regular time that is usually 10-15 minutes but in my opinion is worth the try

I was excited to try this place after seeing good reviews from various locations. I ordered from Uber Eats and this location offered the best delivery rate so went with it. I ordered the Carne Al Jalapeño. Firstly, the entree description didn't indicate that the meal came with rice already, so I selected rice as one of my sides (you're told to pick rice and salad or rice and black beans). If rice is already included, why can't I select salad and black beans? Anyway...the meat was drier than I anticipated and the food was a tad salty. Not sure if I'll bother trying again.

This was my first time at the Allentown Road location. I ordered the steak tacos with mild sauce on the side. Giving three stars because my steak was tough... couldn't even eat the entire taco. I had to take the steak out and eat it separately from the taco. I've had Silvestre for years, so I know what it should taste like. I'll give this location another try only for convince.

I had tried this chicken in the Waldorf location and it was horrible. I saw people coming out and I figure I would give it a try. First of all the chicken had zero flavor. It tasted like the $5 chicken from giant. The steak fries were good and so were the plátanos. I ordered two pupusas and they weren't bad but weren't good either. It took almost 40 minutes to get my food. It wasn't until I said just give me whatever you have because I need to go that I finally got the food. This place does not specialize in chicken.

The shrimp tacos had no taste whatsoever. The location wasn't appealing. I spent 9 bucks. Thank God that was all I spent. I wouldn't feed that messs to my dog.

Yeah I gave them two stars. Not because the food is bad but we all know there's that one Silvestre that is better than the other ones, now say it with me......" St Barnabas Rd". It's convenient though so I'll prolly still be up in there, but I said what I said!

The food was good, (probably better if it were still hot) but the customer service was honestly terrible. I waited for my quesadilla for almost 40 minutes only to find out it was at the register near the cashier the whole time. Getting cold. Why wasn't my number called?? When I asked the cashier and the young man about it they gave me blank stares. They could not care less. My food is cold. Do better.

Great chx , everything was flavored well . Portioning for family meal is satisfying.i would post the food but it's almost gone now just wish they added lemon or lime slices for the chx

Friendly staff. Remembers your orders. Take orders over phone and gives u a pickup number. Can also walk in to order of course. They have a few tables for dining but it's right on top of the lobby so skip that. They are very quick to create orders and very helpful if you have menu questions. This location cooks the food very well (I've been to other locations and this one cooks the best IMO). I get the white meat quarter or half chicken and skin is always golden brown and breast is moist. Cabbage is good and so are the black beans. I've had the chicken and shrimp fajita also which is good. If you enjoy the flavor of fresh food WITHOUT heavy salts, season All, sugar, or MSG this is your place. I'm glad they are located here to add additional healthy food meal options to this community.

Always made fresh to order. Fast service and friendly staff. The shrimp tacos are delicious. I've tried multiple shrimp dishes and they've always been delish!
