I was trying to meet some friends at a place called Silver Diner. I was told that it was on Rockville Pike so I went to a place by that name on that pike, and yet my friends were not there. We were unable to communicate so I turned around in Rockville and came back to Bethesda where I began, and found a place called Silver, or at least that's all I could see from the sign, the beautiful neon sign outside above some nice tables with lights outside which made me look forward to having breakfast in the daylight.I was able to legally park the verdant forester, which gave me some peace. After entering, I asked a man behind the primary patron's counter perfectly placed, if a group as described were here. With gravitas et suavitas, he signalled to a table on the southeast side. They were not there but a great restaurant found me. This gentleman must be a manager because he is so good at guest service. I was getting tired after my search and he offered me a complimentary cup of coffee. He was very kind and professional and I'm looking forward to coming back here with my friends and family. All of the staff that I saw and heard were doing their jobs with peace. Wanted to photograph la belle débutante ressemblant l'aigle femelle sweeping le sol, but did not. Progress, not perfection.Anyway, it's amazing how a little kindness can brighten someone's painful day even a few minutes before midnight. Can't wait to try the food, yet for me the hearts of the human persons nourish the heart more than la nourriture. Also, nota bene: no arrogance anywhere among staff from my perch.Merci, gracias, obrigado, shalom, shkran, and thank you Silver New American Brasserie: America the Beautiful in Bethesda, Maryland.

I don't go to Bethesda much, but I've recently learned that they have a fantastic food scene. My girlfriend and I stopped by for a bite to eat while exploring Bethesda, and were SO wowed. We walked in without a reservation, and were seated and taken care of quickly. We started off with bruschetta, which set in stone that we'd continue to be impressed. The bread was soft, the bruschetta was flavorful, and the goat cheese further enhanced all those delicious flavors. For our meals, I chose the power bowl and my girlfriend got a chicken sandwich. I wasn't feeling turkey bacon, but it was so easy to switch one of my sides. It was such a colorful and filling meal! My girlfriend's sandwich was AWESOME, and the hot sauce she requested on the side made it all that much better. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I'll recommend Silver to anyone needing a bite to eat in Bethesda!

WOW! It was my first time visiting Bethesda MD, and my girlfriend and I decided to stop by Silver for a nice brunch in the Row. We were very impressed! What a great place!Service was great, hostess was very sweet and the waiters are all great. Food is excellent. We ordered the Bruschetta appetizer to start- one of the best appetizers I've ever had. The toast was very warm and tasty- and the tomatoes were so fresh and tasted incredible. Chopping and covering them in pesto was the best idea. I could eat bowls of that stuff. Finally, the goat cheese topping was absolutely fantastic. I don't think any other Bruschetta could beat this recipe. For our mains, my girlfriend ordered the Power Bowl, which came with a spinach omelette, wheat toast, turkey bacon (which we modified), fruits and veggies. The serving of the side dishes was generous, but the omelette was quite small. Everything was very tasty though, however. I ordered the Pickle Chicken Sandwich with a side of fries. Wow, that was one of the most unique takes on fried chicken, and it worked extremely well. The chicken was marinated in pickle juice (24 hrs), which was so delicious. It enhanced the flavors of everything. I ordered my sandwich without coleslaw (not a big fan), but unfortunately I was still served coleslaw, not a big deal as my girlfriend loves it and happily tried some. The sandwich also came with arugula which was a great addition. Shoestring fries were amazing, one of my favorite ways to consume french fries. Overall, great dining experience in Bethesda Row-- might be one of the best restaurants!

Received warm welcome from two staff upon walking in. Were quickly led to the booth at corner, which comfortably sat three people at three sides of the table. We all ordered the three-course Savor Bethesda Restaurant Week menu. The sweet corn was a special new dish. The crispy smashed potatoes were quite tasty. The truffle bison meatloaf was tent. The maple-glazed Faroe Islands salmon was soft and medium into its center. The pistachio mousse and chocolate brownie was a good combination. The lemon tartlet was delicious.

My friends and I were excited to try Silver Diner's sister restaurant! The ambiance and decor is definitely a step up. The restaurant has everything you want for a brunch spot: easy to get to location, warm atmosphere, kind staff, and wide variety menu. My friends and I all opted for their more breakfast-y items. I had the caramel French toast with eggs, which also comes with a choice of meat. The French toast was good, but I didn't get much of the caramel sauce. I think it could be improved with a dollop of whipped cream too. I really want to try their lemon ricotta pancakes, so I will be back :)

The service was great we had an amazing server named mark that was super attentive to us and checked in on us several times. I would honestly say he was the best part of the dinning experience ! He had other tables and still made sure no one waited for anything. He made sure to make you feel taken care of. I would ask for him if anyone stops by here ! The resturant was beautiful it looks just like the regular silver dinners in my area. This is a chain of silver diner and silver social same farm to table concept. We started with the street corn which was great and the flavor was great I understand we are in an IG era where everything needs to be pretty but it would be nice to have more chips with This appetizer. For entree we had the lamb meatball pappardelle it was . . . Ok? The noodles were cooked fine the best part was the meatball but the pasta itself was loaded with so much garlic and was sour. It lacked dimension to be the "upscale" version of silver diner it taste the exact same to be honest. The meatballs were great they were seasoned well and cooked well also. Steak and frites were pretty decent. The portion size for price range was absolutely not there. The steak was small and it was truly just a kids meal amount of fries on the plate garnished with a lot of tomatoes. It was cooked well to medium which was nice. It was seasoned decently but I wouldn't come back here for either of these items honestly.

We've been regulars at Silver since it first opened about eight years ago, and it's become one of our favorite spots. We love the delicious food, attentive service, and family-friendly atmosphere. Our grandchildren, who have grown from little kids to big kids over the years, still consider the pancakes their absolute favorite.Silver is also our go-to spot for hosting out-of-town guests, and it never disappoints. Our guests are consistently impressed by the food and the overall experience.Recently, we tried their 3-course dinner and wine special, and it was fantastic. We ordered the salmon. It was easily one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had. The slow-roasted tomatoes and preserved lemon complemented the salmon perfectly.Silver has done an amazing job of keeping us coming back over the years. Whether it's for breakfast, brunch, or dinner, we'll definitely keep returning!
