Do I sound like a broken record? imo, Siam Spice STILL DESERVES 5 STARS. I'm still mainly a call-in, to-go takeout customer DURING LUNCHTIME.Yes, even as a takeout customer, I give this place 5 stars. DO take advantage of their Lunch Specials menu and pricing. Many of your favorite Thai classics as well as some really good specialty dishes on the lunch menu. Lunch specials come with a mini app and rice. Portion sizes are decent - not huge but decent enough for the price. I love their Spicy String Bean (with choice of meat) - the spicy zingy sauce combines well with the tender meat and crunchy sautéed string beans. We also love the Siam Steak specialty dish (not a Lunch Special) worth the slightly higher price. The steak is tender and good cuts of beef. The special sauce/marinade is flavorful and delicious - and when I ordered the dish as a carryout, they thoughtfully provided the marinade separately on the side. Another favorite (check out all my pics) is the Thai Chicken Salad Larb. LOVE the spicy dressing which I always ask for "on the side." I have this as a main entree - goes great with a side of rice and a spring roll.LOVE their spring rolls - a single order consists of 4 small rolls - delicious filling, perfectly crispy crunchy deep fried wrapper skin. The staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating. The interior and space is super small but super clean, neat and quaintly and tastefully decorated. Food is ready quickly and everything is sooo fresh, piping hot and delicious right out the kitchen. Full bar.If you live in Sterling around the Sterling Blvd area (Safeway, McDs, Taco Bell/KFC', Harbor Freight), highly recommend a pop in for lunch or dinner (pro tip: take advantage of their lunch specials even if you save your meal for dinner!).Consistently good going back before covid. (Read my other reviews for other tips, tricks and recommendations! They all still stand.)

We had a pleasant dining experience here! We started with crispy veggie gyozas, which were light and perfectly fried. Our fave dish was the Pad Thai -- the noodles had a nice chew, and the dish was loaded with pork, crunchy bean sprouts, and a generous sprinkle of peanuts. It had the perfect balance of sweet & savory. To complement the meal, we sipped on Thai tea, a classic, and ended with the mango sticky rice -- a heavenly combination of juicy, ripe mango and warm, chewy rice. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, offering the same warm hospitality to every table. We even noticed a regular customer receive a discount, which speaks to their appreciation for loyal patrons. The restaurant itself was clean, bright, and welcoming, which added to the overall comfort of the meal.Don't forget to ask for their house-made spicy sauces -- they bring an extra kick to an already flavorful spread! We'll definitely be returning to support this wonderful family-owned business and enjoy more of their delicious, homestyle Thai cuisine.

This place was decent a few years ago that's why reviews are high but believe this place now is a ONE star because the food quality, sanitary conditions reported by the Health Department and to make matters worst they raised their prices and add an 18% tip !!!Never again and will tell all my colleagues to avoid this place. Even the water tasted like toilet water !!

I was a little concerned when there were not enough people at this restaurant but it turned out to be fine. The tom yum soup is pretty fresh though I would've wished that the mushroom melded with the soup a bit more. It was a hair too raw which left that earthy-mushroom taste a little too strong. Our other dish -- a cripsy one -- was delightful but nothing that you wouldn't find elsewhere. The curry was also good but a solid 4 -- nothing necessarily to rave about when you have a plethora of Thai eateries nearby.

My colleague and I checked out this place for dinner and we're glad we did. I ordered a Thai tea and pad Thai. The Thai tea was very delicious. The pad Thai met the "pad Thai taste test". The noodles were done correctly, the protein to noodle ratio/portion was a good amount, and the flavors were excellent! The interior decor was beautiful and the staff were pleasant. My colleague and I agreed that we'll be coming back for more dinners here.

I went to Siam Spice in Sterling for a post-closing day lunch with my mom and I loved it!! The ambiance of the restaurant was welcoming, and we were excited to try a variety of dishes. We ordered their crispy chicken wings, pad thai, and Thai basil fried rice. Since we opted for the lunch portions, we were delighted to receive two complimentary appetizers: veggie spring rolls and veggie dumplings. The entrees were nothing short of amazing. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The appetizers were not bad but they weren't as good as the entrees. The veggie dumplings and spring rolls were crunchy on the outside, but the inside texture was a tad disappointing, feeling somewhat soggy or slimy. The standout dish for me was the Thai Basil Fried Rice. It was absolutely incredible, with the perfect balance of spices and fresh ingredients. It's a dish I would come back for time and time again. The service at Siam Spice was exceptional. The staff was sweet, super accommodating, and ensured we had a great dining experience. Based on the quality of the food and the warm hospitality, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine. I definitely want to come back and explore more of their menu!!9

Came in here on a Wednesday night and it's pretty quiet and cozy!I ordered the drunken noodle with beef and it wasn't very spicy at all. However, the flavor was good, and the noodle texture was soft and chewy. It was a bit on the oily side, but I think that's just the nature of Thai food here.I ordered the mango sticky rice but the waitress gave me just the sticky rice. Also not too sweet and the rice was nice and chewy.

Ugh. Sorry, but it wasn't good.Cheese wonton things, said it had crab but I couldn't tell: ridiculously sweetened to the point of being sickly, and soggy - they were all wet. No crisp or crunch at all. Ate 2, threw 10 away (mistake of a double order). Soup - not"bad" so much as uninspired. Like frozen taquitos from the store-- just simply blasé and uninspired. Thai crispy rolls - much like the wontons - soggy. No crisp, no crunch. Overall, and given the price, there is nothing here to incentivize me to continue to order from this place when there are so many other Thai options in the area. Sorry, I hate to be blunt - but this place was well below average.
