Just had the beef Shawarma and my wife had the chicken. Great taste! The pickled peppers and the garlic sauce made the shawarma. I'll be back!

Shawarma House is a new Lebanese food truck that you can easily find at the rear of the Shell gas station. The hubs spotted this while we were on our way to another spot, and I am glad to have been able to check this place out!The menu offers various appetizers (hummus, baba ghanouj stuffed grape leaves, falafel, and kibbeh), salads and bowls, wraps, platters (that come with a side of fries), and even kid options.I ordered:+hummus - thick, creamy, and had a slight tang to it+baba ghanouj - super smokey and thick+stuffed grape leaves - this was shared that it was very good and homemade; definitely more tangy-er +kibbeh - freshly-fried and comes with 3 pieces+beef shawarma wrap - comes with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, sliced pickles, and garlic sauce; filled generously with seasoned beef strips, this can be a mess to eat with the dripping sauce!+chicken shawarma wrap - comes with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, sliced pickles, and garlic sauce; filled generously with seasoned chicken (seemed like breast is used?), this can be a mess to eat with the dripping sauce! The food, overall, was okay - we weren't a fan of the shawarma as the seasoning in the beef and the chicken were just off, and both meats were a little dried out. There seemed to be an influx of patrons stopping by, and it was good to see such support for a local food truck!Just note that even though there's a menu board posted outside of the truck, there are no prices listed; there is a paper menu that you can request. We spent about $50+, plus gratuity, so it's definitely more on the pricier side.I was disappointed that they didn't have the lemonade with mint.Parking can be tricky, as it's in a gas station, so it is tricky to park off to the side.Super friendly staff!+stuffed grape leaves!+request a hard copy of the menu for prices+friendly staff!+card accepted!+located at the Shell gas station

I ordered from them recently on Grubhub. I got some hummus ($7.99), a beef shawarma bowl ($16.99), and a can of ginger ale ($1.99). The delivery fee was $2.49; the sales tax was $1.32; the service fee was $3.30; and the tip for the driver was $6.82. I live on Duke Street near the Aldi and the meal was here in maybe 45 minutes. All of the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Shawarma beef tastes a bit dry; it is actually quite good even though dry beef doesn't usually sound tasty. Beef shawarma has coriander, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cayenne pepper, cloves, cinnamon, virgin olive oil, and white wine vinegar for seasoning. The other ingredients are lemon, flank steak, kosher salt, black pepper, cloves, yellow onions, pita bread, tahini sauce, and pickled cucumbers (https://www.themediterraneandish.com/grilled-beef-shawarma/). It was accompanied by a Mediterranean salad. The flank steak is what really made the meal. If you have never had Arab food before, you need to try shawarma for an introduction. Grubhub lists the address as 5470 Edsall Road, but Yelp lists it as a food truck at the same address. It could be a ghost kitchen. Keep up the good work.

I have been to a few Lebanese restaurants in this area. In comparison, it is one of the best around.I am reviewing this based on ONE week of eating all foods from his menu. When I review restaurants I don't review based on one visit; that is the dumbest and most ignorant thing to do. You actually have to go at least twice or more to base your conclusions. The shawarmas are flavorful and hits the right notes for a proper Lebanese style shawarma, and yes do be slurping that sauce. He changes his menu items sometimes and adds items, for example he has a Mango smoothie type drink which is refreshing. His salads are proper and abundant. Great flavors on the grape leaves which are nice small and tight. Hand wrapped daily.Great spot to pick up food as it's next to the 7/11 and La Mart supermarket. Lots of parking and you can even fill up for gas.

Buyer beware. I purchased two mixed grill meals from this vendor. I was charged a total of $45.71. When I asked for a receipt for the purchase I was informed that he had no paper to print me one. I went to his website curious as to how it could be so much. There I found the mixed grill to be $17.99. So if I purchased two of these meals that would be $35.98. Add to that a generous 10% for taxes $39.58 at most. When I brought it to the vendor's attention he said that the price was special for the online purchases through Uber Eats. That made no sense to me because Uber Eats takes a cut from the vendor so wouldn't you want to charge higher online as opposed to in person? That being said, I went home and brought the meals to share with my wife. When I opened it I immediately noticed the discrepancy between the advertised number of chicken pieces along with beef pieces associated with the mixed grill. At that point, I realized I had a duty to report this guy to my credit card company and also leave him a review that will hopefully teach him the value of doing honest business. I don't normally post reviews but he fired me up with the way he blatantly lied to me when inquiring about the price discrepancy, lack of paper for a receipt, and further atrocious over cooked meager pieces of chicken and meat that were provided. Definitely don't recommend purchasing any food from this vendor. Hopefully he changes his business practices as the internet provides a medium to keep them honest. I run a company myself and recognize how much trust between the company and customer is paramount to grow a business and keep it running over the years.

The best hummus on earth! First let me say that lol. You can taste the brilliance of Lebanese olive oil and it can't be beat! Very fresh ingredients, I had the chicken shawarma with fries and a mint lemonade! So, so good! The lemons also coke from Lebanon. The owner is super friendly and welcoming, you feel like you've known him forever! I can't wait to order more and maybe get some events catered!
