I'm back in the DVM for work after leaving 3yrs ago due to COVIDand let me tell you I missed this place so much reminds me of being back in Manama Bahrain.The food is amazing hot and fresh I'll be coming back once a week to get my Grub on :)

I wanted to like this place. For some reason, I've been having a lot of shawarma related things pop up in my social media. Finally had my chance when I walked by this place. Unfortunately, it didn't meet up to par. Got a chicken shawarma but the chicken was too dry to enjoy. Packed it with some veggies, garlic paste, and hummus and all, but if the meat ain't juicy, then this ain't it. One positive note is that they do give you a decent amount of chicken but I didn't enjoy the wrap... maybe I'll try beef if I give it a second chance?

Came here because the reviews were so good but was very let down and disappointed. I got the chicken shawarma and my boyfriend got the beef/ lamb shawarma. We came in an hour before closing and I mean... I understand it's close to closing but we're still customers!!! Service was bad!! Not even a smirk on either of the two faces. Tried to be understanding, however the way our questions were being answered... not acceptable. Came off so rude!!!! Now moving onto the food-The chicken was dry and left a weird after taste in my mouth. The grease level was unbelievable and the sandwiches were soggy as you can probably tell in my photosCame to support a local small business but was let down and will not be back.

I ordered a shawarma, a cheese manakeesh and beef manakeesh. The shawarma was average, i asked for garlic sauce on the side which they didnt honor. Inside the shawarma was only supposed to have lettuce, feta cheese and meat. There was no feta cheese, and they put onion, tomato and chopped eggplant inside the shawarma. They didn't provide either of the Manakeesh' at all. Instead they gave a few small meat topped pies, and a few small pieces that looked similar to sambosas. Uber eats gives restaurants the option to refund items that were ordered but are out of stock. They chose to provide me with random items I never authorized, instead of doing the right thing and refunding me. I would avoid at all cost.

Always good, fast and flavorful! They have great Baba Gangoush! Their salads with Chicken shawarma and falafel are a favorite. Super crispy and pairs perfect with Tahani sauce. Their wraps are also heavenly -- they grill them in a panini press before handing it to you. Mango Lassi and fresh squeezed strawberry juice are staples.

No... just no. What in the world food are you all eating that this place got such a high rating? This food was Not Good, the words I used while eating it was "this is disgusting." They were stingy on all of our meal, I had to keep asking for more or I'd have literally had no food. We actually walked out and asked "should we go get jimmy johns" because my husband and I were so hungry still. When I asked what rating my husband would give, he said "we're never coming back, I'd give a zero." And then he threw his food away. So basically no food, and what we did have was completely bland and devoid of any flavor. My husband for the chicken shawarma, and had the same experience. Additionally, my falafel was highly over cooked. Finally, If you have any allergy, this is not your place. I don't know a more polite way to say this, and I would never shame anyone trying to speak a second or maybe their third language. But when you're running a food establishment, You Have to understand enough English to be able to understand people's questions relating to your food. Asking if items had milk, dairy, yogurt... none of it was understood. This was the most difficult dining experience and I will not be coming back.

I came here randomly because I was in the area and they were nearby and I was very hungry. I came in and everybody was super friendly and nice and it smelled amazing as soon as you walked in the door. I had originally tried to order the platter but there was a miscommunication and they thought I said to Shawarma bowls and so I just went with that instead haha. A single bowl is huge enough to count as two meals so I've spaced out my two bowls to cover 4 meals so it's very cost-effective. I also couldn't resist getting a side of falafel and was really impressed when he scooped the falafel into the fryer as I ordered them... so they were handmade as soon as I ordered and they came out hot and fresh and totally delicious. Definitely recommend stopping here if you're ever in the area!! I want to come back and try the whole menu.

We ordered from The Shawarma Guys at the Manchester location on 2/23/2025 via Door Dash and received a 6pm pickup time. I arrived at 6:04pm, which is admittedly a tad late, but that usually isn't an issue. As I attempted to enter the establishment, I found the door locked with the deadbolt and the staff inside cleaning, so I figured they had closed just prior. I'd hoped that they'd be able to just hand my order to me through the door and I'd be able to head back home, but boy, was I wrong. Despite me holding my phone up to the door with the image of my order to pick up, the man in charge right behind the counter shooed me away with rude and dismissive hand gestures without even attempting to communicate otherwise. I understand they were closed, but there was absolutely zero reason to be so ill-mannered about it, especially when you are likely waiting for a paying customer to pick up the final order of the day. Will never even consider returning to this place.

I ordered three platters but there was barely any food in it. I usually order other items but never the platter, it was for a few people but the three platters could have fed two people. There was probably 2 spoonfuls or rice and very little portions of protein. I don't know what that was but it is embarrassing and shameful how little food was provided in that tray. Not ordering from here again.

Don't pay the 2/1 stars no mind... This was tops Portion size where the wrap was busting Fresh pickles hot sauce and tasty chicken Fresh falafel Definitely stopping in again for the stuffed grape leaves
