Coffee Shop No. 467Shaghf CafeFalls Church, VAFebruary 13, 2025I was having lunch with my husband and the best dessert for any meal is always a cortado; so I used Google to find a close cafe and Shagf Cafe popped up. The barista was very friendly and helpful. I don't normally order anything other than cortados, but there were these small ball shaped desserts that caught my attention. The barista called them Cinnamon Kinderbites. The outside of the dessert is dough and it is bland; not much flavor. However, that's probably a good things because the magic is in the melted chocolate in the center of the dessert. The chocolate is creamy and rich. I wasn't a fan of the first bite, but after the second one I definitely became a fan. The presentation of the Cinnamon Kinderbites was very attractive. I really liked the simple clay platter they arrived on.The cortado was well made. Enjoying life one cortado at time!

4.5 stars. Love the interior in here. Even tho it has the typical white sterile vibe, they make it interesting with fun couches and other furniture so it's more cozy. Our cashier/barista was super friendly and helpful when we asked questions.We got an Iced Habibi Latte (vanilla + hazelnut) and a Hot Movie Latte (kettle corn). We initially loved both flavors. The coffee flavor was strong and delicious. I recommend mixing your drink well and maybe even asking for less syrup/sweetness. Towards the end of both drinks, they were too sweet and milky... not enough coffee taste.

This popular coffee shop from Dubai just recently opened a location in Virginia. I got their Iced Spanish Latte which was amazing! The coffee flavor was great and the sweetness from the condensed milk reminded me of Vietnamese coffee. The Shagf Tart was a perfect pastry to pair with my coffee as I sat in their super aesthetic cafe. The staff was also really nice as they saw me looking through the menu and gave me some recommendations and answered my questions. I've had Shaghf Cafe on my list for a bit and finally had the chance to check it out this afternoon. The interior is spacious with white walls, accented by neon white lights in the shape of arches. There are a few plants scattered throughout, adding a nice contrast. The seating is spread out comfortably, so there's plenty of space.HOT PISTACHIO LATTE - 7.50I got it with two shots of espresso + whole milk; they offer milk alternatives like oat and almond as well. The drink is on the smaller side, maybe 8 oz, and if you order it "for here", it comes in a nice ceramic cup. The latte had a good amount of pistachio bits, and the syrup used had a honey-like, viscous texture. I'm not sure if it was meant to be fully mixed in, but there was still some pistachio and syrup left at the bottom of the cup by the end. The drink was good, but I'm not sure if the price justifies itAll in all, Shaghf is a nice spot to spend a couple hours. Unfortunately, my friend and I had trouble connecting to the wifi, so we had to use our hotspot instead.

Came here seeing how nice the spot looked with the drinks. Asked the staff about recs and how each drink was like and they were super friendly. I really liked my red velvet latte as it was not too sweet and tasty. The Habibi latte was too sweet in my opinion. The lattes were $6-7.50 which are kind of pricey for the amount but I liked the options they had for how you can have your drink (can, regular plastic cup, bag) with the store's branding. The drinks are aesthetic as well as the interior; can see people chilling in this place for hours with comfy seats. Would recommend trying this place out if you're willing to spend on these pretty drinks! May try their dessert next time.

Went here yesterday afternoon w/my sister. The intersection this place is located on right behind Jerusalem restaurant and across the street from Halalco is busy, and there's ample parking if you get there before peak time.I heard mixed reviews and was hesitant about coming here, but I'm glad I gave it a try. There was both a very nice girl and a very smiley guy behind the counter who greeted us and let us know that we could ask them any questions. The place is spacious, clean, and aesthetic - I love the plush seating, backlit walls, and table decor. We asked them about non-dairy alternative milks, which they carried. I got a Date Latte (iced, in a can), and my sister got the Habibi latte (iced, in pouch) in the which I was also considering. I love that they give you multiple container options (if you want it in a cup - in store or to go plastic cup, juice style pouch, or soda can). We also got the Shagf tart to share, which was so comforting - I couldn't tell if it was chocolate or date on the butter crust with a caramel drizzle, but it was delicious.Next time I'll def get the Habibi latte, bc the date latte was yummy but not as sweet to my liking, but I enjoyed that it had the strong coffee taste and yummy date syrup.It was $25 before I gave tip, which is pricey for two drinks and a slice of tart, otherwise everything was great. I would return!

Beautiful cafe and delicious drinks! I can't wait to visit this cafe again and try a new item again. The service was awesome and everyone was so kind!

The food was amazing I got a croffle and a shaghf tart ; however, we had to wait for 30 minutes to get the shaghf tart because it was out of stock later in the day but well worth the wait. They said to call in advance if you want something in particular and making a long drive out. The flavors are warm and cozy and the restaurant is pretty chill and not overcrowded. The drinks didn't feel like anything incredibly special but were okay nonetheless. If you want the stone mug, that is used for hot drinks not cold drinks!

Sooooo goood. Highly recommend the pistachio drink. The brownie was good but not as special as the drinks. The ambiance is so cute. Staffs are so friendly and make your drinks with care. Would definitely come back. 10/10!

Was so excited to try this new coffee shop! Yelp hours said they open at 9:30am on Thursdays, got there and they were closed, Google hours said 10am, so I came back at 10:06 and they were still closed. Went back to my car to leave and saw the employees arrive at 10:10 to open the store. Was pretty annoyed, but still wanted some coffee. Got the habibi latte and it was absolutely delicious. The customer service was good, and the decor inside is nice. My advice would be to open on time for us early birds and to update the yelp hours. Beyond that- the drinks here are wonderful.
