We absolutely loved everything about our meal! The kimchi had the perfect balance of spice and a touch of sourness. I especially appreciated the generous amount of veggies in the bibimbap--and even though I'm usually not a fan of shiitake mushrooms, I loved how they were prepared here. Everything blended together beautifully. The aesthetic of the place was adorable as well. Definitely planning to come back!

A great Korean fusion restaurant. Makes me nostalgic for k-food trucks in LA. I appreciate the folks giving us an accurate estimate of how long it would take for us to seat and eat. Meanwhile, the decor was fun and we enjoyed looking around while waiting. Dishes were all beautifully vibrant in taste and to behold. My only little squibble is that we ended up ordering what turned out to be a redundant order of kale/beet kimchi for $10+. I really wanted to try this unusual dish and were told no other dishes featured it. But the janchi bento had it.

So good! A vegan friend was visiting so I finally made the trek out here to get takeout and we all loved it, vegans and omnivores alike. Dishes that were sampled were the sweet potato japchae, korean fried "chicken", fried broccoli and tofu bento, scallion pancake, cardamom pistachio cake and the apple pastry buns.Of all of these, the only one I might not order again is the scallion pancake, it was fine, but kind of small for the price and I can get this at other places. The apple buns were the best thing my vegan friend has eaten in as long as she could remember. You wouldn't know they were vegan they were so yummy. The cake was really good as well but the apple buns stole the show. My bento was pretty big, I liked everything in it though maybe the dressing was a little overpowering? Just a little. Mine wasn't spicy at all. There was a tiny bit of heat in the japchae but not much. (Vegan Friend doesn't do spice and thought it was spicy, but me and hubs could barely detect any heat.)The KF"C" was nice and spicy even to us, heavy on the gochujang, honestly tasted exactly like the sauce my husband makes when he does KFC at home. The "C" in it sucks up the flavor very well. The portion size on his KF"C" & rice wasn't as big as the japchae or my bento though so go for this if you're not starving, though to be fair the "C" is very dense and filling.Parking here is a bit of an issue, we got takeout in preparation for that fact since hubby is on crutches. I did find parking on a side street but it was slim pickings. I'm not sure if it's legal to park in any of the nearby lots. Some signage about what's legal parking would be helpful. There were a number of tables inside though, and there's a bakery next door, so I'd love to come back for lunch and visit the bakery too except it's a bit far for me to come during the week for lunch so maybe on a weekend when my hubby is mobile again. Maybe we'll even try some of the meat dishes. But we didn't miss the meat at all.Prices are a bit on the high side though. Our meal was over $100 for 3 of us. If you just get one meal and no sides or dessert the meals you might be able to get lunch for about $20 a piece. Not saying it's not worth it for the quality, but it's probably not going to work if you're on a very tight budget.

Run. Don't walk. Random visit to try something new and every day I am thankful for finding this gem. Currently no dine in as the plants have taken over, but we could wait inside for our order. The employee was great with explaining items and answering all our questions. Everything was online so we weren't rushed as we browsed because all the options were so good! I finally decided on the firecracker quesadilla and sweet buns. Thought we could make the 20 minutes drive home but caved in as soon as we got back to the car. The sauce with the quesadilla was a great spice to include how big the chicken was inside! The tea star were the sweet buns. I have never had one before and the flavor, sweetness, and thickness was outrageous. Cannot believe there's something that good on this earth. I will drive 1,000 miles for those sweet buns because they're all I think about and are definitely in the running for the most perfect dessert.

Excellent, authentic Korean food in Takoma park. Ordered kimchi pancake, side of rice and tteokbokki and everything was prepared fresh with high quality ingredients. For example rice was a good mix of white and brown rice and I was surprised my elementary school child ate it. I asked tofu side which wasn't on the menu and staff was so quick accommodate the request. I love the inside and outside of the restaurant- full of art, flower and plants. I highly recommend this place if you want to try Korean food out.

Seoul Food has consistently been my favorite restaurant since their days in Wheaton. Their Cauliflower Japchae is my favorite and their lemon pecan cookies are perfection. Anna and her team have always made my family and I feel welcome, and I hope they continue to inspire diners for many years to come. If I could I would eat here everyday!

This place was great, parking is a bit rough though. I got the fried chicken & kimchi dosilag & apple buns. Fried chicken was scrumptiousKimchi dosilag had multiple flavor and texture profiles, very nice. Rice portion was a bit small, but all good.Apple buns, sweet and flavorful.
