Very cozy bar during Christmas time with incredible food and drinks. We went 5 or 6 times during the month of December.

Today, I had the pleasure of having lunch at Sense of Thai in One Loudoun. It's always a wonderful experience, and if you're looking to support a woman-owned, minority-owned business, this is the place to go! A bonus is that Jeremy Ross, from The Food Network's Chopped, is the COO. Sense of Thai is beautifully decorated for each season, and today they had a Valentine's theme. We enjoyed delicious appetizers, including spring rolls and lamb pops. The lamb pops were outstanding, paired with a delightful chimichurri sauce that struck the perfect balance of heat and sweetness. For our main courses, we ordered the Hangover Lo Mein and Spicy Thai Basil (with chicken). There was enough food for leftovers, which I fully intend to enjoy later in the weekend!

Ambiance: the bar is located at the front door so it was kind of odd walking into a crowded room to enter and leave the dining area. Service: the staff were so sweet and welcoming. Drinks: I ordered the guava Negroni and my boyfriend ordered an old fashion. Both drinks looked exactly the same and I wasn't too sold on the Negroni. My second drink was a French 75 and that was tasty Appetizers: we ordered the Heaven Beef which came with sticky rice-Absolutely DELICIOUS! The beef was perfectly cooked and the sticky rice was delectable. Main dishes: I ordered the crispy basil duck which was paired with rice and vegetables. I must say that I was disappointed with the vegetables because they were frozen and not fresh. Aside from the frozen vegetable, the duck was juicy, and the sauce was so delicious. My boyfriend ordered the honey shrimp and that was really good, could have used more care because the tails were still on and some of the shell was hidden in a batter. Overall, the service was great but I don't know if I'd rush to visit again.

The food & drinks at Sense of Thai are always amazing! My go to are the Drunken Noodles, Kapow Fried Rice, Chive Pancakes & Mango Sticky Rice! The service is quick and seamless with nice staff. The vibes are also super cute with a very decorated bar. Great place for a date. The only constructive criticism I would add is that their food has a little too much oil but it's not enough for me to stop coming here :)

We're regulars here and it never disappoints! We've tried mostly everything on the menu and the fried tilapia is my absolute favorite. The service is always great. Everyone is always so friendly and the food comes out quick. The vibe is always fun! Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Service: Had to wait a little for my server to return. The restaurant wasn't busy and the glass windows allowed me to view server laughing with a coworker while I waited. Once I signaled to the Manager, he motioned her over. Atmosphere: VERY festive. Christmas music playing and lots of holiday decor-- right down to the Santa chair covers. Big restaurant compared to others in the area. Crowd about what you'd expect for mid-day on a Monday. Crab Rangoon: you get 6 small wontons-- $12 is a little pricey for imitation crab meat and cream cheese.Seafood Pad Thai: Very, very good. Came with mussels, squid (I asked them to omit), scallops (tender), and shrimp. I asked for extra scallions, but since this wasn't your run of the mill pad Thai , I really didn't need them.

This Thai restaurant is in One Loudon and I'd absolutely recommend it for a great dinner and also for a birthday! My mom and I came here for her birthday since she always loves Thai food and it did not disappoint. We got the spring rolls, green curry with tofu, and the lychee cheesecake for dessert and everything was cooked really well and also surprisingly quick. I feel like we ordered our spring rolls and they arrived 5 mins later but they were hot and fresh. Our absolute favorite is the lychee cheesecake, it was light but so so flavorful! There's plenty of parking nearby and the menu has ample choices to choose from. If you come for a birthday, they play a birthday song on the speakers, and bring out a sparkler candle and a sign saying happy birthday which made it a fun event. I'd come back again for the food though! They are open until late in the evening and even have a 2nd late night happy hour which would be good to check out!

Nova possesses no shortage of decent Thai restaurants, yet few offer the elusive combination of a broad menu, quality cooking, and special occasion appropriate ambiance. Sense of Thai in One Loudon provides all of those crucial components to the dining experience and subsequently represents one of my favorite Thai places in the metro area. The open, warehouse style vibes of the place accented with Thai street market accents is appropriate for both a casual night out or a more special celebration. My wife and I have dined here on multiple occasions and have found the food consistent in taste and presentation across visits. Both Thai standards (drunken noodles, various curries) and more esoteric selections (nam khao coconut salad and a variety of Thai inspired noodle soups, for example) are well represented here. We usually opt for the latter and have yet to be disappointed with a dish. Additionally, we often dine with vegetarian companions, and Sense of Thai is one of the few places that keeps the fish sauce away from the vegetarian dishes. I've never had a cocktail here, but the drink list always tempts. Service tends to run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently.Do note that the dishes run on the sweet side, especially when ordered with a medium or less spice level. Still, despite the slightly saccharine flavor profile of the fare, we find ourselves routinely returning for the appetizing menu, fair prices, appealing ambiance, and vegetarian friendly cooking. Few Thai restaurants in the area can accomplish such feats well, and so Sense of Thai is worth a visit for outing worthy Thai cuisine catering to mixed palates.

The food and drinks here are really good! It was loud when I came when they had live music during the summer, but overall a great experience.
