We went here on a weekday with a reservation. They weren't too busy and the service was quick. We were greeted right away and told the specials. They also bring complementary bread which is always a plus! We stumbled on half price wine Wednesday and they ran out of the one we chose but gave us a great alternative option. We got the calamari which was perfectly fried and crispy. For my main entree, I ordered the fettuccine di spinachi alla norcina. It was a good portion size and delicious. I enjoyed the flavor and actually had leftovers which warmed up pretty well! This is definitely a staple in Manassas and a great Italian restaurant. Tons of options for everyone!

The place looks fancy but not overly so. My bf and I were seated across from the kitchen so we got to see them cooking and heard all the Italian being spoken by the chef. Was pretty fun. The food was great. I had the lobster bisque which at first I thought was a bit too "seafoody" tasting and not as thick as I wanted, but the more I ate it, the more I loved it. I just always had bisque that was a little thicker but the taste was excellent. My bf had the sausage pasta. It didn't look that great presentation wise, but he really enjoyed the flavors. I think the spinach pasta just was appealing. I had the linguini vongole and it's the best in the area. I wish it has some garlic bread so I can dip in the sauce. The only down side was the focaccia bread they served prior to the meal. It was too chewy and not in a good way. It was also not warm and the flavor was lacking. Very disappointing. Good thing the other dishes made up for the subpar bread. And the tiramisu dessert was spot on.

We made a reservation on a Friday after the holidays and it wasn't too busy but since it's a small place I highly recommend making reservations. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. The drinks were good (semifreddo martini, Sauvignon blanc and the mojito). We ordered the calamari which I would not recommend. It was very chewy and just bland. We also got the prosciutto and burrata which was good. The vongole was fantastic 10/10. The Duck was also good. The chefs special risotto could've had more flavor and even added veggies. The risotto was hard and chewy. No acidity on the plate and just meh. For $49 it definitely wasn't worth it.

3.9/5TL;DR: good appetizers and desserts. Entrees were mehNice little Italian spot hidden away in a strip mall. Called ahead and thankfully was able to get a table. It was very busy inside, so recommend calling ahead/making a reservation. Service was phenomenal. Very attentive, fast, friendly, and anticipating our needs. FOOD: ~Baby octopus appetizer (4/5): Octopus was so soft and flavorful. Came with an arugula salad and cold potato pieces. Really good with the octopus~Lamb Meatballs (3.8/5): meatballs were moist and tender, but didn't get a ton of lamb flavor from it. The polenta underneath was delicious. Not too grainy, and well seasoned. ~Duck entree (2/5): We asked for the duck to be medium rare, but came out more medium well. Was very dry and tough. The sauce was really good though~Congole (3/5): very basic. Sauce was tasty but a little too thin so it didn't cling on to the pasta. Clams were a little over cooked, but comes with a decent amount~Tiramisu (5/5): Loved how drenched the lady fingers were in the espresso/coffee. Could really taste the coffee flavor. The mousse was also really good. If you don't like 'wet' desserts, then you may not like this~Semifreddo (5/5): When this first came out, it didn't look what i expected it to be. But it was basically like an ice cream/frozen mousse. The bits of amaretto cookies were so good, and the texture of the mousse was great. Will likely come back to try some other entrees to see if there are other ones we may like more.

Nice to find a hidden gem when you least expect it. Our current plan B will definitely be a future plan A!Ambiance - Quaint, but not crowded. The restrooms are even nice. They remind me of the restrooms in Vegas. And I always like the traditional white tablecloths. Food - Wow! Fantastic! The meatballs were incredible. I tried their lobster noodle special. 10/10. The portions are nice. You won't leave hungry. Service - So good. We mentioned when we're home that we add balsamic and cheese to our oil and pepper. The server brought out balsamic and cheese for us. The small touches take this place over the top!Overall, while it's a bit of a drive for us, we're coming back. I'd like to try more dishes and bring friends. Help make this spot successful and try it out for yourself!

I was taken to this very quaint Italian restaurant on my birthday by my BEST FRIEND who made us a lunch reservation for us. I am SUPER THANKFUL she did since the food and service were simply AMAZING!!! She had flowers and balloons waiting for me at the table that she reserved for us as well as an antipasto platter for us to enjoy as we sat down!! What a sweetheart of a BFF!!! I love this girl SO MUCH!! Anyway, the staff were SUPER FRIENDLY and so accommodating!!! They provided TOP NOTCH service and did NOT skip a beat!! I ordered the lamb shank entree that came with amazing risotto and my BFF ordered the tenderized ribeye steak that came with veggies and diced potatoes. It was ALL SUPER DELICIOUS AND FLAVORFUL!!!! Oh my!!!! We both also ordered a glass of wine each...my friend ordered a glass of white Riesling while I ordered a glass of red Pinot Noir. Both SUPER TASTY!! It was my FIRST time to enjoy this restaurant, but it's a staple for my BFF, however, I will definitely need to bring my other BFF here!! This restaurant is just amazing!! Food, Staff and atmosphere is just simply AMAZING AND WONDERFUL!!!! Thank you for making my birthday so special!!!!!

We revisited Semifreddo for a much-needed date night. We didn't call for reservations, but we were accommodated right away. For starters, we had Mushroom Soup, Calamari, and Eggplant Parmigiano. The mushroom soup and the calamari were delicious but we were disappointed with the Eggplant Parmigiano - it was mushy, slightly bitter, and the eggplant itself was bland - we had to send it back. For pasta and entree, we split the Truffle Parmesan Cream Pasta and Ribeye. The truffle parmesan cream pasta could be executed better - the truffle was shaved too thickly that it distracted instead of enhancing what would have been otherwise an excellent pasta dish. On the other hand, we were really impressed with the rib eye with veggies - it was cooked perfectly! For dessert, we shared a serving of gelato which we really enjoyed.Overall, even with a few hiccups, we had an amazing experience. I hope they'll improve some of the dishes and maintain the quality of the dishes they do best.
