My fiancé and I decided to try this restaurant after hearing about its food. We walked in and had the pleasure of Yousef being our waiter. He asked if it was our first time there which we said yes and offered recommendations on appetizers. We decided to go with the desert fire jalapenos and goat cheese and tomatoe jam bruschetta which both were absolutely amazing! While trying to decide on our main meal we decided to try some drinks we both got the Havana Coconut. Unfortunately this drink did not taste like we expected with coconut rum, cherry liqueur, pineapple, and lime. I expected it to taste along creamer but all you can taste was the lime. Afterwards we tried the pomegranate blueberry cocktail and that one tasted a lot better. They are both strong drinks but I had to minus one star as they do not have a large cocktail menu. I understand they are a taphouse and have pages of beers and hard alcohol but wish they would expand the cocktail menu more. Now for our main course we both got the sedona crab cakes which was absolutely amazing. There was lump crabmeat in them and the flavor was great. I would prefer it seared a little more (again personal choice) as it falls apart pretty easily. I switch the included sites for string fries (Which are actually regular fries) and Brussel sprouts (seared good but no flavor) and my fiancé decided on the sweet potatoe fries and grilled asparagus both of which he really enjoyed. I highly recommend getting the lemon butter that comes on the bruschetta on the side it truly takes the crab cakes to a whole new level. Yousef was a great waiter made recommendations and helped us narrow down choices (we were starving so everything sounded good). One thing I had never encounter in any resturant I have been to in 30 years is asking about food allergies. This really was amazing and glad to see the restaurant is prepared for this situations. I'm not sure what is up with this place and its service! The service is always terrible, the drinks are overpriced and the food is so so for the price you pay.Today, I came in to grab lunch to go. Had a drink while I waited. Next thing you know, we are there for 45 minutes because the kitchen could not get it together. We ended up having a manager get off his business call to find out what was going on with our orders. The salads weren't right, my side was wrong. They were out of half the menu. We thought they were going to comp the bill and they only ended up comping the stuff that was wrong. We come here based on convenience, but then dread it when we do come. Because it's always terrible.

Great food and ambiance. A little quieter than some other nearby restaurants and gathering places. A welcome relief for loud music and loud groups. All our meals were very good including Mahi Mahi, scallops, chicken Marsala, fish tacos and salad. Portions and prices were fair. Only ding is that our waiter seemed new and not 100% on the ball. Didn't know wine list very well and didn't voluntarily refill ice tea. Also, didn't inform us that there was a cost for bread. All things considered, I would rate 4.5 stars. A very enjoyable evening with friends.

We joined their waitlist at 6pm on Saturday for a 7pm seating and they sat us promptly at 7pm. Service is great, really good place to hang with friends. Our table got apps, land and sea, grilled salmon, shrimp and grits, and burgers. Everything looked and taste great, except the steak was just okay. Prices seem reasonable but the portion sizes are in my opinion on the lower end of scale, so no doggie bags needed here. Their happy hour is a good deal with half off drinks and some apps.

The food and ambiance were good but the service was terrible. I did not see much effective support from management. We made dinner reservations for 6:30pm on a Wednesday, and it was chaos, from the check in process to just the basics of receiving water and menus. I likely will not go back unless I am just there to drink and waste time and am prepared for mediocre service. This place promised to be really special, and has so much potential, but the lousy service gives it Ruby Tuesday vibes.

Excellent service: it was packed on a Friday and I struggled to find a seat at the bar and an employee tried his best to help me. Eventually ended up at a table but was able to order HH items from the table so no issues with that. HH: Their mussels are excellent. The broth is buttery and perfect to dip with the bread. Highly recommend them.

So, I had the opportunity to visit Sedona Taphouse again, but this time I had something other than their delicious bread basket. My revisit allowed me to partake in their Happy Hour which takes place Monday through Friday from 3:30PM to 6:30PM. On their happy hour menu, there are a handful of appealing options for the low price of $6 such as their truffle fries, the margarita flat bread, and the desert fire jalapenos. I opted to get the truffle fries and a margarita flat bread, which were modestly sized, along with the lemon drop. As to the flavor, my margarita flat bread may have been in the oven a smidget to long or stayed out of the oven a little longer than anticipated prior to getting to my table as it was a little tough. Additionally, it may have been missing an ingredient that I couldn't quite put my finger on that left me wishing for more out of the flat bread. The truffle flies needed a little bit more truffle and parmesan for it to be a hit for me. Our waiter was very attentive and provided quick service and the ambience was very chill with a great playlist playing in the background. Overall, my experience here, which is heavily influenced by the food was about average.

My wife and I went here for the first time today, January 3, 2025. Everything was perfect. We liked the ambiance and the overall feel of the place. The server Alexiv was very good - timing and attentiveness were spot on, He was polite and the order was accurate. The food was deeeelish - we started with the Desert Fire Jalapeños - very good flavor. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and it was full of flavor - the meat was tender and better than most competitors' prime rib and the au jus was light and flavorful - loved it all. My wife got the meatball sub - one of the best if not the best I've ever had - the homemade meatballs were seasoned perfectly and authentic. It made me want more and my only recommendation would be to add 1 or 2 more meatballs and make a large meatball as an appetizer. The menu was full and the beer / drink list extensive - I'm sure anyone one would be able to find a meal here and they have many options for GF, GFO, Heart Healthy, Vegan, and Vegetarian.
