Small cafe in the beautiful park that offers indoor and outdoor seating in an incredible setting - the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden. Small bites and handhelds with a variety of hot and cold beverages - 21+ beverages available as well. Everyone orders in school lunch line fashion, single filed to the register. Pros: It's gorgeous, and you're literally in the sculpture garden.Cons: It's egregiously overpriced and the pre packed for the most part.

Enjoyed a cold beer and the sounds of the fountain while we took a break between museums. There's some interesting artwork throughout the gardens to enjoy and snacks and drinks from the pavilion. The weather was perfect during our visit to grab a cold IPA and people watch- the perfect place for that! A bit pricey but you pay for location.

This restaurant serves Cafeteria style with lots of good choices. It moves along quickly. You can sit in or out. The outside seats are great in a 'nice day'. You really get the garden atmosphere.

This place looks cool, but it is a joke. SUPER EXPENSIVE! Food takes forever. It took almost 30-45 mins to get our food. This place is a glorified school lunch line. The food is DISGUSTING! We couldn't even finish our food. And, the workers screwed up our order twice. They don't seem competent to do their job. And, it wasn't clear how to order food. No direction. We waited in line forever without even being able to order food. I will not go here again and I would suggest avoid this place.

I ate at these Smithsonian cafes when I lived in the area 25 years ago and the food was lousy. Came back to visit and found that hasn't changed.

For a museum related dining extension, this place was perfectly fine. They serve food that is better than most of your run of the mill food that's served in other similar venues. Now is the food like an culinary delight? I wouldn't say so, but the pizza, hot dog and Asian salad I got all tasted fine and nobody in the family seemed to have issue. The pizza was hot, the hot dog was fine for the kids and the Asian salad was sizable and the dressing was fine. There's plenty of seating as well as some nice outdoor tables that offered a nice view of the sculpture garden. Unfortunately the bathroom here is pretty gross and the lines get kinda long as many tourists obviously hit this place up since it is located in a pretty nice environment.

Had the quiche Lorraine with fruit cup plus a fountain pop for less than $20. The quiche was more than I could finish and I did get a refill on the pop to go. The quiche was fresh and very good. Fruit cup was melon with a strawberry sliced on top. Seating inside was full but we were able to snag a table immediately. The line moved quickly. Would definitely recommend.

I don't like being negative, but y'all, this was not good. Went here with some family after checking out the National Archives and Sculpture Garden. It's worth it to keep walking. Location is gorgeous, can't be beat. The food would be quite easy to beat. Ordered the prosciutto sandwich, and couldn't even finish it. Bread was stale. The tomato just overpowered everything but somehow still had no flavor? Great chocolate cake though. If you're needing a quick bite in between museums, I'd grab that chocolate cake and walk elsewhere.

This cafe offers quick service and solid food options. Nothing too extraordinary but hits the spot for a quick and satisfying bite. I got the chicken tarragon salad sammie on wheat and the hubs got the Turkey, bacon and Swiss sammie. A side of chips and a very tasty brownie to share and we were satisfied. The customer service was fast and friendly!

Would like to review the food, unfortunately did not dine here. When we came in, it was near closing(sign outside said 5 but it's really 4 and it was 345 so I understand the time) and the very nice woman behind the counter was sure to inform her coworkers that "fucking white people always be lollygagging." so we went elsewhere.
