After seeing this constantly on social media, I stopped by here with my friend visiting from out of town! It was super crowded at Tyson's Galleria, but the wait wasn't too bad for this spot.Scolapasta has fresh pasta with a variety of options for sauces and customizations well. My friend and I picked the Radiatori with White Truffle sauce (no toppings), which was super delicious! Plenty of good mushrooms in there for umami as well. It's at a "food court", so there's plenty of seating, but it's really loud all around, if you're here on a weekend. It comes in a to go container, which is super nice to hold and utilize, and you can even walk around the mall and munch on it if needed! The sauce was super tasty mixed with the radiatori pasta shape, which was cooked al dente and had a magnificent texture. My friend commented on the speediness of preparations as well, since everything is made fresh right in front of you! It is also a great portion for two people to share (if you're carb-conscious).If you want a yummy spot to eat that's convenient and great value at the Tysons Galleria, stop by here for a quick bite!

I visited Scolapasta in Tysons Corner upon its opening, and while I was excited to try their offerings, my experience was a bit disappointing. We had to wait for about an hour to receive our pasta, which felt excessive, especially for a new restaurant. To add to the frustration, one of our orders was incorrect, which soured the experience a bit more. Overall, I was hoping for a more flavorful and satisfying dish, considering all the hype. However, I believe every place deserves a second chance. I plan to visit again, perhaps during a less busy time, to see if I can enjoy the pasta as I had expected!

Was doing some shopping in the mall and wanted to grab a quick bite. This is a fast casual food court spot, where you order from a counter then can grab a seat at a nearby table. Service was prompt and food came out very hot. This place did not disappoint. Their fresh pasta was sooooooo tasty. We had rigatoni with bolognese and the shrimp scampi with squid ink pasta. Both were delicious!I also love their packaging as it is very easy to eat on the go if you don't have time to sit.I will definitely revisit this spot when looking to grab a quick, tasty bite at Tyson's galleria.

Delicious fresh pasta made to order, the mushroom truffle pasta is divine! The food is carried out in a Chinese like to-go box similar to Honeygrow. There's no for here option to get the pasta on a plate! It's a bummer!Thee are 5 types of fresh pastas to order from ranging on the length and thickness from thin long noodles like spaghetti and tagliatelle to thicker smaller pastas like radiatore and casaprese and hollow pasta like rigatoni. There are 8 sauces to choose from pesto, creamy white sauces, and a few types of red tomato sauces with meat, herbs, and spices. You can add chicken and cheese on top as an upcharge. I enjoyed the twisty noodle Casaprese in the creamy white truffle sauce! The thicker noodle pasta was al dente and paired really well and absorbed the sauce, the mushrooms were on point. The sauce is a bit oily as there was a small pool of oil at the bottom. My kids enjoyed the thick Radiatore with Pesto sauce that had tiny granular chunks of pine nuts mixed in (my kids didn't even notice them!). While the pasta was tasty, I preferred the creamy white sauce.I wish there were some more options to add veggies and also to feature gnocchi or a ravioli. Great pasta place and look forward to coming back for the creamy white truffle sauce and trying out more pasta and sauce combinations!

Service here was super friendly and guided me to the perfect menu choice.I love that there is plenty of seatings that are comfortable for you to hang out at and have a nice meal of handmade pasta. (They make it right out in the open) This is a build your own pasta, you choose the type of noodle, the sauce, and option to add in protein. I ordered the Radiatori noodles with the Cacio E Pepe. I was afraid that the pasta would not be as flavorful but nope, full of perfect amount of creaminess and the freshly ground pepper was in the perfect size where it stood out.Perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat yet not having to sacrifice quality.

Sooo good! Fresh ingredients, quick service, and awesome taste. You can design your own pasta or order from 4 chef picks. This spot is in the upper food court past Shotted coffee bar. It can be tough to get a seat but there are bar side stools and some food court areas. It's inside a giant mall so you can find a seat elsewhere if need be.

Plenty of parking and awesome vibe in the co located area of Shotted and Andy's pizza in Tyson Galeria. The really cool thing is that they make the pasta in front of you after your order. It tasted fresh and delicious sauces. The meat was perfectly tender and finally had an actual taste of a chicken ( perhaps it was an organic chicken without and antibiotics and GMO!!). We ordered different pastas and sauces, and it all came steamy hot and flavorful. The only thing I am still wondering whether it is a good thing to be serving the food in boxes of carton or not. Made it feel like Italian streetfoodish if that is a thing. They struggled a bit with the rewards and perks so that's a minus in addition to that it was a bit pricey. But all in all I recommend taking tour over for the fresh pasta experience.

What a nice and unique addition to Tysons Galleria. It's pasta, chipotle style. You pick the pasta you want, then the sauce, and finally the toppings. They also have some preset chef's favorites. We tried the shrimp scampi which is a chef's favorite, along with radiatori with white truffle sauce and mozzarella, and rigatoni with arrabbiata sauce and mozzarella. My favorite out of the three was the radiatori with the white truffle sauce. The radiatori has a nice shape that soaks up all the sauce and it's very fun to eat. My second favorite was the rigatoni with the arrabbiata sauce. That sauce had a huge kick. It was good and I loved it. But if you're not used to spicy, I wouldn't recommend it. We came on a Sunday evening and it was packed. They did their best moving the line with awesome service and a smile on their faces. They ran out of meatballs and mushrooms to the truffle sauce. But we will try that next time! I miss Urban Space pre-Covid. But I am loving the new food venues that add so much personality to Tyson's Galleria.

They are rather new pasta place in Galleria Tysons mall.1. You just line up and order and pay just like fast food places. 2. No plates! Everything is given in a chinese to-go food like box. Never have I ever seen a pasta in this kinda box and it is very disappointing, especially for the price. 3. Service: apart from the person taking your order, you line up, you go and pick up your food, so you ARE your own server. But they ask for tip is truly outrageous. It bothers me. You gotta provide service to ask to be paid extra for it! Please don't say we cooked your food so tip us! 4. Ambience is kinda nice since it gets the corner spot, so lots of natural light and nice decor of Galleria. 5. No trash can or clear place to put your waste when done. Environmentally unfriendly considering even if you eat in, you get all that plastic just like you ordered to-go. And yes, I inquired to make sure this is the case always. Food didn't taste anything special and considering above mentioned reasons, I can't recommend this place.

Pasta in a box! Yay!?Just a little skeptical at first as pasta should never be served in a box but it turned out to be delicious! We got the truffle alfredo which was piping hot, oh so truffley, and creamy. The pasta came out super quickly and everything was delicious. I would def recommend this place but I will say it is a tad bit pricey for what I thought it would be.
