Sakura Grill

Sakura Grill seems to be a local favorite to get their sushi, maki, and take advantage of their lunch specials.Their menu is pretty extensive, offering various apps, salads, soup, sushi/sashimi/maki rolls, tempura, katsu, noodles, hibachi, and bento boxes.We came here for an early dinner, and we ordered:+a Filet Mignon Hibachi Dinner+a Shrimp Hibachi DinnerThese were served with a choice of soup or salad, and the dish comes with a side of the grilled veggies and fried rice.The star of the show was their yum yum sauce, as it was thick, creamy, and so good with the meal; the meal itself is okay - the proteins were cooked well, albeit the shrimp was slightly overcooked and was a bit rubbery.I didn't care much for the fried rice, as it was super bland, and even adding some of the yum yum sauce didn't help.Veggies could have been less 'wet', as it was pretty liquid-y.I'd probably try out their lunch version of the hibachi, as the price point here is a bit steep, considering the quality and the amount of food that is given.Staff were friendly, and the place itself is small, with a handful of tables and some counter seating.Located in the Rolling Valley shopping center, there's ample parking in the plaza lot.+great yum yum sauce!+friendly staff+located in the Rolling Valley shopping center+ample parking in the large plaza lot

Tried this out on a Wednesday night. The sushi was delicious- my kids ate three full rolls of California rolls. I had the veggie rolls and the peanut avocado rolls- a very delicious combo. My husband and son had the beef noodles and both said it was very yummy. The servers were all very nice and service was quick. The added bonus is it is so close to our house. We will definitely be back!

I always get the Sakura roll and it's amazing! The shrimp is always fried to perfection and the spicy mayo is the best mix to blend it all together. I have gotten it close to 7-8 times now and it's always consistently good and great quality. Their fried rice was incredible also. Can't wait to try more items off their menu!

Service was incredible! Food was meh.. it wasn't great, it wasn't bad, it was just okay. I might have ordered wrong and plan on going back but it was just bland. I just started working out at OneLife and I'm trying all the places in the shopping center. I'll give it another shot one day.

Small but pleasant restaurant in a suburban strip mall. Food is excellent and been eating sushi since 1975. The combo rolls - something I usually stay away from - a lobster roll and tempura shrimp version were delicious, perfectly balanced meals both hearty and delicate at the same time.Staff were very friendly as was our server and the overall dinner experience was delightful. Great find worth returning to.

The restaurant has a beautiful layout, and they play amazing music. The staff is super friendly and makes for a great experience every time. The food is also amazing, perfect food every single time.

Food never disappoints, service is great, and ambiance might be a little small but its cozy and is always a good experience. I do recommend visiting this place!

this place is amazing! It is a hidden gem. I come here pretty often for dinner, everytime I come, the staff is always friendly, attentive. I always order sushi and I get surprised everytime (I've been trying different rolls) Tonight I had a Hot Lover roll, it shocked me! the shrimp is always cooked in a good temperature, crispy, and it has spicy salmon as well which is a mild flavor and both the salmon and shrimp go well together making it a very special taste, flavorful and simply delicious. I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a good sushi place (which is safe and they care about your health, everything looks nice and neat) Looking forward to trying their new role Dancing Witch, it sounds interesting, specially for halloween season!

Wow. I am in this shopping center all the time and never stopped in. My husband told me a few weeks ago he had lunch there and it was great. This week i decided to try it. I rarely write reviews and rarely eat sushi..... i doordashed Sakura 3 times since Tuesday and ate in the restaurant once this week. So SO good. I cant get enough! I love the spicy crunchy shrimp rolls and the shrimp tempura rolls. My husband loves the dynamite roll and the yellowtail, salmon and octopus sashimi. Everything is so fresh! May go back tomorrow!
