If it were down to service, I may have given it a 4. However, it was Valentine's Day and as someone who has been in the industry, I get it. Service was slow, we never got our sushi, but hey, things happen. BUT PJ! Man...not only hilarious but and excellent chef. Super interactive and honestly saved a mediocre (again, I'm being generous in saying that, as we waited an hour to see a chef after our reservation, I had to ask 3 times for a second glass of wine and never received our sushi) into a phenomenal time. He really saved this experience for us on Valentine's Day! I will say, though I had negatives, this is a place just trying to accommodate an unusual surplus of customers. Everyone was very nice and we will definitely be back. Thank you PJ for an amazing 10/5 star experience!

I've always enjoyed teppanyaki style restaurants for both good food and entertainment but my recent experience here REALLY disappointed me. My reservation was for 6:30 pm but when I arrived, the host stand was completely chaotic. We struggled to make our way to the front to check in for our table. When we did, we were told it would be a 10-15 min wait until we could be seated. I was upset that we had to wait even though we booked in advance, but I understood that it was the dinner rush on a Friday night so we decided to wait. As the hosts went back and forth preparing tables and seating guests, it was abundantly clear that they had no clear direction or communication. Tables were promised to parties who were waiting that were then taken by another host. Staff would argue and question each other in front of guests as people became more and more impatient. After 20 mins, my wife went to the host stand to inquire about our status and we were told that the next table would be ours. But when one became available, another host took another party to that table instead. It was a whole hour before our table was called. And even when they did, the staff accidentally told too many people that they could sit and people quickly became upset that there weren't enough chairs. It was a disaster. The food and performance were perfectly fine. But my experience had already been soured by the lack of communication and chaos. I would have stayed to complain to a manager about my experience, which I almost never do, but I just wanted to leave as soon as possible.

TLDR - flavorful food, entertaining show! Vibes - traditional Teppanyaki restaurant with little stalls for private dining that looked cool/unique. Our chef was really funny making the entire experience entertaining. Food - I usually think all Teppanyaki tastes pretty similar but my husband said this was the most flavorful he's had! The portions were good for the price.

Interesting hibachi experience. Usually you would cook the things that cook fastest first, but nope! This guy cooked the steaks first. Meanwhile the shrimp are sizzling away. After the steaks were done and served, he cut up the chicken. THEN he turned to the shrimp. Butter, seasoning, lemon, TERIYAKI sauce?! What! WTH!!! Never in my entire probably 30 years of going to teppenyaki restaurants have I ever seen teriyaki sauce put on the shrimp. Which were SO done. So rubbery. You could have bounced them across the room. The rice was good except seemed to have garlic (?) though I didn't see anyone add it. Overall not terrible but not good either.

We had a great hibachi experience at this new restaurant in Eisenhower. There's plenty of parking and it's so spacious inside. When you walk in, there are several tables and a couple booths toward the front of the restaurant for dining in. In the back half of the restaurant is where they have the hibachi tables. Service was great and so friendly. They had a weekly happy hour where wine and sake bottles are half off. We took advantage of that. We really enjoyed the hibachi. Our chef was talented and so funny. We also tried out a sushi roll and it was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu

Let's start off by saying this new spot use to be where my old favorite hibachi place was but with change comes acceptance. This place was completed changed, renovated and done beautifully inside. Wow! I was impressed and amazed at the upgrades and difference this place looks. Since, this is fairly new, the place wasn't packed but we figured why not give it a try. We were seated quickly and provided a menu. Nice variety of food options, I just wish there was a drink menu and more drink options but hopefully that will change soon.APPETIZER***SHRIMP VEGETABLE TEMPURA***Decent, extremely crispy and ok but much better with sauce provided, not something I would prob get next time tho. ($10)DRINK ***JAPANESE PEACH SODA***Very unique glass soda bottle with crystal ball inside, hard to open at first but I definitely loved the taste just wish it came with way more lol. ($3)ENTREE ***LOBSTER & SHRIMP HIBACHI DINNER***So delish and definitely a great price ($35) which usually way more expensive other places. Everything was cooked the way I asked with a lot of flavor and a great amount of food. I had a lot leftover to take home for lunch the next day.DESSERT ***NO BDAY DESSERT***(since it was closing :( made me sad but mb next time. Now, let me end by saying the CHEF was AMAZING, he went above and beyond and made my Meal perfect! His energy and conversation was everything I swear and 1 of the main reasons I'll be coming back. There was only a total of 3 of us and he treated it like a full table. Very attentive and listened to our request and did it was ease and a smile. CHEF NINJA was his name and he's new to the DMV... he def fits in well and his talents will exceed prob his own expectations. A millions stars to him, he deserves employee or Chef of the month I swear. This place def hired the right person for the job. Oh the bar area is so nice and they even have private dinner tables for non-hibachi experience. I wanna try that one day, so cute and intimate. Overall, we will be coming back sooner than later!!!!

We had a great time here. The service was great with a wonderful atmosphere. I specially love the privacy of the booths. My husband and I felt like we were dating for the first time. The hibachi area had a lot of business as well. The food was really good too. 100% recommend this place.

It was a decent Japanese steakhouse. We ordered what you would typically order, steak, shrimp, chicken. The only recommendation would be to ask if the guest wants teriyaki sauce or at minimum dial back a little.

You have to go to this AMAZING Hibachi. They are off Eisenhower in Alexandria and excellent service from the entrance until you leave. The place is nice and very clean. Great seating. Chang was our server and he made sure we were taken care of. Our cook was funny and kept trying to give us Saki, which we didn't deny. Delicious food! Will definitely return, even driving from Fredericksburg, we will come back.
