I met with old colleagues for coffee at the Rowhouse in Navy Yard. Nestled in the lobby area of the Cambria Hotel, it is walking distance from the Nationals Park and a block away from the Audi Field. Parking is a mess at this time while the main garage and immediate vicinities are under construction, and the surrounding areas are residences. Street parking is very limited, so if you can Uber or metro here, do it.Crystal was our server, and she is wonderful! Courteous and attentive from start to finish. We wanted something simple, and her recommendations were excellent. We'll be sure to stop by once the Nats and DC UNITED ignite again for the season!

Food was great. Drinks tasted like juice. Serves was extremely slow for no reason because there was only 2 people at the bar and the my table was just my significant other and myself.

4 Stars because staff was very friendly and nice and my burger was tasty... For me, I ordered their burger which was pretty tasty. Unfortunately, my Fries weren't crispy. Two folks I sat next to didn't care for their dishes and felt it was over priced. Such a nice ambiance in this restaurant/bar / lounge but the food didn't rise to the occasion.... My friend that arrived before me experienced warm beer... beer that was tapped out... all in the same sitting... Manager recommendations.Upgrade the food that comes from the kitchen.... Turnover at the bar needs to be better so the beer is always cold. Also being sold out of certain menu items by 7pm isn't a good thing 3 people came in and asked for the fish dish and they were out. On a positive note, our Bartender made great drinks and was friendly.

Service and coffee was good. I liked the vibe of the place as it was connected to our hotel. The biscuit was fine, nothing special but not bad. The home-fries were solid.

Wonderful breakfast, was staying in the hotel. Omelette was light and fluffy, toast and bacon was perfect. Host was friendly and polite. Top notch restaurant.

I ate here twice and both meals were good. The wait staff was amazing. The food actually was pretty good from the presentation to the taste. The chef she was A1 I see this place has a low rating but honestly maybe it needs a lil razzle dazzle to it.

I was skeptical when I noticed mine was the first review here, but after visiting, I understand why. However, despite no reviews, I still wanted to give this place a chance. We came here while waiting to attend the afternoon Nationals games. It was 1045 am on a rainy Saturday. The restaurant was located in a hotel. We entered the main dining area where they were still serving breakfast. Apparently, they also served brunch on the rooftop. The vibe was very lackadaisical, which I knew wasn't a good sign, but again, I gave the benefit of the doubt. There was one waitress behind the desk and another one bussing tables at an incredibly glacial pace. There were only a few customers there, all of which had already been served and appeared to have been there a while. The server at the front said we could seat ourselves so we walked through the area looking for a nice table only to discover that several of them had not been cleaned off in a long time. We finally sat down at one of the short chairs next to the window. The front server brought us a menu. We informed her we wanted to wait for the lunch menu at 11 but would like a cup of coffee to start. She asked if we wanted to sit at one of the tables and if so, she'd clean it off for us. We opted for the table, so she cleaned it off and then brought us two cups of coffee. We kindly requested cream and sugar, and she agreed to bring us some. Now normally, this is something that would take about a minute even on a busy day, but for some reason this wasn't a high priority for our server. We sat there patiently for a few minutes (as our coffee got cold) waiting for her to bring us cream and sugar but instead, she went behind the counter and dawdled. Finally, after a few minutes, and noticing our coffee was getting cold, I borrowed one of the sugar containers off an unoccupied table, hoping she'd see and get the hint. We sat there another few minutes until she finally started walking over with the cream. She came to our table and was literally about to pour the cream in my cup when she stopped, left our table without pouring, and started asking the customers down from us (that had already eaten) if they needed anything. We thought she would turn around and come back to us, but instead, she kept walking the opposite direction around the restaurant, said something to the other waitress, and then kept going until she disappeared out of our view. By this point, our coffee had gotten lukewarm and I started to increasingly more annoyed because we had been very polite and patient up until this point. At that point, it had been about a good 15 minutes until my husband finally had to get up and bring her back to our table. She came back over with him and finally brought us the cream. We then asked for a spoon to stir, since she ALSO never brought us silverwareof either. We waited another couple minutes for her to finally bring us silverware and, an updated menu. She left our table and we took the next few minutes to look over the menu. The food options were pretty minimal, and the prices were incredibly steep for what was offered. The Rowhouse burger alone was $20, which turned out to be one of the most expensive items on the menu! As we waited to place our order, (by this point it had been more than half an hour just for us to get some silver and a cup of coffee), we realized we'd been forgotten again, and being that I hadn't eaten anything all morning, my stomach couldn't handle waiting another whole hour for her to come back to the table and maybe get our food back sometime before the game started. We finally decided to abandon the mission and we walked out to find another place nearby with better service. I honestly had hope for this place but as someone who's worked in the service industry, this experience was disappointing. Especially, because it seems like the food probably would be good but for the price, we would have paid, the lackadaisical and flippant service wouldn't be worth the money.

We came here prior to a DC United game and did not regret it. The restaurant is in a new hotel, and the decorations and ambiance were up-to-date and pretty nice/relaxing. We had a party of three and ordered the red snapper, chicken, and a Caesar salad. The snapper and the chicken were particularly good. We also ordered the fries as an appetizer, which came with a really good mambo sauce. We got a couple glasses of wine with dinner, and I have to say, they were a little stingy on the pour. I think we ended up getting only about four or five ounces per glass. The service wasn't too bad, although maybe a little slow. We think they were short-staffed that night. We weren't in a huge hurry, so it didn't bother us. Overall, it was a good experience, and we'd try it again.

Had this place at the hotel I was staying at. My friend said the coffee was not good and the sandwhich he had was not the best because of the dryness. Waiters also were very inattentive.

A group of us had dinner at the RowHouse on April 15, 2023. When I returned home and checked my credit card statement, I was charged for more than $600 for our dinner--more than twice what I know I spent and signed for. I left several messages for the person in the Business Office that were not returned. When I finally reached "Nicola" in the Business Office, she told me she would send me a copy of my signed receipt the next morning. That was over a week ago and I have not heard from her. It is not possible for her to send me a copy of a signed receipt with that charge because it doesn't exist! I have contested that charge with my credit card company, but I am not happy that someone in the restaurant has stolen more than $300 from me.
