Had such a memorable birthday dinner at rose's luxury! I highly recommend dining here for their tasting menu. The menu changes periodically but it seems that their lychee salad is a staple and has stayed around. Everything we got was uniquely made. I loved the adult happy meal which was a wagyu burger with truffles and a special drink. All drinks were fantastic as well btw. What was somehow even better than the food was the service-- the service is superb here, some of the best I've had in DC!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST experience I've had in DC dining scene so far. Rose's Luxury offered a tapas-like experience, with a set price per person, each person picking a handful of dishes. Since the menu is on the smaller side, if you can come with about 4 people, you should be able to try everything on the menu. It was just the two of us, so we got to try half the menu and every single dish was a HIT. The adult happy meal even came with an alcoholic beverage which I thought was fun!Chef created flavor profiles I have never had before and it was definitely a one of a kind experience. I truly enjoyed it, and I didn't mind spending $$$ for the kitchen team's effort in making such creative dishes. Where else would I be able to try such food?!Rose's was impressive and I will certainly be back again once the menu refreshes. Thank you for a great night out. It was memorable!

Five out of five for Rose's! We've been meaning to go to Rose's Luxury for the longest time and we were finally able to make it out -- may I say, I was IMPRESSED! The overall vibe was hip. For just over $100 per person, the experience felt young & fun, more so than your traditional sit-down restaurant. Loved that they have their Lychee salad as their staple. Flavor combo was something I have never expected, yet worked so well. I wouldn't even know how to explain the layers and layers of flavor that work fabulously together. My second favorite dish of the night was their avocado tuna salad. Shaped like half an avocado, the salad felt like a tuna roll in my mouth!! Fresh fish, too.Their pasta dishes were all really great, their cocktails were yummy & strong-ish. They even packed us a dessert dish to go, after a dessert dish!! All in all, we had such a unique experience at Rose's Luxury and tasted some creative dishes we would never attempt to recreate at home. They switch up their menu, so I would certainly love to be back! Compliments to the chef!!!

We haven't been here in a long time. The style has changed a bit-- no more a la carte, but also no more waiting in line because you can make reservations. And we were able to make a reservation just a week in advance (albeit the early bird dinner timeslot on a Saturday). The food was still carefully thought out and very good. They asked for allergies and very specifically ensured we knew what we could/could not eat based on our allergies -- yesterday I learned that togarashi (a Japanese seasoning) tends to have orange peel, which is what I'm allergic to.... The non-alcoholic lychee lemon drink was really refreshing and not too sweet. Very well done.1) I missed their soft rolls with butter, something I always loved and remember. But the truffled Madeleine was incredible. Crispy, slightly moist, truffle flavor. 2) I chose the pork and lychee salad-- they used to bring this out regardless of whether you ordered it. Now, if you've been here you know what to expect. Same wild combination of flavors. Loved it. My spouse chose the tuna tartare stuffed avocado-- that was pretty good too. Tuna mixed with tortilla chips, topped with smashed avocado. On the mushy side but the tortilla chips for texture help. This wasn't on the menu but they also brought out charred cauliflower on a bed of yogurt I think? That was very good. 3) we were to each choose a pasta but we both wanted the lamb Manfredi so we didn't share and each got our own. I had a LITTLE bit of buyers remorse because the calamari shaped pasta looked really good, but this and the other option were meatless and we have meat mentality lol4) here we wanted different things but were supposed to share... And we asked if it was possible for us to both choose the course. We had to pay extra for one of the courses, but they made it happen. I got the fried pork which was like a schnitzel with a slightly tangy sauce on top. I loved the tea cup with the salad in it. I wasn't a huge fan of the fried pig ears but my husband loved them. He got the adult happy meal- he loved the burger; got the truffle upgrade. I loved the ranch-dusted fries, and especially dipped in the cheese.5) we picked the "least sweet" and small portioned dessert -- the corn bread ice cream. It surprisingly came in a tea cup- 'like a latte.' The whipped foam on top was slightly tangy like a sour cream, and the ice cream was buttery, and the chunks of corn bread went perfectly. Really happy with the choice. Then for our anniversary they brought out a coconut sorbet (not sure if they said sorbet --it might've been an ice cream) with a candle. And it was the most creamy thing, great with the fruit and a little bits of stuff I don't remember on the bottom. Presentation was lovely.Glad my husband thought about Rose's I don't think I've been since before COVID, and the food and service is as good as ever. Definitely deserving of a Michelin star or more in my opinion.

This is going to be a long one, but trust me--it's worth every word of praise I'm about to give! My partner took me to Rose's Luxury for my birthday last year, and let me tell you--it was a time! This Michelin-starred gem in D.C. exceeded every expectation, and I'm still thinking about it to this day. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Every single dish was a masterpiece, with flavors so perfectly balanced they felt almost magical. Some standouts? The coconut ice cream with caviar (yes, you read that right), the Korean-style ribs, the Spring Lamb Manfredi, and of course, their famous Pork and Lychee Salad. There were more, but honestly, I lost track in the best way possible--each bite was just that good. And I have to give a huge shoutout to our waitress, Ridley. She was absolutely phenomenal--kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. She went out of her way to make my birthday feel extra special, and her service was truly top-tier.When I say 10/10 across the board, I mean it. Atmosphere? Impeccable. Service? Flawless. Food? A dream.I could go on and on, but instead, I'll just say this: Do yourself a favor, make a reservation, and experience Rose's Luxury for yourself. You won't regret it.

Finally made it to Rose's Luxury to celebrate me and my boyfriend's anniversary and let me just say--it absolutely lives up to the hype. This was a great experience from the setting, to the food and the service. My favorite dish if the night? The pork and lychee salad! I can't even fully explain the flavor--it's sweet, savory, tangy, a little spicy--it's really complex and absolutely amazing. Honestly, one of the best appetizers I've ever had in my life. Our subsequent courses including the lamb manfredi and the adult happy hour meal equally delectable and delicious. The service was top-notch too. Our server, Bonnie, was so attentive and genuinely warm. She made sure we had everything we needed and even surprised us with a few dishes. If you're into trying unique dishes and having a dining experience that feels special, do yourself a favor and book a table here. Rose's Luxury is 100% worth it!

Came to Rose's luxury on Valentine's Day after making reservations 2-3 weeks in advance. Was my second time coming in over 6 years. I may have done a take out in between. They change their menu quite often and it's no surprise that they are a Michelin star restaurant with their excellent service and carefully prepared food. However a few things caught my attention this time around. First thing was that cleanliness was lacking. I noticed crumbs on my chair prior to sitting down when I was seated right at open. The linen napkin smelled like an old rag, stale oil, washed with only water and left to air dry in a pile. I didn't even bother asking for another linen bc my partner's linen also smelled terrible. I just used it to wipe the seat before I sat down. Went to the bathroom to wash my hands before and after. Since it was Valentine's Day, they had a prefixed menu in which everything was chosen besides the entree and dessert. The starter was the Lychee salad which never leaves the menu as I was told. It was refreshing and had a nice spicy kick to it. However, it was very salty. In fact everything served in this meal was overly seasoned with salt. It took away from enjoying the ingredients. The seafood tower had mussels, kusshi oysters and prawn. The mussels and oysters had a pretty fishy taste. Probably not fresh bc it was prepped beforehand. I saw a whole row of these seafood towers while I walked past the kitchen when I got to the restaurant 30 minutes before I even got this served. The prawns were delicious and went well with the sauce. The Italian style beef sauce mafaldine pasta was probably my least favorite dish. Maybe it is a fresh pasta thing. The pasta felt overdone, it was doughy and mushy. The sauce was also heavily seasoned with salt. I kept chugging water during this meal that my cup got refilled every time there was a new dish. I normally do not drink much water during a meal. My favorite part of the experience this evening was the beef tenderloin. The meat was extremely tender and it was not seasoned too heavily so it really made the meat shine. The hash brown block was nothing too special besides being fried in duck fat which gave it a crispy texture. Dessert we chose their cream puff. It had hints of pistachio, white chocolate, cheese, yuzu and the puff itself had a nice texture. Overall, the dessert was a nice little sweet treat, but I wondered about the chocolate soufflé that I didn't get to try. Before leaving, they gave us a valentine's day goodie bag with two muffins inside along with a tiara. I had some high expectations returning to Rose's luxury however I was pretty disappointed by the lack of cleanliness, overwhelming amount of salt used, and the cost. It was not worth $400+ for the quantity and quality of the food served. The food was way too salty for me. The service was excellent.

We've been to Roses about three or four times back when there were no reservations and we had a great dinner each time. We decided to come back with some family to try things out. Reservation for 4 at 9PM on Saturday was easy to get and we got it 3 days before. We arrived 20 minutes early and they were more than nice enough to seat us. The menu was very different to us since it was coursed out per person. We all decided to do the "Wanna Party?" Option for drinks which is their wine pairing. We ordered their famous Pork and Lychee for the table, all their pastas (Tteokbokki, Lamb Manfredi, Sweet Pea Pasta), and two Adult Happy Meals. We got their truffled Madeline's to start and they were so buttery and well truffle-y. On our first full course, we got the Pork and Lychee Salads along with a gift of Squash Blossom Rangoons which were very good. The salads were delicious as I remember. Everyone at the table raved about it. They accidentally brought me the Charred Cabbage initially but let us keep it and brought me the salad. Who knew cabbage could taste this good. The pastas were also a hit around the table. You couldn't find a bad thing in these dishes. The tteokbokki was sweet and spicy and might've had the best sauce. The sweet pea and the lamb pastas were also so well done. The Adult Happy Meals were to share but they were more than enough for two people per meal. We got one of them covered in truffle and bechamel sauce and it just made it so much richer. The fries being dusted with ranch powder was a nice touch. The desserts we got, the Tres Leches cake and the Mole Negro Sticky Toffee Pudding were so decadent and great to share. The cake was huge and almost too big to finish. We were so stuffed after. The service was A1 from everyone who served us. The pairings were spot on and delicious each time. Definitely worth the add on. The gift bag with the tote and juice was an amazing touch. I forgot how much I loved this place and this dinner helped re-solidify my love for Rose's. Hope I can come back soon!
