Roll Play

After a long flight from SFO to DC, Roll Play was exactly what I needed! I ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls (which were buy-one-get-one-free) and the chicken pho, and both were incredible.The chicken pho was like a warm hug in a bowl--comforting, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. It was the perfect meal to help me unwind after a tiring trip. The shrimp and pork spring rolls were equally delightful with a great balance of textures and flavors.To top it all off, they threw in two of their magic sauces as freebies with my UberEats order! I haven't tried them yet, but I know they'll be amazing when I get back home.Roll Play truly hit the spot with their fresh, flavorful food and thoughtful touches. I'll definitely be ordering from here again on my next visit to DC!

I recently stopped by Roll Play and had the chance to try their spring rolls. I got three: caramelized pork belly and shrimp. The rolls were hefty, thick, and definitely filling, but I found there was a bit too much noodle (bun) inside for my liking. Personally, I would have preferred more veggies to balance things out.The protein portions were good, but I would have loved the option to add extra protein for an additional cost.Service was quick, making it a great pit stop if you're in a hurry. However, if you're planning to dine in, the seating can feel a bit tight. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would definitely return!

This is a small pho place that had some good deals with UberEats.Food - The oxtail pho was good, but it was very unhealthy and had a bit of a strange aftertaste. The spring rolls were not good.Service - You just order by yourself and get your food from the counter yourself.Parking - They have a very small parking lot outside, though most of the parking spots there are for other businesses.Overall, this place is decent, but there are definitely better options.

Rollplay just joined the In Kind app community which is just amazing!! That means I can get food at a discounted price (I add money to the In Kind app and get extra bonus money!) Today In Kind sent me a $25 gift card to use and I placed a delivery order from Rollplay! It was amazing! Food (5/5): I love the fresh spring rolls sooooo much! I get them custom so I can add the crispy roll ($.99 upcharge) which takes them huge summer rolls to the next level :) We also love the spring rolls and now everything in their menu was cooked in 100% avocado oil! Woo hoo!!Service (5/5): delivery was quick and efficient!

I love this place! I always order take out. Their beef pho is good but their spring rolls garlic shrimp with spicy peanut sauce is the bomb !!! I love the mint, the crunch, and the garlic shrimp. Just a great combo. Just make sure you check your order before you leave because when they are busy they forget some items. I took off a star for this

WOW!! I haven't been inside Roll Play since 2019! And I regret it! I've been avoiding it only because I'm trying to stay in Keto or Low Carb and of course looking at their amazing Banh Mi and noodles aren't helpful! Lol But I was shocked when I saw that they had a Cauliflower rice option for a while ( I was told that they just canceled it because it wasn't selling well!) And Shirataki low carb noodles! Only 2 NET CARBS!!! YES!!!I made a super Pho! I chose OxOxtail meat, Angus beef slices, lemon grass chicken and Shrimp! In a spicy Oxtail Bone Broth! With white onions, cilantro, scallions, lime and basil! And Sate chili oil !My Coworker got the power bowl and a Vietnamese iced coffee and he said it was pretty good!I love their hours! There is no time in the day that you might need Roll Play and you might find them closed! I love the huge and amazing options on the menu!Customer service was amazing and they nicely answered all my questions and they also fulfilled my order accurately !Finally I'm sipping a Pho that is really made put of bones like the Oxtail pho !! The soup/pho was tasty! Full of Aroma , fatty and delicious ! All the meats were phenomenal ! I really want to thank them for the amazing low carb noodles idea!The store isn't big, seats are limited and the ambiance is casual!Try it, vote for the review , message me, or compliment me with any comment or question, and don't forget to ... One of the highlights of my DC trips is the foodie scene. After settling into our hotel, we decided to order in using DoorDash, and I always opt toward restaurants with buy-one-get-one deals so we can get a little more bang for our buck.We stumbled upon Roll Play and their BOGO menu. We ordered the spicy oxtail pho, Thai basil chicken, fried rice, and Vietnamese coffee.Everything was delicious! The pho was flavorful (both hot and cold (since I saved some to eat this evening), meat was tender, the chicken was crispy and complemented perfectly by the sriracha aioli, and the coffee was strong (good option after our long day of traveling from the West Coast). Everything was packaged perfectly for a delivery order. I couldn't have asked for a better first meal in DC.

I used Roll Play to cater my special event, and my guests nearly finished off everything! Ashley and Tuyet, the co-owners, responded quickly to my requests and took care of my group from beginning to end. I like that all dishes were enjoyed by our Asian and Western guests alike, and this is due to the impeccable grilling of the meat and seasoning of the dishes. The banh mi sandwiches had a pleasant glaze that "popped" when taking a bite. All spring rolls were very fresh, and the sauces balanced with the right amount of savory, sweet, and tangy. The Mom's fried rice had pleasant bits of steak, chicken, and shrimp-- all enhanced by the seasoning. I've had much banh mi in my life, and fast casual is a delicate archetype to nail. Roll Play threaded that need on flavor, service, and price. I highly recommend stopping by to get your kick.

Roll play is so great that I came back the next day for more. Their spicy vegan broth is delish and I love the low carb noodle option. I wish they didn't use plastic containers but I understand it's tough to have another option. The place inside has limited seating, so not the best dine in option. The service is fantastic, so friendly and kind.

I love Vietnamese food. Banhmi is an elite sandwich. My favorite is Banhmi DC in Falls Church. Roll play's Banhmi is okay. The sandwich was packed with ingredients but nothing really stood out. The meat was super dry. The bread was nothing special. The sandwich overall was really greasy.I also tried the summer roll with garlic shrimp- good!
