Came here for happy hour, great prices, laid back atmosphere, and great music streaming to kick back and enjoy one or all of their 12 tv's.

Came for a group meet up, so first time here. Sat down for thirty minutes and never got service. I approached a bartender to order and she, middle aged blonde, yelled at me that there were other people and I would need to wait.I guess thirty minutes isn't patient enough to be a patron here.Definitely my last time, and sad because I love karaoke.

Kinda surprised at the low ratings for this place as we found this place to be extremely fun! Was it a bit sketchy? Yes. A bit sus? Yup. We're we questioning our decisions when we pulled up? Yes, again. But we think that was the part of the appeal. We figured we would stop by and call it early night before our morning flight, but things started picking up, and we couldn't leave the fun times behind. Getting there before the karaoke was clutch- the bar wasn't as crowded, and there were plenty of seats left. About 20 min before karaoke started, this place got packed! We weren't brave enough to sign up and sing with the mic but the crowd was awesome! The drinks kept flowing and we joined in singing with the crowd a few times.Don't let the looks of this place care you away. It's a local divey spot buy being du unassuming is what really made this place special!

So I met up with a partner of mine that lives in the area here because it was close to the VRBO lol service was OK but the lady was by herself. Drinks were OK and the food was cool as well. They started the karaoke and it just got way too loud. Anyway, check this place out. I think it gets really busy on the weekends. They have TVs to watch football game so that was good.

This is THE neighborhood bar! Drinks: reasonably priced! Food: rotating specials from the guys in the kitchen, with old bay wings and chicken tenders to soak up the drinks! Staff: love them! They know the regulars and show plenty love to them, even on the busiest nights, while not neglecting tourists and new patrons. And last but not least (probably should have been first), karaoke EVERY NIGHT, 9:30p - 130a with the bar closing totally at 2. EVERY NIGHT. This spot is a King St staple! One of the better karaoke acoustics you will find in the city.

Karaoke starts every night at 9:30. You know I love myself a good karaoke... song list is awesome, and it's the classic open-audience way of signing up on a sheet of paper with your name on song choice... except it's $5. This is the only place where I have ever experienced paying for karaoke outside of booking private rooms. The only other open experience that I had to pay for was at dueling piano bars. Tip -- of course, but to mandate it seems like a bit much :-/. There were a couple of other things that were red flags for me... when I went up to inquire about singing, a couple was singing a song and kinda... screaming... and I heard the DJ say "if they scream again I'm cutting their mic." You're making folks pay just to talk behind their backs... to me that's not a good look. I opted not to sing myself, but I observed some friends sign up, and they were intentionally pushed down on the queue because while they may have signed up first, others paid before them. Karaoke is my biggest de-stressor, and it's supposed to be a carefree and fun experience, so this whole transactional bit doesn't sit well. All that to say, Rock It Grill advertises itself as a karaoke bar, and I personally don't think it's the best place for it with all I said above. But other than that... it's a great place for food and drinks. Chips and guac and wings are good, and the drinks aren't bad prices! The place is a hike from where I live, so I'm not sure when I will return next.

I went in to eat and the server asked to hold our card while we ate. It was scary and creepy all at once. It literally felt like he was trying to steal my information and was proud to tell me about it to my face.

Last night we ate at your establishment and weren't asked to provide a C.C. to hold physically & in the system. Tonight, we returned because the food was great. But.... The server ask for a C.C. to physically hold on order to order. We decided to leave because it wasn't necessary the night before. Identity Theft is increasing. The policy of giving a C.C. to be taken out of site is unacceptable. Scanners are used to steal identification.

Make the cost worth it. I spent 2.5 hrs & cover to sing 1 song & didn't even get the money back I paid. Disappointed & sad I used to talk the location up so much. Staying home w/a $5 lottery ticket would've been time better spent. Don Fisher didn't do his job very well, nor did I get my money's worth. Bartenders were dismissive; considering what they have time work with; stellar
