Rien Tong Thai Asian Restaurant & Sushi Bar - Arlington

Food had some weird flavor and fountain drink soda tastes weird. It was near by my place so i wanted to check it out but i regretted so much. Waitress wasnt neither nice nor rude. When the restaurant is empty, you should just avoid it. Sorry that I can't leave the nice review

Come to this Thai restaurant today. Have a great time with the delicious Thai food! The restaurant has sushi bar too! Also the parking so convenience. There has lots of of parking in front of the restaurant!

I will be totally frank here - some of the other reviews I have read are what lowered my rating down (perhaps by 1 star). I can tell based on these reviews as well as by google reviews that this place is very much a hit or miss. With that being said, this is my opinion - Service - our server was incredibly sweet and attentive. However, she was also the sushi chef. WTF?Food - my partner and I stopped in for a few basic rolls as an appetizer (so we didn't try anything exotic or crazy). We both enjoyed them - no complaints and reasonably priced. I also got a thai tea with boba which I liked!Atmosphere - odd, as it was dinner time and we were there with one other person (this restaurant is in a pretty popular area). It seemed clean and nice though. I actually think we would return for a basic roll or two. As my rating suggests, this place is just "okay," and I think they could likely improve by responding (nicely and by taking action) to suggestions that others have written about.

Should've checked the reviews first. It was horrible. Bad food, slow service, broken AC. Absolutely terrible.

I ordered drunken noodles on DoorDash from here. There was no flavor whatsoever. I asked for spicy and there was no spice. Barely any peppers or basil was added. I requested a refund. Maybe this was just a bad night but I wouldn't order from here again.

Ordered take out for delivery and upon a couple bites unfortunately had to throw away our whole order. All of the rolls had a funky sour taste to them.

I worked late tonight and wanted to find some quick takeout. I checked UberEats and saw that I was about a block from Rien Tong and could order for pickup in fifteen minutes, so I figured I'd give it a try.I only ordered Pad Thai, which is rarely the dish where a restaurant truly soars or face plants, and took it to go, so there's a lot about the restaurant that I didn't experience, but they said my food would be ready in fifteen minutes. About fourteen minutes later, I got a notification that it was ready to go. I walked in within a minute of that, and my food was very neatly packaged and ready for me at the front of the restaurant. The pad Thai was pretty good. The serving size was right. I think the pad Thai was $13.50, which isn't cheap in a sane world but is pretty reasonable for Arlington.There are a bunch of good Thai places in Arlington and I'm partial to a couple of the others that I've been going to for awhile for when I'm going out of my way for a meal. But, Rien Tong executed perfectly on what I wanted from a quick takeout order. I'll definitely be back for that, and I'll probably give them a shot for a dine-in meal more adventurous/extensive than a pad Thai order in the future.

When I got to the restaurant I checked in on Yelp and was notified that I was eligible for a free miso soup or free edamame! I was so excited! However the waitress told me that the deal was no longer valid and the manager no longer honored the Yelp deal. I was bummed because they provided false advertisement and also because it doesn't cost them much to give a bowl of miso soup then fix the deal so customers aren't disappointed. The food was alright as was the service. Probably won't be coming back

Food, service and atmosphere was great! We will come again. We had the chicken Thai rice, fried, brussel sprouts, fried cauliflower, and beef bulgogi salad. The presentation was good, portions were adequate, and tasty, delicious, amazing infusion of flavors.
