Enjoy refreshing Coconut Hot Pot at Rice Pot Cuisine ! Specializing in Authentic Asian Cuisine, the dishes are made fresh and served so beautifully on the lazy Susan tables! I am so impressed with the rich flavor of the coconut in the broth and how all the flavors come together! Loving the space here with the nice decor! Service was so lovely as the owner reminded me of my grandma and she was serving me some hot pot!! What we Ordered! *Coconut Chicken Hot Pot *Roasted Hong Kong Style Duck *Lucky Family *Mapo Tofu *Coconut Juice

Food is good flavorful but service is a bit slow. Plenty of seating available for large or small groups. They renovated inside but not as busy as they could be.

Dine in maybe once every other month or so. Better than delivery for sure. Service is so so. Usual order is lobster, egg drop soup, baby clams in black bean sauce and a veggie. Today the small lobster didn't have much meat. But usually pretty good.

It's been a couple years since I've been here and sadly it has gone down hill.We arrived on a Saturday around noon. The service was incredibly slow... worse it's been. Servers seem to be women in their 40s-50s so I cut them some slack. Ordered a handful of dishes. My roast duck came out BURNT. It usually has a nice, attractive, golden brown color, but this time it was charred black. Took a bite and confirmed that it was burnt because it felt like I was biting into a tire. Rubbery, burnt, and small. My salt & pepper shrimp looked old. To make it worse, we are almost finished with our first few dishes and the chow fun & watercress comes out like 15 minutes later. This defeats the purpose of "family style" because all the dishes did not come out together. Chow fun had no color, just bland, and skimping on the beef. Terrible experience overall.I'm just assuming their Chef changed because we've ordered these before over the years and it was not like this. We will not be returning.

First time here and due to most of the dishes being a miss will most likely not be back. Service was good but we were the only table there for most of our visit. Hot tea was very good and the general tso's chicken. The Szechuan chicken was also very good but that is where the good food ends for this visit. Not impressed with the crab Rangoon, vegetable chow foon, and the moo shu pork. It's not too large of a restaurant but does have some large tables for big groups. Pretty teacups and tea pot.

Years later - rice pot is still our fav. We came to celebrate Father's Day and my dad's birthday over the weekend. The place was packed! But service was still great! We were checked on throughout the meal and she even told us we have to try the coconut chicken hot pot next time. Literally we were the only table that didn't get it. Everything came out piping hot and perfectly seasoned. So good. Hidden gem in Annandale but authentic as can be.

Came here for a birthday dinner. Ordered expensive (including the overpriced lobster) dishes and waited 40 minutes for our food. There were only 3 tables, including us. They said that they were making food for one table at a time. Horrible, ruined the birthday.Food wasn't even good. Super overpriced. 10 dollars for one tiny scallop??? Do not come here.

We used to eat here all the time before COVID and loved it. Something happened and the taste changed and we were so sad We moved away for a couple of years and just got back to the area and decided to give it another shot AND it's back and better than it used to be We went in on July 4th around 8 PM and the place was really busy. My husband ordered the chicken in garlic sauce and I had the chicken in black bean sauce. Both dishes were so delicious and spicy. We can both tolerate spice and it did not disappoint. Service was awesome and we will be back a lot. It's sometimes really intimidating going into a authentic restaurant, the ladies in there were so kind and answered all my questions to include what others were eating Of note, we were the only ones in the restaurant that did not order the coconut chicken. Every other table (around 6) ordered the soup that was cooked at their table. We will be returning to try it. 100% recommend. They were also pushing out a lot of to-go orders but service and food was very timely.

The food is very good quality from the standpoint of Cantonese food preparation styleI'm not so sure from the standpoint of healthy eatingThe prices are very high and they charge 3.95%if you use a credit card. The restaurant really urges to use cash, which can be quite eye popping if you're going to be paying their high prices.
