I work at the bank across the street and this is a hot spot for an easy quick lunch! You can call ahead to have your order ready and they don't require prepayment. I tried their Thursday special, bulgogi cheesesteak. It was great! The bulgogi is made perfectly and has the signature Korean flavor. The bread it's served on is fresh. It also comes with a pickle which I love! They have endless amounts of sandwich, wrap, and salad options. There's something for everyone here. A great lunch spot for sure!

This is the cutest little sandwich shop in Rockville, MD! I found this restaurant on my Yelp app and called ahead to order a chicken salad sandwich. I did not have the menu in front of me but the young lady who answered the phone quickly walked me through the menu and we came up with a chicken salad BLT with avocado. When I got to the restaurant there was a long line but I was happy to learn that my sandwich was ready to go. I was able to quickly pay and head back to work with my yummy sandwich. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I did not get a pickle.... Like what is a sandwich without a pickle? Aren't pickles complementary these days? *shrugs* I will be returning to this deli in the near future and I will be sure to inquire about the pickles. :)

I have been going here for years because it is convenient and reliable. Friendly staff, good food, quick service at a fair price. I particularly like the Turkey Reuben and the California Dream Wrap.

I will be back again and again! I had the smoked turkey reuben and it was to put it subtly, GREAT! The wait maybe a bit long after you place your order but it is well worth the wait. 30 min "lunchers", this is not the place for you; only b/c of the wait.

This place is so delicious!! Great fresh food and affordable. If you don't want to wait you can simply call it in and pick up in 15 no pay ahead required. Couple that runs it definitely know what they are doing!

Great sandwiches and wraps, soups and salads that are decent (but lacking the imagination and character that the sandwiches possess), chips, coffee, and sodas. That's pretty much the whole menu.The location is a bit hard to find (on the ground floor of a nondescript office building in a business park on the southeast corner of Research Boulevard and Gude Drive, in Rockville. And the cafe is small, with most of the customers getting their food to go.But the staff moves fast, the manager is a nice guy, and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food received. You can also call ahead, so your food will be waiting when you arrive. The Research Cafe is a popular spot for carry-out breakfast and lunch in this corner of Rockville. Give it a try and I'm pretty sure you will also become a fan.

The first time I visited the Cafe the food was great about 1 yr ago. I walked into today and it smelled like spoiled food. It almost made me decide not to order. I ordered a steak sandwich with no onion. The cashier told the young lady 3 times "no onions" and when I got my sandwich there were onions on the sandwich. I tasted the sandwich and it tasted like spoiled meat. I am so disappointed.

Huge rip off. I ordered a gyro with unidentifiable meat. I had no idea if it was chicken, lamb or something else. $7 for a pita full of lettuce, onions and tomatoes. 0/5. Avoid.

This is a cute shop on Research Blvd. I ordered the Smoked Turkey Reuben. I got there when there was no line, so in relation to wait time, I can't provide any insight on that. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and polite. The sandwich itself - It. was. delicious! For the price, the portion you get is very generous. I'm so glad I discovered this place on Yelp. I can't wait to try other options. The place is small, so seating is limited. If you're coming during lunch hour, definitely get your food to go. I will definitely be back!

This deli is very good. The food is delicious and the service is great. One of the best deli in Research BLVD. If this deli is in our building, I would go every day.
