On a recent trip to DC I was in Chinatown and craving some Chinese . Great place to go if your near convention center or city center it is a easy walk.Service was quick and food was the bomb very flavorful and you won't break the bank. For starters just order the crazy fish the crispiness on that fish was unheard of ! And the onions just top it off it's a big portion size for an appetizerNext I got the seafood fried rice and not everyone can make rice ! The rice was so good I didn't even need to add any sauces to it,and I had enough leftovers to take back with me .

Can I fairly judge a ramen shop when I did not try the ramen? Sure I can and it gives me an excuse to hit this place up again in the future. This place has the feel of some ramen shops in Japan in that it is cozy. Cozy in the sense that it is small but still got room to move. When you get up you don't have to worry about your rump bumping a person's drink. Ok I will say this place is large compared to some ramen shops in Japan that only have seats for about six or eight people. This place is in Chinatown near Capitol One Arena next to a Thai restaurant about a five minute walk from Gallery Place metro stop. Starting off I went with a libation of their version of the LIT but made with Thai iced tea and it was a nice twist on an old favorite. For an appetizer we, but mainly me, went with pork dumplings. If you are thinking these are just the ordinary gyozas you get from the grocery store you would be wrong. I do think these are house made and they are very plump filled with your selection of meat. My entree was the double fly (fry) pork belly. It is listed as spicy but not very spicy to me. It did have a pinch of heat that might be too much for some but not for me. I requested chili oil to get a few extra scoville that added a bit more flavor but not much more heat. Still it was good and wish I got it with the the buns instead of rice. Pork in soft buns sounds great and a definite to try. I see myself heading here again. The prices are reasonable and the wait is not long if in a time crunch. A solid four stars for a Ramen shop in the US.

Alone, so was seated at bar immediately. There were several menu items one ate dot try but settled on the Kung Fu noodles because they were supposed to be spicy. I suspect it is the same as the house ramen, with hot oil added. Very tasty, not too spicy hot. Ramen came out in under 5 minutes, piping hot temperature wise. Bartender only gave me a fork, so I had to steal my chopsticks from container at the other end of the bar. Really narrow space with only 7 tables ( one communal) and 4 bar seats. Not sure I would wait in line to eat here, but this was ideal for a quick bite close to my hotel in Chinatown.

Food, service everything was great! Steamed dumplings, pan-fried noodles and General Tsos chicken all extremely good. Nice small place. Very attentive service. We would definitely recommend.

Our first time with Lamen was delicious! Came to try a new soup dumpling place after the Art Museum, before the Wizards game. The soup dumplings were small in comparison to others, but tasty and the perfect temp. Grandma's scallion pancakes were so crispy but the meat inside was a different temperature which seemed odd. The bao buns were yummy too. My matcha boba was a little lacking in flavor and coldness ... plus the boba ratio was off. But otherwise we enjoyed our quick meal with very attentive service considering it was busy.

We spent an exhilarating afternoon wandering around vibrant China Town, and I couldn't be happier that Yelp guided us to this gem! The food was absolutely unforgettable! I indulged in the mouthwatering signature Reren Lamen noodles, while my husband devoured the Kung Fu dish. Our son delighted in the crispy Karaage chicken, perfectly complemented by the sauce on the side. The dumplings were incredibly soft and bursting with flavor. The service was not only quick but also incredibly friendly, adding to the wonderful experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, but the real star of the show? The food--simply divine!

The five of us were seated quickly on a very cold day, which was great! The restaurant was packed and the service was speedy. Most of us got the Reren Signature Lamen. I've never had lamen before and I thought this was really good. The broth was flavorful, the noodles were delicious, and the pork was very tender. The soup has no spice in case you're sensitive to spicy dishes. The portions were a great size for a good price. This was just what we needed for a cold day, and much more worth our while to grab dinner here instead of inside the Capital one arena before the Caps game. Check them out!

One of the best places I have found in the city for such a good price. I dined in with my partner on a Monday night around 8pm, there were only a few tables still sat in the restaurant. We were starving and I had come here with the intention of getting some fried dumplings. When we ordered we were informed they didn't offer their dumplings fried, so I changed my order to the wings and my partner got the soup dumplings (which we had never had). Service was good and my favorite part was they gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted. The wings were HOT when they arrived at the table, crispy on the outside but perfectly cooked on the inside. I was so impressed because to get wings that large crispy, people usually overcook the wings to the point they're dry. These wings were anything but. The soup dumplings were DELICIOUS, and I am not a fan of steamed dumplings. Absolutely incredible. The General Tso's chicken was a must have, same crispy-ness as the wings but then the sauce's flavor was that perfect spice and sweetness. They also put a decent amount of sauce on the plate, so you could get extra dips. The string beans literally tasted like someone had just picked them from a garden, crunch and fresh. Everything we had was phenomenal and clearly made with love. The entire time we were there, uber eats/door dash drivers kept arriving and I understand why. Perfect place for take out and if you're in the area definitely dine in. 10/10, and I can not wait to go back and try more dishes.

I've been here a few times and both times it's been clutch for not being too busy, getting you in and out, and meeting the need of Chinese food that won't blow your socks off but will feed you edible food. The Dan Dan noodles are good, not great. They could honestly be a little spicier and in general the flavors are a little flat. I've also gotten the soup dumplings (don't bother), Xi'An Smoky Noodle (okay but just get the ramen), and fried rice (expensive for what it is). I will say the staff is fast, and the restaurant itself has some pretty art. But I can only recommend coming here if you don't have any other reasonable option.
