Wow. I am obsessed with this food. I've always wanted to try Jamaican food but just never seen to find one around where I am. The truck was parked inside the NIH campus where I work for Tuesday food truck day and my friend told me about this!I quickly look up the facebook page and any yelp reviews available and both were amazing reviews so I was really excited to try it. I got the oxtail platter which came which about 5 oxtail pieces, dirty rice, cabbage, and 2 large slices of fried plantains. Ohmygosh it was so delicious! The oxtails were tender and fall off the bone kind! The rice was flavorful but not overpowering and the cabbage was just right and complemented the whole meal. The plantain wasn't too sweet which I think needed to be a little more sweet but I was happy either way! The other entrees looked yummy as well but you know I had to try the oxtail! It was a huge portion for $14 and I'm really glad I ordered the oxtail platter. Hopefully they come back again at work and I need to try out the jerk chicken and other items on the menu. The staff were polite and the line for this truck was long in a matter of 5 mins! Must try!

Authentically flavored Jamaican fare on a food truck? Really?! YES really!!! I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The jerk chicken plate was superb. I didn't have to add the jerk sauce included with my order as the flavor was spot on. Spice level was just right...I appreciate the fact that the heat wasn't 'dumbed down' to appease those with a delicate palate.

This was pretty good, and offered a great ratio of quantity to price compared to other food trucks! I love Jamaican food and was excited to see what they had. I got the jerk chicken with rice and beans, and a beef patty. - Jerk chicken - the chicken was so flavorful, smoky, and tender. It was pretty amazing! I felt like the rice, beans, and jerk sauce were a tad under seasoned - had good saltiness and heat, but could use a little more depth. But I just gobbled it all up with the chicken. - Beef patty - the dough was nice and flaky, with smooth beef inside. Like my previous comment, the meat could have used a little more depth (more spices to bring out the natural flavors of the beef, or possibly some sweetness). This was all really good, but a slight smidge away from the tasty food I've had in Jamaica. I saw saltfish and ackee on one version of their menu but it wasn't here today. Overall, a solid and hearty choice for lunch!

Full disclosure: I'm really picky about my Jamaican food. Since I've relocated to this area, finding the right place has been hit or miss. The Reggae Flava truck came to my son's practice and I decided to give it a try. I ordered the jerk chicken and oxtails and it was MAGNIFICENT!!! The jerk chicken was juicy with just the right amount of heat and the rice and peas were flavorful and plentiful. I have found a new favorite!

Absolutely delicious Jamaican cuisine! If you haven't stopped by do yourself a favor... try them out! The owner is VERY friendly and kindhearted! We tired almost everything on his truck. The fried fish, oxtails, and jerk chicken! We'll definitely be back for more!!

I couldn't find this food truck on Yelp, so I'm adding it in hopes that everyone finds this little gem. I stumbled upon the Reggae Flava truck in Rosslyn last week and the food was excellent! I asked for a combo platter of 1/2 curry chicken and 1/2 jerk chicken, which they happily obliged. The curry chicken was tender and well seasoned--very good--but the jerk chicken was the star. The jerk chicken was rubbed and grilled with a nice amount of heat. Served with a side of cabbage and rice & peas, this was some of the best Jamaican food I've had in a long time. Outstanding! There are several crap Caribbean trucks haunting Arlington, so make sure to look out for @reggaeflavallc. There's not much traffic on their Twitter handle, but they are active on Facebook.

This food truck is amazing. I have been craving Jamaica food and this beauty pops up. The flavors are amazing and the amount they give you for $10 is a helluva deal. I got the Jerk Chicken, Rice & Peas and Veggies. I was shock to see TWO full size (smoked) breast in my carry out trey. Great experience and I will recommend this truck to others.

This food truck is hands down the best Jamaican authentic food ever!! We got Oxtails, jerk chicken and curry goat!! The jerk chicken flavor was out of the world and the tenderness was so succulent. No complaints for the curry goat and the Oxtails were juicy and flavorful!! Definitely took pics and shared on all my social media!

Ya mon! The food was better than most places in Jamaica! Actually the jerk chicken was some of the very best I've ever had...it fell right off the bone and I may or may not have licked my fingers. I'm so happy to taste authentic Jamaican food in the states. It was soooo soooo good!! Everything had so much delicious flavor...I cleaned my plate. Respect

Noticed them for the first time in Rosslyn today and decided to try them out. Really enjoyed the curry chicken, the jerk chicken looked and smelled very good as well and they had a vegetarian option which is always nice. Super friendly and fast service. Yum!
