Redstone American Grill

We stopped in for dinner after seeing the ICE! show. The place was packed but was able to get seated pretty quickly. The restaurant was loud. The reason for the 4 stars was because of the service. The service was pretty bad. Other than taking our orders we did not see much of our waiter. We had to ask other waiter/waitress for stuff. On top of that we were told to pay cash tip if possible. It was very off putting when we barely saw him.Food was delicious. We tried to make the best of our evening despite of the service.Ribs, jerk Chicken fondue, wings, and Buffalo shrimp were all very good. We were not a fan of the fried Cauliflowers.I think our service was not the norm for the restaurant. We see other wait staff working hard at tables.

French onion soup 7/10Lots of onions, ton of bread. Either there wasn't a lot of broth or the bread soaked it all up. The cheese on top was a little burnt.Steak Cobb 9/10Good flavor. Steak was tender and cooked great. Loved the smoked onion ranch dressing too.

Myself and 5 other ladies dropped by on a Friday night, and my overall impression is that it's a decent spot for a quick bite, but not a place I'd rush to return to.Food:The buffalo fried shrimp appetizer was the highlight of the meal--perfectly crispy with great flavor. However, my garden salad with salmon was underwhelming, nothing special, and felt like something you could easily throw together at home.Service:Our experience with the bartender during happy hour was outstanding. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome as we started our evening at the bar. Once we moved to a table, the service was just okay. With six people in our group, it might have been a bit more challenging for the staff to keep up, but it lacked the attentiveness we'd experienced at the bar.Ambiance:The atmosphere was fine--nothing particularly memorable, but it worked for a casual outing.Overall, while there were some bright spots, this restaurant didn't leave a lasting impression. It's an average place that's convenient if you're looking for a quick meal but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit again.

Stopped by Redstone after visiting the harbor to watch the holiday fireworks. The wait was about 20 minutes, which was reasonable despite being told it could be longer. Once seated, we had a lovely view of the Ferris wheel, which added a nice touch to the evening.Our server was friendly and attentive, and I appreciated that Redstone offered a special holiday drink menu--perfect for the festive vibe.Now, onto the food. Unfortunately, the short braised rib was a bit disappointing. It looked dry (see picture) and lacked the flavor and tenderness I was hoping for. I really wish it had been more moist and flavorful. On the other hand, my friend's spicy Thai noodles were incredible--so packed with flavor that I found myself wishing I'd ordered that instead!As for the cornbread, it was just okay. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. Honestly, I probably could've skipped it.Overall, Redstone has some highlights, but there's room for improvement in the consistency of the dishes.

Service-hosts were pleasant and professional. Justice our server was attentive and friendly. Food- cauliflower appetizer was tasty, crab cakes was good quality, and brunch special good variety. The brunch special eggs and hash brown needed some extra loving. Also kinda funny how they potion control ya. You gotta ask for 2 extra strips of bacon or 2 half slices of French toast. Hehe. Space- really big inside, lots of different seating options. Booths, tables, bar, patio. Music was good for patio to the booth. Overall great spot in national harbor for all types of occasions.

After reading the reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect but this place was pretty good. My Sea Bass was really good. It was cooked to perfection. The sausage flatbread was SPICY and had just enough sausage on it. My husband had the Original Thai Chicken Salad, which he enjoyed so much so that I didn't get a chance to taste it. The cornbread wasn't that great, so I wouldn't recommend it. I dined with a party of 15 for a relative's birthday. Our server was attentive, explained the menu, gave recommendations and was very patient with our large party. The bartender made possibly the BEST French 75 I've ever had! Would definitely return to try more menu items.

From start to finish Redstone did not fail me. As a first time customer I was unsure of what to expect but sitting off the water the vibes are great , the staff and friendly and the bartender did an amazing job on the drinks. I was so pleased with my experience that i will be returning soon. My food and drinks were all good, drinks were just the right amount of mixture. Overall 9/10

India!!!! Best server everOrder the Brussel sprouts...delicious with bacon and super crispy. Chicken salad was delicious. Wife loved the fondue. I liked it and the cheese was ai little watery for me.Well be back. Thanks

We went for lunch, beautiful view right on the water and you can see the Ferris wheel, etc. service was great and responsive and we got right in, no wait. I had the crab cakes with fries and my husband had the burger , both delicious. We had the bread with dipping sauces as a starter, the sauces were really good! I will def go back again when we're in town!

I Decided to reserve Redstone for a Birthday Brunch. U can make reservations here for up to 10 or 11 people. Over that amount, u have to call and pay a $5.00 per person deposit, which applies to your bill and they give u a five minutes grace, u can call if you are running late. The bill is only one payment. No splitting the bill. We we did cash! I had to ask for my deposit to be applied to my bill, so don't forget that. It's a nice restaurant reasonably priced. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they ate. The chef's breakfast u get complimentary refills. I suggest, u ask for another plate as soon as they bring your first plate! The food could have been hotter. The bacon was kind of tough, the potato casserole was good. The French toast that came out when we asked for more was much better than the first plate. The fruit was good! The drinks are good. The waitress was good, however slow to return, but nowadays, that seems to be the norm. One family member said the turkey burger was really big and good. The chicken strips for the kids were huge! So...I'll go back to try the dinner menu! I'm not interested in doing a group again, there however! I have always walked past there, so I'm glad I finally tried it!
