RedRocks Neapolitan Bistro

Came here after a long day of travel and it turned out to be a pretty welcome treat! Unctuous cheese and arugula topping was just the thing to sooth our weary souls! Glad we didn't just snarf taco bell like we originally planned!

I found RedRocks while walking around Old Town and was craving pizza so decided to give it a shot. We ordered the bruschetta and the il fungo (mushroom) pizza. The waiters were very kind, but the food took forever to come out. The restaurant was not very busy either and it still took forever. The bruschetta came out first and it tasted good, but the quantity I think was not enough only 3 small pieces of bread with the salad taking up the majority of the plate as you can see from the picture. After we finished the bruschetta we had to wait a very long time for the pizza again and the mushrooms were not well distributed on the pizza with some slices having a lot and others not. Overall the pizza tasted good, but be aware of the wait time. Some pizzas are labeled as taking longer on the menu, but the pizza we ordered did not have any notice of that and we had to wait almost an hour after ordering.

This was the worse restaurant experience I've had in a long time. 1) The wait staff was inattentive -- we had to flag them down every time we wanted something. We asked for a high chair four times and they never brought one...my husband had to walk around and fine one and bring it back to our table himself. 2) The food was just OK. Our drinks were wrong, the garlic knots were dry and tough, and the buffalo wings had very little sauce. The only good part was the kids pizzas. 3) There were bugs flying around. We were sitting inside. 4) There were no clear roles for the staff. Host, seating, bartending, waiting...all random. We've been here before a few years ago and it was a pretty good experience. It's obviously changed ownership and has gone precipitously downhill. Do not recommend.

Just wanted to report false advertisement that this restaurant is open until 3am. Came here at 1:30am and the restaurant was closed. No lights and was completely dark.

Had a cool experience here! We ordered the sausage pizza Neapolitan style. It was delicious, I love the taste of the crust. The size of the pizza was perfect to share. Staff is friendly. I enjoyed the vibe of the place. All the Italian art and photography makes you want to visit Italy. Drinks were flat, I hope they fix their drink machine and drink area soon. I am already planning to eat there again next time I am in town.

I met some friends here after work and was looking forward to enjoying a good time. My friends got there earlier so they started at the bar area and took advantage of happy hour specials (they go through 6pm). We moved to a table afterwards and ordered drinks, appetizers, pizzas, and a pasta entree. Everything was going great until we saw a COCKROACH along the wall next to our table. One of my friends trapped it under a glass after it started coming onto our table. We tried to ignore the mishap but then it happened AGAIN and we just couldn't stomach staying any longer. Our waiter, who was great from the get go, comp'ed us our appetizers and a couple of drinks. He apologized on our way out. Based on employees' reaction, I think this is an issue they're aware of. I really hope management takes action because eating amongst nasty cockroaches is not something anyone should be subjected to.

Great pizza! Well cooked though because it was balanced between crispy and doughy. If you like it more one here or there, let them know because they are very accommodating. I had the New York style Trio of Meats! It comes with pepperoni two types of sausage. Great taste of the sauce, cheese and toppings. This pizza is bigger than your average pizza so expect larger slices and a bigger pizza box. Had to put my to-go in the back seat.Service was great. Timely greeting at the door and order taking. Pizza came out within a reasonable time for its size. I think it was 7-10 minutes on a Thursday at around 2pm. One customer ahead of me.Ambience was chill. It was take-out for me so no real details on the experience of dining in.

NY pizza is hard to replicate but that's what we wanted and this restaurant has it on the menu. It was a disappointment. The dough was soggy. There was no crunch. We ordered extra pepperoni but to us it looked like a regular pepperoni pizza. Even though it didn't taste like a NY slice it did warm up well the next day. Ordered an Old Fashioned and the downfall was they use small ice cubes which watered the drink down faster than a large ice cube would, which I'm use to. The ratio of how they crafted the drink wasn't my favorite as well.

1 server & 1 cool, waited toooooooo much.Food over priced, 18$ for 5 small shrimps with arugula. Wings were not so good.Pizza over priced - I added pineapple , charged 2$ extra, pizza had very little of it.Was not pleased

We haven't been here in a few years, but understand there was an ownership change. Service was attentive and friendly. We had the New York pepperoni pizza which was good and very large, but not worth $31. It was also more doughy than New York style I'm used to. The atmosphere on a Friday night was pretty lame (we were 2 of 5 total customers). The mouse running across the floor was the deal-killer for me though. I hope they turn this around.
