Having been here few times and bern disappointed, when it is bustling and hard to get table, we were immensely relieved to find a table and quiet atmosphere for once at this joint of a place. May not look overly tidy nor fancy, but the staff do a great job on overshadowing the ambiance. This time we went for Poori, halwa, channa and accompanied by paki chai. So here is the thing. Throughout DMV, it is hard to find all the above that has the perfect flavor, not to crispy, nor too soft poori. Or channa too spicy, not well cooked or not flavorful. Or the tea just lacks that sting to the taste. After tried many poori halwa serving places Tosso, Niralla Sweets, Cha lounge, Shineys and one Bombay at Tyson's) I can say with certainty, that Ravi Kaboob has the best combo. They even had cashew in the halwa in addition to other dry fruits and the halwa wasn't all about sugar and semolina, but had the good blend so it accompanied well to the chai. Bottom line, if you can see away from the ambiance and just want to have the best poori halwa channa weekend breakfast, this is def place to go! But be sure to call upfront, because even though they are supposed to have it from 1100-4.00 in the weekend, they simply run out way before that time. Probably good to ask them to save your portions and confirm your timely arrival.

Excellent chicken kabobs. Service is kind of crazy with ordering at a side counter on the back and had to wait for a table by standing. Despite the ordering situation, the food and the people are wonderful!

I have been eating at this establishment when it first opened. The original place is across the street. The Karahi Ghost is the best around. I think this plase closes earlier then the one across the street but I could be mistaken.

We used to go to Ravi Ia couple of years ago and it used to be much more better. We came to Ravi II today but it was really lousy, cleanliness at the lowest standards that I have ever seen at any place in the are especially that we are taking post Corona life. The floors are sticky, the tables are sticky, the bathrooms are gross the bathroom knobs are sticky! Please clean it up! Just please! One more thing, why are they still asking for cash after all these years! Now the food was just ok. The ambiance made the whole experience average.

My friend and I decided to try out Pakistani food because we were craving kabobs so we yelped it and found Ravi because it was closest to us! We were a little confused as there are 2 Ravis on the same street literally right across from each other. So we decided to go to Ravi II as there were more parking spots and no one was in the restaurant. My friend and I had received a recommendation to order Chicken Karahi and another dish but the Chicken Karahi was served for 2 people so we ordered that. The place looks like a hole in the wall and small but these places always have the best food because it's homecooked! The person working the register (which I think is also the owner) was very helpful to us and also helped us pick which item to choose. We ended up with boneless chicken karahi. We also ordered one side of rice which was enough for 2 people and the item came with naan, chutney, and salad. Our food came in this huge wok and it looked extremely appetizing and smelled so good. We took some pictures for instagram and yelp and we were ready to dig in! The meal was flavorful and exceeded my expectations. Usually, it is so difficult to eat food you are not familiar with and I had no idea how to eat everything together! It was such a great experience to eat dishes from another culture and to be able to share that moment with another friend who is slightly familiar but not an expert. The owner/worker kept checking on us how we were doing and the next thing you know, the restaurant was flooded with people eating in and taking out! I'd say we brought the business that day haha! The owner gave us menus for the future and had asked us how we felt about the food - of course we told him it was delicious! We would definitely come back with our friends here and teach them what we learned! Can't wait to try the other dish on their menu!FYI: this place is CASH ONLY so make sure you have enough cash, but they do have an ATM inside so no worries!

The best kabob in Northern Virginia! Seriously! The food is incredible. Inside the restaurant is pretty minimal and barebones.

Ravi Kabob is a favorite in the Arlington area, and this spot is right across the street and owned by the same people. After eating at the first Ravi kabob for years, I have to say this one just isn't as good. It was quiet, nearly empty when we came in for dinner and it took quite a while to get our meal. The food was just ok, not what I'm used to at Ravi Kabob. The rice was well spiced but nothing special, kabob was tough, and the samosa special by far the best thing we had. I'll be sticking to the original from now on

Over the last 6 years, I've frequented the original Ravi Kabob House for their amazing Ravi Special with extra chick peas. Only recently did I find myself here at Ravi Kabob House II. We came as a party of five, so we decided to share a couple of dishes - chicken karahi, mughaz karahi, lamb kabob, and an extra side of chick peas (some things never change). You get rice, naan, salad, and sauces as accompaniments. The food was all delicious, with my favorites being the chicken karahi and lamb kabob. You're guaranteed an authentic meal here that will satisfy your taste buds.Service was very friendly and helpful too. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely come back here again, especially for karahi dishes.

Came here for an earlier breakfast/brunch. It's a little bit heavy for breakfast, but it's very typical Desi breakfast. We had the poori with Chana and halwa. Definitely a unique place to check out

When I say this I really mean it. Cuz I don't lie. Ik God. Anyway, this the place you really need to go if you want the best burger in Virginia. Maybe even in Maryland. Bro like the way that the burger melted my heart, it made me forget I lived on this earth. The service was great. And the atmosphere is really comforting. They have avatar playing right now. (They used Netflix for us, so whatever you like they got! If you know you know type ish, on God)
