Randolph Deli

Recommended for lunch & the hot Ruben.Tucked in a back corner of this high rise in Arlington Va neighborhood of Ballston on North Randolph Street is one of the best Rubens sandwiches you can buy. Not sure how they got the NY deli recipe or talent, but this is as authentic as it gets. Service is basic, but hot shoe string fries go well with it. They also have plenty of cold drinks, wine & beer in the refrigerated cases. Over all ambiance is a NYC high rise deli and convenient mart, including a wine opener, small tools and lotto ticket sales. Staff are friendly, but reserved. Also the place is clean, and there is a small counter to eat at. Worth a try in my book, and am glad I did. It's a bit pricey (hot sandwiches are $12-15, fries are $5), but they are good when compared to a NYC deli, and every bit as tasty, in my opinion.

Did not try it. So expensive. $17.43 for fries, sandwich and drink!! I do not know who affords this place

Love the speed and convenience of the Randolph Deli! I usually order for pick up and it's ready very quickly. The owners are also so lovely.

Cozy place that is incredibly convenient with great staff. Items are a little on the pricier side (and they don't seem to display prices) but I don't do my everyday shopping here so it doesn't bother me but could do to some. The food at the counter is I recommend the cheesesteak & fries

One of my go-to spots for sandwiches near Ballston. I ordered the Italian and they delivered with fresh ingredients and friendly service. Not to mention the convenience of picking up any other essential you may need when you are on the go. I like to try new things from their diverse menu especially breakfast sandwiches as well.

This place is worth the ridiculous effort required to find it. After snaking your way through the labyrinthine lobby of Randolph Towers, one finds an innocuous glass door leading to the deli. I had the chicken gyro, which was well put-together with a good balance of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and tzatziki sauce. The pita could have been slightly less chewy, but that wasn't a big deal. Something that did detract from my experience was the lack of any place to wait for the sandwich while it was being prepared. Then again, there's limited room in there because the place, reflecting its core business as a convenience store, is packed to the brim with food and drink items. Therefore, I also give it three stars for suitability as a place to raid when the zombie apocalypse hits.I'd love to try some of the other sandwiches on their menu; this seems like the kind of place that would make a mean reuben.

Super convenient but everything is overpriced. I guess you pay for convenience right? Some of the stuff they sell is the same stuff from Dollar Tree just more expensive. We get food here sometimes and it's decent, the store is very clean. We come mainly because they open late and most other places around us do not. I ordered a gyro and would get it again if nothing else was available!

Go to place for cheap and convenient breakfast sandwiches, beer, wine, snacks and ice cream. They take credit cards, no minimum, and do substitutions on their extensive sandwich menu. Nice family run store. Sort of like a bodega, which I appreciate having lived in NYC.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was sold a moldy drink, and when I went back to show them the drink and ask for a refund, the owner completely lost it. Instead of addressing the problem, he screamed at me insisting that it wasn't mold, and then proceeded to make it personal, saying he didn't like "people like me." To top it off, he tossed my refund receipt, kicked me out and ordered the cook to remember my face and never let me back in. This is by far the worst customer service I've ever encountered, and I don't plan to return. I strongly advise others to stay away.
