Rainbow Sushi

Come to Rainbow Sushi for straight forward sushi staples and straightforward, sometimes gruff service. It's not for those who are craving fancy rolls covered in sauces and mayo and adorned with toppings offered by servers with sweet smiles. I pick up the basic California rolls for my kids on a regular basis. For less than $5 for 8 rolls, it can't be beat. There are also eel and rainbow rolls available. The fish is sliced very thinly but this is reflected in the price. FYI, the tray pictured is about $40.

I am quite impressed with the pricing and quality of the sushi and sashimi here. My husband always raves about sushi from Lotte and now I know why. I have picked up sushi here for him a couple of times when I'm at Lotte doing my Asian grocery shopping. I haven't tried the sushi until now and it's not bad. I tried everything from the California rolls, to the spicy tuna rolls, to the assorted sashimi and nigiri, and to the octopus salad. With the prices of food increasing these days, I appreciate how the generous portion of sashimi here is $14. The fish tastes good and none of the pieces are chewy or spoiled. The sushi rice in the nigiri is descent and still not a bad value. The rolls are a good size with a good amount of spicy tuna. I really liked their octopus salad. It's delicately marinated with sesame oil and I think mirin? and the octopus was not tough or chewy. I noticed a couple of eatery places inside Lotte are permanently closed today. I am glad this one is surviving and looking forward to more sushi here.

Pricing was very affordable and the quality was good. Service was ok. This little food stall is located inside the Lotte Supermarket in Chantilly. They make the sushi throughout the day and they also have party platters. Will def be a quick and sure option for sushi on the go when around the area.

While grocery shopping at Lotte I'm always tempted by their food court. This time around I saw this sushi place near the produce area and had to give it a try!I got the Philadelphia Roll, Dragon Roll and Small Sashimi! First thing i notice the prices are extremely low which is always a plus for a quick bite to eat.The Philadelphia roll tasted as good as you can get anywhere else I highly recommend. The dragon roll was okay, the eel was a bit dry but the overall flavor was good. The small sashimi tasted refreshing, but it was very thinly sliced.Overall, I really liked the Philadelphia roll and would definitely get it again. As for the other two items they were decent for the price. If you go, just remember it is a grocery store sushi place and it was a great deal!

This sushi stand is located inside Lotte, right past the produce section. I ordered the California Roll and Eel Sushi for my family's first foray into sushi. They accept credit card. The sushi is preprepared throughout the day. It was decent and cheap option for a first time introduction to sushi.

Unbelievably cheap and decent sushi. I've never seen sushi this inexpensive and it's pretty good. Def better than supermarket sushi. Not as quality as a Japanese restaurant but what do u expect for the price. We got the California roll (2.95) volcano crab roll (4.94), rainbow roll (5.95), Boston shrimp (3.95), seaweed salad (2.95). My dad said that the rainbow roll tuna was a little fishy. Volcano roll was a bit spicy but good. Boston roll seemed a little bland and small but was ok. This place was a little hard to find. Didn't realize it was in a supermarket and even so, couldn't find it until I called and asked to find out it was in produce area. It's nice that it's in a supermarket so we actually enjoyed looking thru be market too while making our purchase. Seems like they don't put out a whole lot of assortment at a time and wait to make more until people buy.

I used to go here all the time when I worked in Chantilly! After a 10 year hiatus (but since I was in the area, I decided to stop by) and yes, it's still delicious and still super inexpensive. I got the Spicy Tuna Avocado Roll (8 pieces for $3.95) and Dragon Roll (an eel avocado cucumber roll, 8 pieces for $5.95). These rolls are absolutely fresh and super tasty! It was everything I remembered from over a decade over! I was going to share some with the spouse, but I gobbled it up b/c it was just that good!

For the price this place is a bargain. Not only are they preparing it fresh all day by the looks of it the pricing is exquisite. I got a tuna avocado roll for $4.95. It was basic and simple but was delectable. My only critique would be that they don't seem to put spicy mayo on top of most of there rolls. I just feel like it's a great compliment to the sushi. But again can't beat the price and it tastes great, I will be trying multiple rolls next time I stop by.

good price and delicious!it just grab it so it's very convenient. And owners are very kind.
