I was on this block in N.W. D.C. about 3 months ago reviewing. This spot caught my eye, & I made sure that I came back, & pulled up!! It was a whole vibe in there!! Let's GO!!.Where I am: @quiloxlounge.Location Reviewed: 7303 Georgia Ave., N.W. Washington D.C..Items Reviewed:DELICIOUS. Their Indomie ($20 ramen noodles with fried eggs). Nicely spiced...good. That's it.STAMP!! Their Suya Wings ($20 6 whole Suya spiced fried wings with onions, tomatoes, & cucumbers). Fried hard with that Suya spice kick, kind of curry, & jerk season tasting.LIKE THAT!! Their Grilled Tilapia Platter ($30 a whole tilapia with onions, sauce, Jollof rice-STAMP, red, green, & yellow peppers). Very well seasoned, tender, & tasty!! Get that Jollof!!STAMP! Their Ayamase Stew ($20 a goat, chicken liver, & beef stew with rice). Different, more savory than spicy, definitely an acquired taste!! I like it!!STAMP!! Their Puff Puff ($6 Fried donut balls with a caramel drizzle). Hot, fresh, and tasty!!.Customer Service: On Point..Parking: ROUGH!!.Recommendations: Their Pizza!! They appear to have renovated and upgraded this place, because the interior doesn't look like what shown on here. The food was really good and large portion, it was pretty spicy but well seasoned. Service was quick. The seats are really comfortable and they give living room vibes. Parking wasn't bad and I was able to get a spot pretty close by on the street.

I ordered delivery food from them and I can say the food was blah. I eat plenty of African food and this is one of the worst restaurant I have eaten from. I feel like they need to put more seasoning in the food and the meat was to tough to chew on. I am mad that I wasted money on them. And they gave me a small portion of plantain.

Definitely saw a rat in this restaurant when I was trying to order. The bathroom was horrendous and looked like it wasn't attended to in months and the food took over 40 minutes. You have been warned, go to the roti place across the street instead. Back to Arlen...

Last night, a Friday night, I ordered Beef Stew to be delivered from Quilox Restaurant and Lounge. It cost $14.99 before Service fee. The photos I attached are of what I got before I started eating. I included a photo of the bag because I want everyone to know that my stew didn't fall out of its container. I was tempted to call the restaurant to complain, but I don't think that would've gotten me anywhere. The three pieces of beef were dry, tough, and seemed leftover. This is the worst food delivery experience I've ever had. Beware.
