Quench!

This place had the potential to be our local go to. Tried to order a White Russian and although they had all the ingredients we were told it wasn't one of their listed cocktails. So despite having a full bar they aren't a full bar.Ok no problem we held out hope for food. Ordered a Philly cheesesteak, meatball sliders and onion rings. The Philly cheesesteak was dry, grainy and not cut right. It needs to be shaved meat and not enough cheese. The meatballs lacked sauce and cheese. The onion rings lacked flavor beer or otherwise. It is not often that I give a bad review especially to a small business but after reading the reviews I felt some honesty was needed.

I'm never on this end of Silver Spring... but a friend who performs video game jazz (yes) had a performance here. It has a very nice outdoor area, and an indoor area with a long row of high tables and a long bar. I sat at the bar for the best view, and they ID'd me the second I sat down... it's been a while outside of a security person lol. Anyways, I decided to try the samosas and their potstickers...both were lovely appetizers. I could've gotten even more, but I didn't need all that. I've been hearing things about their sandwiches... perhaps I'll try one next time!The place reminded me of Big Daddy's in the sense that it was connected to a beer & wine shop. They have quite the variety of things, and there's a takeout spot in the back of it -- in fact, all the food seems to come from back there. It wasn't on the menu I was looking at, but they definitely have pizza. I'm going to have to try that next time I go.The vibe of the spot was really nice... but then again, it might've been the music. They do trivia, and they might do karaoke? Who knows. But either way, I'll be back!

Quench! is a local staple. Half of it is a great wine and beer shop with a small but mighty selection, and the other half is the Tap Room. Service is fine, usually pretty quick. They have a solid alcohol selection with interesting tap beers as well as a variety of cocktails. I have recently ordered the margarita which is gigantic, but not very flavorful. Quench! also has a decent food menu, with standout items being the wings, personal pizzas, and sandwiches.

Great Reuben. Great Pizzas! great drinks. What can I say, you get what you pay for. It was 144 for 2 pizzas and a sandwich and cocktails for 4 (2 drinks each - not rail liquor). Totally worth it! I'll be back.

This place is in a strip mall. The menu has upscale pub grub. Hubby enjoys meeting friends here. The bar area was comfy. If you are visiting at night, be aware of traffic.

The atmosphere is relaxed is what I was trying to post in my last review (darn autocorrect). The beer selection is still wonderful and it is a great place to meet up with friends. Some seating is more comfortable. If you're interested in Trivia they host a Trivia evening; call to find out when.

Quench is bout to be my new Friday night hangout spot lol. I had such a good time a this cute place. I wouldn't have ever known it was there if I hadn't been in the area looking for wine but I'm glad I found it lol. I tried the Philly cheesesteak while I enjoyed drinks and karaoke, the sandwich was delicious and fresh. Super fun random night with hubby. No cover charge, drink prices were great and there there's lots of parking space.

Great cocktails and service! It's a quaint spot attached to the liquor store next door. We went on a Saturday evening and had just missed the Saturday rush but the service was great and the cocktails were delicious.

I hate to leave a bad review for any business but this place is TERRIBLE! Hard to overstate how bad it is. The drinks are expensive. Beer is $7-12 and cocktails $12-15. Happy hour is only 10% off. I had an original mojito and a caipirinha and they were so weak I don't think they put the liquor in. I had the chicken pot stickers and they were equally bad. They were watery and】 flavorless. The frozen ones from Trader Joe's has these beat by a mile!I don't know how they stay in business. Again, i feel bad but absolutely don't waste your money here!

I would give bonus stars if I could. This is my favorite place in Silver Spring! Great food, awesome service, they're always rotating the beers on tap with a fun variety, and they have a full bar/cocktail menu (which is my favorite) as well. Can't recommend it enough!
