I ordered takeout from Que Rico and tried Abuelo's Favorite Plate and a side of Mofongo Bites with dipping sauces. Everything was incredible! The pork in Abuelo's Favorite Plate was tender, flavorful, and tasted like a true home-cooked meal. The Arroz con Gandules was perfectly seasoned, adding a wonderful balance to the dish. The tostones were expertly fried--crispy yet tender--and the dipping sauces elevated them even more. The side of beans was a delightful surprise, rich and well-seasoned, rounding out the meal beautifully.Last but not least, the Mofongo Bites were crispy on the outside, savory, and satisfying on the inside.Que Rico delivers authentic Puerto Rican cuisine with delicious flavors that are clearly made with care. I'll definitely be ordering again!

Not sure if I came an off night or something, but I was not impressed by the food at Que Rico. The "restaurant" is really a ghost kitchen - you make you order online and then go to an out of the way building behind the 7-11 to pick up your food from a locker. There were no visible employees at the front area, only ubereats drivers making pickups. I ordered an Abuelo's Favorite Plate, which came with pulled pork, rice, beans, and plantain cakes. The pulled pork was overcooked behind belief - super dry with no hint of moistness whatsoever. I could only make it palatable by dousing it with hot sauce or dipping it in the garlic sauce (which was actually pretty good - nice and vinegary). The beans were fine. The tostones (plantains) were a bit of a disappointment, because it felt like I was just eating fried cardboard. Don't bother ordering the house rice with a meat charge, because there's barely any meat in it - it's all rice. Now that I'm rereading this review, I guess it was actually pretty bad. Changing this from a 3 star to a 2 star review

Came here for the first time and it was interesting finding the place. They're located in the very back of a 7 eleven in a small warehouse like building. There's no sign outside that tells you this is the place, that's because this appears to be a shared kitchen with other restaurants, four in total. Well, the ordering and payment is all done online or by using a tablet ordering system located inside. Just browse through the menu, place your order and pay. Afterwards you receive a text msg. with a pickup time. They have these lockers that hold your food and when the order is ready you get it from the locker's. Very simple, totally contacless and little human interaction. I got the "titi favorite plate" with choices of rice, stewed beef and tostones. I also ordered one beef empanada just incase. The food was very good 7.8/10, it had that home cooked taste and the portion was just right. Easily for two meals if you're not greedy like me. I definitely would return to try their pernil/pork butt and their mofongo balls.

I ordered food from this restaurant at the Four Mile Food Co. I only wanted some protein, not a whole meal, and was happy to see a side of pernil on the menu. It was a sizeable amount of flavorful and tender meat. I added a side of tostones. This was quite a large order that I couldn't even finish. All in all, a good option at this restaurant co-op.

I tried this place through DoorDash. The food came very well packed and fresh! I thought it may get a little cold since I live further away, but it was still yummy. I ordered:- beef mofongo bites- pastelillo trio sampler - abeulo's favorite plate with pork and arroz con jamon fumadoEach of them came with their own garlic mojo sauce and mayo ketchup. The garlic sauce was soooo good, but def will linger in your mouth for a full day lol. It was my first time having beef mofongo bites and I thought they were really good. The portion size was bigger than I thought they'd be. The trio sampler had beef, beef and cheese, and cheese. I severely underestimated the size. They're bigger than my face! I'm glad to get the trio on my first time so I know what I can try different options. The plate combo meal was delicious. It came with beans and tostones. Everything was made fresh and full of flavor. This is a comfy and cozy meal. Excited to have more Puerto Rican options in the area!

I saw a social media video about this place and decided to give it a try. This is a take out/ food delivery. You place your order they give you a time and then you go and pick it up. It's located in the back of the 7-11 parking lot. There is parking but be where there are a ton of pot holes and the parking is limited. Now onto the food. I ordered the pastellios sample. Three Puerto Rican empanadas. Cheese, beef, beef and cheese and Tito's plate. The empanadas were huge. They were perfectly crispy my favorite one was the beef. I wish there was one with beef, rice and cheese. The Tito's plate was a lot smaller than I expected but the flavors were amazing! I was not a fan of the tostones. They were a little to fried for my liking.I would definitely order again.

Great experience ordering delivery from Que Rico and I will definitely be ordering again. I decided to try their Abuelo's plate and the pork was absolutely tender and delicious with a cracklin' piece in top, well seasoned rice with ham bits, tasty beans, and tostones. The portions were very generous and a good value. Given the currently cold weather, I also tried their chicken stew, and it was the best hearty comfort food items and will likely become a staple for when I need a nourishing pick me up. When I called before ordering with a food allergy related question, the person who answered was very friendly. I look forward to stopping in person at some point soon.
