The mall has undergone a total transformation with the new Ballston Market food court on the ground floor and new shops popping up. As fellow Yelper Elite Gretchen noted, the Ballston Market deserves its own listing and the old reviews don't reflect the mall make-over!With over a dozen vendors, the food hall offers diverse culinary cuisines - Rogi pierogis (formerly's Zofia's Kitchen), Rice Crook's rice bowls, Maizal arepa and South American veggie bowls, Go Poke bowls, Roll'd dumplings, Superette hearty sandwiches, Sloppy Mama's BBQ, Hot Lola's fried chicken and curly fries, seafood from The Local Oyster, Bollywood Bistro Indian food, Turu's New York style-pizza from Timber, Ice Cream Jubilee, and Service Station serving beer and cider on draft. There's also sit-down restaurants - True Foods, Bar Taco and Copa Kitchen. There's even Chick-Fil-A, something for everyone! Most of vendors stay open until 9pm on the weekends e.g. Turu's, Ice Cream Jubilee, Rogi, Superette, Bollywood Express, Mezeh - but some of them e.g. Maizal, Roll'd, Rice Crook, Go Poke, close early. Just check the individual restaurant site. After making the rounds to the different vendors - here's the scoop:Rogi - formerly Zofia's Kitchen (4/5) - While the bite-size pierogies are pricey (5 for $9), I enjoyed the pan-fried spinach and feta and the mushroom pierogies with the lemon dill sour cream dipping sauce. The Latake donut is fun to try and a giant hashbrown. The diversity and culinary experience is worth the hefty price. Service Station (5/5) - Impressive selection of beers and ciders on tap. The True Berry Hard Seltzer and Downeast Guava are my picks!Hot Lola's (5/5) - The seasoned curly fries were delish!Superette (4/5) - The red sangria is made to order and quite refreshing, packs a punch! The fried Oreos were a bit of a miss.Ice Cream Jubilee (3/5) - The ice cream looks amazing and a bit deceiving - just not as good as it looks. The crunchy waffle cone really elevates the flavor.Maizal (3/5) - While I was really rooting for the arepas and loaded bowls filled to the brim with a galore of toppings, the sour service really falls short of the food. I arrived a minute before 8pm on Sat and the mean male server shooed me away. The arepas were so overstuffed that all the toppings feel out and turned into a sloppy mess. Maizal has potential, but the poor staff and execution really ruin the experience.Turu's by Timber Pizza (2/5) - The pizza has really gone downhill and heavily coated in grease. Turu's was soo good in the 1st year it opened and just threw in the towel after the 1st slice after my last visit.Bar Taco (1/5) - Hands-down the WORST cocktails. At $10 a pop for a cocktail, the Margarita was a sugar overload and the sangria tastes like jungle juice. If you're looking for a great glass of sangria - head over to Superette. I did a side-by-side sangria taste test and hand-down Superette won!Excited to come back for more culinary experiences and try new vendors!

This food hall is in the Ballston mall and has a variety of places including BBQ, Asian noodles, sandwiches, bubble tea, cookies, ice cream, Indian and Korean hot dogs. There's a good amount of seating and the place seems new and clean. There's a good amont of seating and plenty of places to choose from so it's worth checking out if you're in the area. Also, if you don't find what you want here there's a Mezeh and a Chick FIl-a elsewhere in the mall.

Nice improvement; the gate is wide open to allow natural light and air (feeling less like a stuffy basement like before in winter but more like a courtyard). Nice food stalls and good variety! Clean restrooms.

I've been to Quarter Market countless times because I live across the street from it. It's nice and trendy with a variety of different food and desserts. Ever since I first stopped by in 2019, it has gone through a lot of changes (lots of vendors come and go, unfortunately). They have also expanded a lot in the past few years.I've tried most of the vendors that's available currently and my favorite is definitely Ice Cream Jubilee. While it's a bit expensive, I really like their take on unique flavors and the heritage months that they aim to celebrate.I know a lot of my friends and others really like Hot Lolas (fried chicken and sandwiches!!), Turu's Pizza Kitchen and Superette. Check it out if you're in the area!

Wow! This is a great place to go for a hangout with friends, date with your significant other, or just wanting to get out the house! Everything looks gorgeous and it felt great to just sit around with the many food and dessert options inside. We had busted the movie theater a couple of times before finally making the adventure downstairs, and I'm so glad we did!

Quarter Market is so nice. It has a hip & trendy vibe that's perfect spot to hang with friends. There was 16 different spots to eat at ranging from Indian to noodles to poke to bbq. Plus a doughnut or ice cream place that are both phenomenal. The place is well kept and clean. There's an outdoor area that occasionally hosts events, like a bring your dog day. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic new food court concept! I knew that when Ballston Quarter got announced, it meant that ye olde Ballston Common Mall was getting quite the revamp, but I didn't really think about what it would mean for the former food court options as well. I'm so happy to report that Quarter Market is all you could wish for and more! It's enormous, has a huge, diverse offering of trendy cuisines all headed up by LOCAL businesses, and I couldn't be happier with the selection so far (and there's only more to come!)Hot Lola's, Rice Crook, Ballston Service Station, Roll'd, The Local Oyster, Turu's by Timber Pizza, Sloppy Mama's BBQ, Mi & Yu Noodle Bar, and Ice Cream Jubilee are rocking it out so far in the main food court area, with Copa Kitchen & Bar offering full-service seating close by and tons more on the way (Maizal! Bartaco!), and additional Ballston Quarter restaurants like True Food Kitchen and Ted's Bulletin (both set to open soon!) just a stone's throw away. There's a huge variety of tables and seating, a cute little faux-grassy, green area off to one side with cornhole and benches, and an outdoor plaza area for which they can open garage-style doors to the main area when the weather is nice. Overall, it's an awesome space, and I'm sure will only continue to get better as additional businesses open up inside. Three cheers for Quarter Market!

Awesome food hall with plenty of options. I come here every now and then and try to sample some of the dishes here. I love Hot Lola's chicken, Sloppy Mamas bbq, Local oysters fresh seafood and Maizal Mexican street food. Ceilings here are high and they have plenty of seating. There is a lot of street art and cool vibrant colors all around. Great spot to grab lunch or bring the kids. They do have an outside faux garden area where kids can play. The staff keeps this place spotless. The variety here is awesome. You can get everything savory and sweet. I'll be coming back when I'm in the area to try out some of the newer spots.

I first learned about the Quarter market within the new Ballston mall and it is amazing and I cant stop telling people about it. It's essentially in the basement of the mall and has SO many food options. There's an arepa fast casual restaurant, there's pizza, there are Spanish bars, oyster bars, you name it. So many food options to explore. It has union market vibes, but is way more low key and less crowded as I dont think too many people know about this place yet. I'm definitely planning on going back to try out all the different options. I went for the fast casual arepas this time and they were so yummy and cheap. I wasnt starving so I got one arepa for $5 and filled it to the max. I then went to copa and had a delicious sangria flight that I will go back for. Cant rave more about this new place in the Ballston mall.
